Hotel under construction
Listened yo construction and snelled Deisel entire trip while laying on beach

Just left Hilton Aruba. The hotel was ok. Location was perfect. Rooms were clean and staff were lovely.
There is a lot of construction going on so hard to relax by the pool or at the beach. Always construction noise and tradespeople around you.
Beds were also very hard.
If going to Aruba in the near future I would stay somewhere else simply due to the construction.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at the Hilton Caribbean Resort and Casino and it was fantastic. The hotel staff go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of in every way. Our room was beautiful, clean and the view of the Caribbean Sea was outstanding. The sunsets and the beach are amazing. Yes, there's construction going on daily but it didn't bother us at all. Just go to the beach, sit under a palapa, sip a Pina colada and enjoy the ambience. We met people from all over the world, went parasailing and tried a few restaurants. We also rented a car from TopDrive for 3 days (with beach chairs included) and went to Arashi, Baby and Eagle beaches. Visited Alto Vista Chapel, beautiful, and a few stops to Super Food. We had our anniversary dinner at Passions on the Beach (absolutely delicious) at sunset... stunning! Breakfast at the Laguna restaurant was phenomenal and drinks and music at the Sunset Bar were so much fun. Bugaloe bar (tons of fun and great food), the Bread Basket (fabulous morning coffee and breakfast) and watersports are just a few steps away. Can't wait to go back to see the new tower and beach bars/restaurants when they are completed. The Hilton never disappoints! Try them, you'll love it!

This was by far the worst it could possibly be. We arrived on the island on the 7 and I immediately went to Hilton to check it out because I own a timeshare on Aruba for 30 years. The road in front of the hotel looked like a war zone construction and barricade all over . I asked if I could cancel my reservation for Friday since it was under such construction. They said no. It gets worse they were building a new tower and drilled from morning until
Night Saturday Sunday and Monday the holiday included it was not relaxing at all I have pictures and videos. I felt like I was in manhattan. Management did not care and did nothing to accommodate

Vastly overpriced when over half of the resort is shut down for construction and the hotel entrance involves driving on plywood

My wife Ishwary and I came to Aruba on September 4th and returned yesterday back to the USA. During our stay we stayed at the Hilton, and I must tell you that our stay was made extremely comfortable, happy and memorable by the way your wonderful staff treated us. It was not that they were trying to be nice, but it became very natural for every one of them to treat the guests to the hotel with utmost respect.
I cannot single out any person because it appeared to be a collective effort by everyone involved …. TEAMWORK seems to be working perfectly well here. These are the wonderful people we met:
Dennise de Cuba – Front Desk
Aikelene Jones – Front Desk
Demani Heat – Front Desk
Djamal Jansen – Helped me with the printing of boarding passes.
Maria Medina – at the restaurant
Nadegs – Housekeeping
Their extreme kindness and genuine desire to help us made a memorable impression on us and we take this opportunity to wish success and happiness in every endeavor they undertake.
Best Wishes
Mahen and Ishwary

Lots of construction which will enhance the property once complete. Because of the construction one of the restaurants was closed which disrupted beach service

Lovely resort minus the construction. That’s the only real downfall. Wouldn’t mind coming back when construction is complete.

We did stay during construction. Hilton would have got 5 stars for prosperity. It would have been nice to know upfront. We loved everything about Hilton and its location. Hilton did a great job of being beach friendly on the Happy Island.
Cheers

The hotel right now is Renovating all areas, they shouldn’t charge as they Normally do, there is noice and signs everywhere.
And they should change towels, they look like paper

Overall the property was very nice. Our only issue was housekeeping never came to clean our room. We always had to call and have someone come. Also bar downstairs closed too early.
Other than that we had a great time.

It was under construction. Very noisy and dusty. Also some of the elevators weren’t working

Overall had a wonderful stay at the Hilton. Quick hit list of pros and cons.
Pros: Grounds are so beautiful! With every walkway there are so many places to take beautiful pictures. The beach was not crowded at all and gorgeous with silky white sand and turquoise water which made it very relaxing. The guest room and other areas of property had a modern yet tropical vibe. Resort is right on the strip so steps away the action.
Cons: Hotel is doing construction in multiple locations which I didn't realize when we booked. So be prepared for construction noise throughout day. I found the staff less accomodating then other resorts. It was clear the hotel was not fully booked...they wouldn't entertain a room upgrade even though only staying 1 night. Bought a bucket of beers at full price and wasn't told that within a half hour it would be half price for Happy Hour. Staff just overall felt less friendly then other places where I've felt more catered to.

Almost everything was fantastic. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast buffet was fantastic every morning and the sunset dinner by the concierge was our favorite moment. The only problem was elevator maintenance - one broke down while I was inside and in our new building, one was out. Otherwise a fantastic time and would absolutely stay again

The staff was very approachable, friendly, and helpful! Location is excellent and very walkable to many areas. I felt safe walking around with my 10-year-old daughter.
The construction was ongoing, but the noise did not bother me and my friends. They started opening up more facilities on July 5th weekend. We rented a car and the parking was closed at some sections but not much of an inconvenience.
We stayed in the Curacao tower, and the rooms definitely need updating. The room, bathroom, and sliding doors were so heavy. The sliding door to the balcony was hard to open. I actually got banged and bruised up a few times from the room and bathroom room doors closing so fast with the weight. The bathroom door location made it so tight to maneuver in and out. I hope this will improve during the ongoing renovation. Additionally, the elevators were not all fully functional during the stay. Sometimes, it was just one elevator, and then it started working better towards checkout. My friends heard strange noises at some point and thought they would get stuck.
I will stay at this hotel again when I return to Aruba, but at the newer towers. Hopefully, it is affordable.

A beautiful 5 day stay! Weather spectacular and the trade winds don’t disappoint. Hotel is under going renovation but other than some areas of construction noise I was easily distracted. Staff is incredible, friendly and always available for suggestions. Food trucks on the beach super fun alternative 8/10. Would have been 10/10 if not for the construction. I was told in advance though.

We did read about the construction, so it was our gamble. But we paid extra for a suite which was on the ground floor.
When we arrived we were charged an extra $1350 US for "hotel fees" which seemed a tad ridiculous.
The construction was all over, no access to main lobby, the lunch and bar spot beside the pool closed and being demolished, and of course the new unit they're building, which happened to be directly across from our rooms "patio" if you can call it that. The "patio" consisted of two chairs sitting on some rough patio step stones and was pretty ridiculous. Luckily I will say, the loud construction directly across from us actually was sound proofed fairly well and didn't bother us in the morning at least.
Room was out dated and setup very poorly, we had to move furniture around just to be able to lay together with my wife and watch some TV late at night.
Only 1 restaurant on property does both breakfast and dinner, was okay, but expensive for what it was. They have a food and drink truck setup near the beach to temporarily replace the lunch spot.
All this was disappointing for the price. The amount we had to spend to come here didn't seem to line up, you'd think a temporary price reduction while they finish their renovations would make sense.
Luckily though, right off the beach which is actually public ground, there is a nice bar right on the water which was good, and the ocean front cannot be beat. White sand and clear water ended up making us happy
