I was there for a wedding at the grand which is right down the street. I didn’t wanna drive home so I decided to stay at this establishment and oh my goodness I couldn’t ask for a better stay.. Rome was beautiful. The comfortability of the bed was just what I needed. I enjoy my night and I woke up refresh rejuvenated, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff was excellent. I love this hotel and I will definitely be back.

The room was clean and extremely spacious. The breakfast was hot and fresh and I was grateful for the friendly professional staff. They even accommodated 30 minute extra time to check out when I visit Long Beach. I wouldn't mind staying at this property again.

I struggled with the overall rating. All ratings were at least very good but the main drawback is the road noise. The property is in close proximity to a busy road and the freeway is very close. My unit was near the busy street and the clowns on loud motorcycles raced by too often. The service was fantastic and the rooms were very comfortable and did not have the usual hotel layout. I also had a kitchen, which was great. I am guessing the room was recently remodeled. If possible, try to get a room away from the Wardlow Rd street. Also, go for a second floor to limit the noise above your room. It is a comfortable place and with the exception of the noise, I enjoyed my stay.

The room we were assigned to was Handicapped Access. Great. But the bathroom shower drain was in the center of floor of the whole bathroom. So getting out of the shower was very Hazardous. My husband almost fell. Because there was SO much water a on the floor!!! VERY UNSAFE. Also the plug by the bed was ARCHING when we tried to plug in the CPAP machine that my husband uses for sleep. So DANGEROUS!!! Could have easily started a fire!! We called the front office and they moved us to another room. You would think that the price we paid for the room it would be at least SAFE!!

Our room had a horrible mold and mildew smell. While things appeared clean we did see several roaches during our stay. Staff was friendly and the hotel is in a convenient location, but the mold is definitely an issue that needs to be addressed.

I’m a member of Hotel.com and a member with Marriott Rewards . When checked in paid receiving the confirmation number.. And your reservations is guaranteed so arrive at anytime. I used to worked there 25 + years ago . And I stayed there with family and friends had great visits.. When checking in the young lady , she found my reservation gave her my license and card what need pay $20 for incidentals . She said can’t use my debit card that I used there many times also other locations ? She I couldn’t use it and my card is link to my checking account. Despite that I paid over $200 for room already. I didn’t bring my debit cards and cash she wouldn’t accept anything? I’m moving and taking caring for my elderly mother. I just wanted some alone time. She didn’t try working with me at all.

The newly renovated room was very nice, clean and accommodating. The best part of the experience was the assistance from Anna at the front desk. She assisted me with checking in and helped me with other questions throughout my stay. Her patience and kindness were greatly appreciated after traveling with my elderly father. I highly recommend this place and I will be staying here again.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. This was clearly an old apartment complex turned into a crappy hotel. The rooms smelled like cat pee and public pool. Everything looked like it was 100 years old. Even the security guards were playing cards with the “residence in the dark… To say I felt bait and switched is an understatement. Property was very clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast had good options. The drawbacks were for us a very uncomfortable pull out my daughter slept on (a nice mattress topper would have helped). And the property looked its age- although it appears it may be going through an update soon. We had a nice stay.
