Service was excellent.Hotel could have used some upgrades.Breakfast could have been better.

The room was actually great, but the electronic lock on the door was a problem. It was real hit and miss as far as working. The room had been remodeled, and was nice, but the door was a problem at times. The toilet was weak to flush at times as well. But the room was beautifully remodeled and very nice.

Our (double queen) room (#45) looked a bit different from the pictures; specifically our carpet was super musty and stained. The bathroom featured a self-draining sink counter (it was permanently sloped downwards, probably due to a poor design and 40 years of use). This is an older motel that is in the process of slowly being renovated. Some rooms are definitely better than others. Another person in our group got a king room (22? 26?) and it smelled better and had new laminate flooring. All rooms had nice, newer furnishings, comfy beds, very new mini fridges, and effective ac units. I washed the washable filters in our unit, in the misguided hope it would help with the smell. Having the ac unit running helped somewhat, but it still hit me every time I walked in. Both bathrooms needed work. We talked about asking for a different room, but we had already brought our bags in and were quite tired, and the prospect of loading the car back up to switch rooms was enough of a deterrent that we decided to suck it up. The following morning I overheard the (very polite) manager discussing another guest’s room dissatisfaction with her; he was understanding and offered to switch the guest to a different, more thoroughly updated room. So, my main piece of advice is to go investigate your room before you move your bags in, in case you want to switch. The takeaway continental breakfast was exactly that. There was oatmeal, cereal, fruit, yogurt, breakfast bars, coffee and juice.

We stood on the bottom floor, it was hard to get in the room , they need to update the locks and key cards for the hotel. The room smelled like basement. The couch looked like someone got killed on it with the stains from cleaning. The bathroom had spiders. There was a double door that goes into another room. The lock was kind of sketchy so we put the cott infront of it. It was an ok hotel inexpensive..you get what you pay for. There is no continental breakfast. What i did like was the hot water in the shower.

* Our stay was a great value: For the price, it was a good experience. * The staff is very friendly & helpful. * The carry-out breakfast was pretty good. * The building is pretty dated, but everything seemed to work OK. * My only complaint: There was no convenient customer parking in front of the front door - apparently because the employees' cars were parked right at the hotel's front door. (My observation: The same 2 cars were parked at the front door - for the whole shift - while there were no customers checking in.) I have traveled a LOT, and I have never seen this before. Customers should be offered convenient parking.

The beds were comfortable and everything worked.

I rated the hotel as excellent because of the price. The hotel and rooms itself are somewhat rundown. However, we were going by price. And by price, this is an excellent deal. They are very pet friendly. The additional cost for a pet is $10. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. We will definitely stay there again if we're in the area. If you expect everything to be brand spanking new, you'll be disappointed. We just look at fundamentals - and this place provided all.

The room inside was very clean ( good job). The outside could use some updating. Maybe a better breakfast.

You are getting what you are paying for. Rooms are quite old and smell not great. Beds are good and quite comfortable. Ok to stay one night and leave. Acceptable overall.

It was a pet friendly hotel. We didn't have a pet. The rug had a lot of pet stains on it but it did not smell. Not to my liking.

As is typical of almost every hotel, the rooms always smell musty....not fresh smelling at all. Towels were plenty long enough...thats a good thing, room was spacious, bed was comfortable, bathroom served its purpose, water pressure was good, only one picture but all in all it served its purpose

The room and bed were comfortable. The room was clean. It’s a short walking distance from restaurants and a Walmart.

It got great reviews when I was looking online. And I agree with what I read. There was a ton of green space to walk my dog (although at night most wasn’t well lit so I stuck to where the lighted areas were). The room was big and clean. I had a fridge and microwave. The people were very friendly and helpful when I asked if there was a Starbucks or Dunkin where I could get coffee. Lol. I would definitely stay there again and refer people there.

The AC is extremely loud which I didn’t like. But overall it was clean and I felt comfortable. Wish the TV was bigger so it’s easier to see!

Room was a good size. Older but seemed clean. Cofffe pot was bad so maintence did respond quickly and replaced it. The desk lady had a real aditude and was very rude. Had an issue with pre paging the room. All she could do was blame expidea. When i asked her some.questions she said if you ask me again, you wont habe a room for tonight. Very rude...

Basic room and it did the trick for our stop while traveling. The check in and out was easy which was great. The front desk staff were wonderful. The pool was a nice break from the heat. We would stay here again.

It's old and a bit run down, but adequately maintained. The rooms are more spacious than most motels, and the green grounds are just lovely. The room had a musty smell when we arrived and it took them two days to get to it, but they installed a de-humidifier and a spray, and it started to get better on the first day of this treatment. It's location to downtown Painted Post is nice.

Staff was super friendly. Room was spacious and generally clean. There were some spiders and moths but considering room is on first floor, acceptable. Room is a bit old, but good enough for a short stay. Close to the glass museum, so location is ok too.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at America's Best Value Inn in Painted Post, NY, with my family, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The room was updated (no carpet) and very spacious. It was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights of sleep. The room also featured a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, and a microwave, adding to the convenience and comfort. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. Despite its convenient location, the hotel is situated in a quiet area, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing environment. The complimentary breakfast was a delightful surprise, offering a variety of options to suit all tastes. One of the standout features of this hotel is the exceptional customer service. Every staff member we encountered was courteous, professional, and genuinely interested in ensuring we had a positive experience. They were always available to answer any questions and provide helpful recommendations for local activities and restaurants. A small note to the maintenance team: the shower was difficult to switch on, but the water was hot and had good pressure.

Decent overnight stop. There's a Taco Bell, Applebee's, and a Walmart/Subway right across.

The best way to describe everything is “dated”. Nothing fancy. Pretty much get what you pay for. Good for an overnight on a budget. Older woman at front desk was very pleasant to deal with.

We saw multiple suspicious looking insects. We couldn't sleep because the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the refrigerator was making loud breathing noises. The bathroom felt very sketchy because there was a closet-like thing that was nailed shut and cracked. My daughter felt uncomfortable using the toilet because she was worried there was a camera in the closet-thing (We couldn't look to see there was nothing there because it was nailed shut). The TV screen was so small. So small! It was slightly bigger than a laptop screen (Definitely not a wide screen TV as advertised). So small!! The overall hotel room was not as clean as one would expect for a hotel room. The shower was not very clean and looked icky. There was trash that was not ours underneath the bed and layers of dust. The outside of the hotel room was not clean either. We couldn't help but notice the empty beer cans and litter outside. On a positive note, the woman who worked at the counter was very nice, therefore, I added a star. Our window overlooked a courtyard and the room was very spacious. We did like that there was a refrigerator (Although loud) and there was a swimming pool (We did not use it though). In the future, it's not likely I would choose this hotel to stay in again.

Bathroom was dirty .. could’ve been wiped .. soap dish was off wall … room had musty smell seems like it wasn’t used in awhile.. staff of excellent though.. breakfast grab and go was convenient… you get what you pay for here. I would stay again.. just feel it could be cleaner
