Perfect as always, best deal in Aarhus price/value. Excellent breakfast - (only I miss the butter in the small portions sizes)

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the room's comfort, the excellent location, stunning views, and delicious breakfast. Exceptional value for the price—I'll definitely be back!

I must admit I have mixed feelings towards the Atlantic Hotel.
The location is great, in front of the Dokk1, close to the channel (very lively at night), just 3 mins away from the bus station and 5 from the train station.
The room was very large and overall comfortable, with a large TV (but you need to include the sleep function: the proper key is in the remote controller, but it does no work), but with some strange flows. No fridge at all, nor - and it is far more weird - no phone in the room: to contact the hotel you have to call with your phone, or to go downstairs. Rather odd, indeed.
Even more weird: the cleaning of the room is optional, and you have to opt-in, the night before, till 11 PM. I understand the environmental ground behind this choice, but it's nevertheless very strange. An opt-out solution might perhas work better, without giving the impression that this is a way to save money with the cleaning at the expenses of an absent-minded guest (I was not alerted of that as of the check-in). Furthermore, the room is pretty dark: more light might be good, and a general switcher next to the bed even more (I had to switch off each device separately).
The breakfast is simply great, very rich and high quality, with a wonderful view from the 10th floor. Well done; the table reservation system for the weekend worked very well.
I would be please to visit Hotel Atlantic again in the future; if they take care of these flaws, it would be an even greater pleasure.

The Atlantic is a downtown hotel built in about 1960 that has been renovated cosmetically but has some quirks. There is no AC and no way to regulate the room temperature at all. A phone number is provided to change the temperature. Fortunately we were on the top floor with a balcony so we just opened the door. Being on a busy city road led to noise with a door open. Fortunately it seems to become quiet around 11pm on weekdays. If you need parking do not trust that just because you requested it , you will have it. We were told that you need to contact the hotel directly for parking not just in the special request box where we also requested extra towels during the booking process. By the way we got the towels and not the parking. Since we arrived during a monsoon of a rainstorm and were expecting the inside building parking , we were annoyed even before checking in. From the public parking on the side of the hotel we dragged heavy luggage in the pouring rain. No explanation was offered as to why this special extra step of contact for parking is needed nor why it is not made clear on the booking site.No apology was offered. On the plus side the harbor view is nice and the bed is a comfortable king. The breakfast is good with a good selection. There is no restaurant but a tiny bar in the lobby fills that function. Overall it is a functional hotel for both business guests and tourists.

Unfortunately, our room tfacing the city side had no air condition. The sun shines into the room all afternoon and the temperature in the room reaches about 40 degrees.
Even airing out the room didn't help.
Maybe in the future the hotel management should think about how to stop this.
On the other hand everything was to our satisfaction!

Great location, very comfortable, delicious breakfast (do try the pancakes). The upgrade to a room with a harbour facing view was a very nice touch. Would definitely return to this hotel.

A great choice for spending time in Aarhus. Staff were lovely and our room was spotless. We were lucky and we're on the 8th floor so kept our window open at night - not sure how traffic noise would have been lower down. Breakfast was excellent - a good selection and all good quality to set you up for the day, especially as food in Denmark is pricey. Well located to get to the main sites and close to the areas for good bars and restaurants - I would definitely chose to stay again if ever back in Aarhus.

The fellow who checked me in was pleasant but that is about all the good I can share about my experience at this hotel.
The site indicated that on-site parking was included but it is not. The parking garage elevator is broken. When I used the stairwell after getting to my room because one of the two passenger elevators is out of service and the other one is slow, I discovered that the stairwell goes outside of the building to the parking garage where
I ended up stuck with no egress. I could tell that the parking garage had not been used in a very long time.
Breakfast the next morning was fine but I will not return to this hotel.

I REALLY regret choosing Homaris East Side Hotel in Berlin for our stay. The hotel failed at the most basic aspects of hospitality. The automated check-in was non-functional (as in we couldnt get into the building!) and it was only by chance that we got into the lobby. The room's condition was terrible, with no heating, no hot water, and a flooded bathroom. The staff's promises to rectify these issues were empty, and the actual assistance was extremely negligible. In the end, after a stressful confrontation, we managed to get a refund for the subsequent nights but not for the first night. This experience was unacceptable, and I urge others to avoid this hotel at all costs.

An unforgettable stay! The hotel exceeded all my expectations. From the attentive service to the luxurious amenities, every moment was perfect. The rooms were comfortable and stylish, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Highly recommended for an extraordinary hotel experience

The room had a very nice view and despite being located directly in front of the elevators, it was not in any way disturbing.
After having read other reviews I was unsure what to expect with regard’s to the walls being “thin”. That was not an issue for us.
During weekdays guests does not have to book a breakfast time slot and the buffet was really ample and with e.g. cheese of high quality.
When we arrived the room was very hot, but the reception turned the heat down a few degrees until it suited us.
The only minor hiccup was the weather had frozen the car lift and parking had to be found elsewhere. Just in front of the hotel there is an automated parking garage with max cost of 250 dkr pr 24h. It worked really nice an our car came back without any snow or ice.

Nice hotel, close to points of interest. Very good breakfast with many options
One thing we really didn’t like was that we have to book a table for breakfast in the weekend at a especific time.

Large room with the most comfortable bed of our trip. My wife appreciated the bath tub.

Good location, breakfast can be very crowded. Can be a little noisy on a main busy rd and a nightclub very close by. Comfortable beds and room, great views.

With a location by the harbour area, just a few minuts walk from the city center.
It's ideal for a city stayover.

The Admiral is a very nice hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. The location is great, right on the water a couple of blocks from Nyhaven. We enjoyed our stay.
4.0
Nice hotel - we liked that all rooms had a small balcony, that the staff remembered our rooms, that the room seeemed fresh and new, and the breakfast was nice, too. Only the communication about it was a bit annoying as the breakfast booking was followed by TM reminders and emails with "remember our date tomorrow.
We were less happy with the loud all night music from the concert place closeby, but hopefully it is only a problem during the annual festival week. We kept the windows closed, and luckily it was not a hot night, because the rooms did not have AC, but a fan.

Nice hotel in city center. The area around the hotel is noisy and a bit messy.

Staff was very unhelpful and not accommodating at all. Beds - TERRIBLE. Literally felt like broken - super soft. Bfast limited selection with not a good coffee. Location was the only good thing about this place.

We really enjoyed our harbor view suite - tons of room for a family and a fantastic view. The breakfast was lovely, but make sure you make a reservation on the weekend or you will have a difficult time using your breakfast benefit. If you like to sleep with your windows open, the surrounding area gets very loud at night due to the nearby nightclub and bars. Our main complaint here was the parking. We paid $27 USD to park in the garage which is perfectly fine, however at check out your parking becomes deactivated as it is associated with your room key. We wanted to get lunch after checking out, and parked in what the receptionist said was the “free parking on Sunday lot” adjacent to the hotel. Since we don’t speak Danish, we trusted the reception that we could park there. After only being parked for a brief period, we had a $100 parking ticket. Very disappointing as we had already paid over $100 to park at Hotel Atlantic that week.
