Great stay at this lovely hotel. As a vegetarian, the breakfast was a bit weak and the TV in my room was impossible to turn on, but otherwise a great stay.

Renovation/update desperately needed. Excellent personnel but the hotel is just so worn down, that it can’t really make up for it. Pool is very small, and facilities around it, changing room/lockers/etc, are awful and uninviting.

Good location, property is a bit dated, but OK. When I checked in they told me the restaurant was fully booked. I think the shoukd warn you to book as there is nothing close by. Rest all good

I loved the proximity to the ocean and surrounding beauty spots. It was outside of the main city centre which meant it was peaceful and quiet, whilst the city was quick and easy to get to. We loved the indoor swimming pool and the buffet breakfast was very extensive. The furnishings were a little worn but the hotel itself was nice and clean.

No kettle in room or tea/coffee making facilities. Small facility for making your own in the reception. Ate at the restaurant once and regretted it. Portions small , limited menu and had to wait an age to be served. Very poor service. Everything else about the hotel was good though.

Lovely hotel, super-friendly staff, very clean, and extra compliments to the kitchen - super breakfast and the dinner was exquisite 👌 The hotel is near the Marselisborg Forests in one direction, and 30mins walk into Aarhus centre in the other direction - plus the beach and sea is right in front of you - a perfect location if you love walking and want to get a good rest by the sea in the evening, hearing the waves crashing all night. Bliss! I would book again - the sea view rooms are wonderful.

Always my top choice in Aarhus - been coming here for over 15 years and I think all the rooms have now been refurbished. There are other improvements underway and a new chef I believe who was very helpful during this visit with my dental problem! Shame that they have introduced parking fees from a 3rd party - that's my only negative. All staff are always so helpful and cannot do enough for you. Just be aware that the restaurant is closed on a Sunday and can get full if there are large events happening. Was lucky enough to see porpoise in the bay outside the hotel again this visit and always enjoy walks along the beach and the forest.

Not a 4 star experience. I can't exactly put my finger on it. The reception was welcoming, nice view of the sea, pool, fitness and exceptionalbeds. But small things weren't good enough: a piece of wood stucking out beside the aged buttons by the bed, worn frame on the bathroom mirror and old water chalk residue in the corners of the bathroom. The breakfast was also underwhelming. Room 146

Rooms are spacious and well equipped, however walls seem to had a better days as there was a layer of dust on the whole wall by the bed. Outdoor furniture was very dirty from birds fallings. Wooden floor deserves some deeper attention as it was very scratched up. Bathroom was relatively clean but there was a hole in the shower separator which led to a flood in the bathroom so we had to use extra towel to dry it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Receptionists always available at the reception so slew had everything resolved in a seconds.Swimming pool area and gym was clean and well stocked. Food was great and plenty of choices. I would come back for the see view that was absolutely stunning. Price wise it was a bit overpriced as I didn’t find enough points to give 4 stars.

This is certainly somewhere to stay at for the views! The rooms on the higher levels are spacious and provide gorgeous views of the sea. If you stay here, I’d plan on having a lot of activities planned as the hotel itself needs some work. The rooms are pretty bare-bones and the toiletry supply is quite low. Great breakfast and would recommend staying here in the summer.

Good: Beautiful location with seaview and a beach just outside yhe rooms. Friendly staff, great dinner buffet and clean rooms. Easy to fin, and enough parking spots (but pricey). Could be better: Breakfast buffet was terrible busy at peak times. Scrambled eggs was not made from eggs, but this egg substitude stuff some hotels are using, not my favourite. No aircondition or any kind of ventilation in rooms, so we had to open the door. The open door resulted in noise from neighboors in the hotel until 23, and our kid could not sleep. We chose the hotel cause it had pool and gym. The gym had old low quality equipment and was not good. The pool was small and not really clean. Only one shower was available in changing room, and it smelled old. It was mold around floor. Also the pool had no shallow area, so our kid that could not swim, could not reach the bottom anywhere. Nobody of the other guests showered and jumped straught to the pool, making it unhygienic. So dont choose the hotel for pool and gym facilities like we did. We only used it once, that was enough....

Not a 4 Star experience - View and breakfast is the only thing working for this hotel - its dirty, moldy and rooms smell like old Mans House A New thing is they now even charge 25 eur to park per night Restaurant has turned into same buffet every night with leftovers from Day before So sad - this used to be a favorite in Aarhus

Slow check-in. Dated facilities. Moderately clean. Poor service. Very nice view from room, no air-con. Ok pool. Lousy gluten-free breakfast options and NO gluten-free dinner buffet options (despite being informed this was no problem earlier in the day. Had to ad-hoc a ride into town for a late dinner, when explicitly trying to avoid this by addressing our needs earlier in the day). Would rather stay in town and ride out to the nice beaches during the day.
