Very nice stay. Building 4 is looking old and needs new carpet and new paint in hallways and rooms. The sliding door track needed cleaning and oiling. Room service good.

Not great service. Young, rude staff who didn’t seem to care about anything. I’m only 37 so it’s not like there was a huge age gap but I felt very old because they were so immature

There commercials boasted of connecting rooms. After one email and 2 phone calls assuring this would be done our rooms were not together. Our rooms were identical in every way but the cost was $72 + more for one of the rooms. Customer service is awful from check in to out and now that our stay is over you can’t get any communication from them. This was a very special occasion for our family and I’m heart broken.

our favorite place to get away since 2015

The stay would have been great. However, at 12:35 pm I was woken up by a staff with another guest opening and closing doors in building 4 level 4 and walking the hall with a cart for luggage. It was so loud I could not get back to sleep for an hour. I was there for a conference and this really ruined an otherwise excellent stay.
I have no idea what they were doing. I thought someone was trying to break into rooms it was so loud.

Place is good to keep kids occcupied in the pool area and water slide, but dining options on property are severely limited. Had a great room, with lots of space and beautiful 65 inch TV. However it was dusty and allergy inducing, also the beautiful TV didn’t work. Ice machines on our building didn’t work.

The property is absolutely beautiful! Well maintained and kept up. The staff, every single employee we encountered was top notch, outstanding, knowledgeable, friendly, can’t say enough about the staff! Big room, great view of the main pool. The only thing we encountered that was a little bit off putting was at first entry to our room it seemed to smell a little musty? Wish we could have stayed longer!

From check in to visiting the gift shop ( Brenda was amazing helpful and kind) to fine dining, enjoying the mind blowing views of the Pusch Mountains and then an amazing gourmet breakfast experience my stay was our perfection every step of the way!
The El Con has always been my happy place and always will be

Shower (tub) had a couple of stains that I was able to wipe off easily but the thought of it being dirty is not pleasant. I would love to see a recycle bin at the pool. Breakfast buffet was pretty empty. Our stay is always enjoyable. We have been staying since 2015! The staff is always amazing especially Joey and Danielle at the pool. This year we really loved Andrew!!! We booked 4 rooms for Labor Day weekend and can’t wait to go back.

Always a fun way to spend 4 days away from home…they have everything you need on property so you don’t have to leave…

A lot of air conditioning issues in rooms and including the restaurants. This hotel had issues with timely trash and room service pick-up in the casita area.

Unable to checkin until 10pm due to a system outage that morning. We arrived at checkin time and were told to kill time until we receive a call us when our room is available. They never called. Gave out already occupied rooms to our friends, offered vouchers to everyone else but us. Saw garbage left out in front of casitas for days along with abandoned housekeeping carts. Staff turns a blind eye to anything out of place so they don’t have to clean it. Hotel golf cart drivers have no patience for you to move to the side and will charge at you forcing you into the gravel. Front desk is not friendly. No towels were available at the pool. Could not connect to wifi as the information entered (room # and name) didn’t match their system.

Air conditioning was broken resort wide.

The area and the views are so beautiful, staff very friendly but with the price you pay the condition of the room should be way better, felt like old and need renovations.

It was just a disaster from the minute my wife and I arrived. We got there and there was no parking, we had to park on the other side of the building and walk to our hotel room which was far across the other side. Then we get there and the pool was crazy packed, the pool water looked dirty and there was a ton of rude people. From staff to the same people staying at the hotel, they were just rude. And then we head back to our room and we started to unpack when we notice a bug moving on the pillows, the closer we get the more we see its a bed bug. We instantly checked out and did not want to be there any longer. That resort needs updates and it needs to be cleaned up very well.

The stay was nice on a busy 4th of July. Nice to see so many families proudly displaying their love of this nation. Only complaint would be the cost for “private” fireworks viewing opportunity. $35 per adult and was promoted with food and drinks. One would perhaps expect a spread of easy eats however, they provided cupcakes, cookies and nachos and salsa. One cocktail per person for adults and a very small viewing area. The cost would be better at $10 per adult and free for the kiddos. Way too expensive for what was offered. The result was a very small viewing group out of a list of many pages. I bet I’m not the only one that was disappointed.

We love staying here. We are a family of five with young children and always have the best time. The children accommodations are amazing. They have an awesome kid pool as well as a great Kidzone area. I would definitely recommend to young families.

First room tv was broke, second room was ok. The pool near the room was dirty, all the lounge chairs had rips and couldn’t be used. Jacuzzi area was dirty and the jets didn’t work. Just overall mediocre for being a resort and spending what we spent.

Love the pool area and family atmosphere

Lovely place to stay with amazing views of the Catalina Mountains. Loved the eco friendliness of this place too. Low water usage toilets, recycling bins and no wasteful little toiletries
2.0 / 5.0
The rooms smelled strange and had a bad odor. The carpet was all stained. The air conditioning was super noisy, walls were paper thin. Super unimpressive for the cost. Save your money and stay elsewhere.
