The hotel was nice. But the bathroom was terrible! We had a bathroom with a shower instead of a tub. And it was very inconvenient. The strip to keep the after in didn’t work, and the entire bathroom got flooded It took us almost an hour to clean all the water up and we had to get more towels from downstairs to help! On top of that, we couldn’t close the blinds in our room at all.

The hotel is nice and I stayed there once before. The previous visit I stayed in a 2 queen room and the living space and bathroom was much bigger. The shower and bathroom area are tiny.

When leaving was told by the woman checking me out that it was done thru a 3rd party and she cannot give me a receipt. This was a business trip, so I reserved on Expedia but paid at the hotel. She refused to give me a receipt even though she was charging my credit card. So,I left and called and told her to email me a receipt. SHE DIDN'T APOLOGIZE FOR HER MISTAKE!!!!

The evening shift front desk person was difficult to work with and shifted any issue on to the Hotel.com. They did change our room to a less traffic area to make it easier to sleep. We paid for Continental breakfast which was not being offered. Was given a coupon to make up the lack of a hot breakfast, which was not acceptable.

Our room was dirty with a dried contact lense and 2 tags from clothing on the floor. There were hairs on the bed and a clump of hair in the shower drain. The front desk had the room recleaned and said they would credit some of the room back to our card. The next morning, after opening yogurt, we were told there were no spoons to eat it. The spoons were ordered and would be in sometime in the afternoon. We then got a muffin since we could not eat the yogurt. She did say she would not charge us for the yogurt. We stayed at this hotel in February and had a good experience which is why we chose to stay there again. I’m doubt we will stay there again in the future.

The room was find and the location was very convenient. The check in person was not knowledgeable of how to check in a person with a credit card. Rather than trying to find a solution at 12 am, we called our mother in law who came in her pajamas to run her credit card, explain to the lady the machine wasn't working, and that there is no pin to a credit card, there is a security code - very different terms. She needs training desperately. Once we got into the room it was ok.

The staff was courteous and the property was pleasing. However, the cleanliness of the room was lacking. Although it was not excessively dirty, it was evident that the shower and bathroom had not been thoroughly sanitized after the previous guest's departure.

Hotel is nice. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom toilet paper figure was hanging off the wall and there was minimal toilet paper. Bathroom shower signs of wear and tear. I would stay here again but not for this price.

Below what I would expect for the price. Carpet was either poorly or not vacuumed. Broken toilet paper roll holder. Overall cleanliness was ok. Bedding really old and way broken down, needs refresh.

Check in was horrible. They didn’t have us in the system even though I showed them our reservation and confirmation. The front desk worker had to go speak with her manager about the situation which took 30 minutes total. Also charged $100 for an “incidental fee”, which I’m supposed to be refunded for but seems unlikely. I will be calling if the money doesn’t not return to me.

The hotel is new, clean and eco friendly. The room is pretty small but the bed that we slept on was comfortable. The location is good in Westerville being close to restaurants stores and a lovely residential area. The service was average and the hotel had a rule that was disappointing which is the 25$ fee they charge for early check in. I had to request something twice each request being on a separate day before I received what I needed for our room. Half of the staff were cordial and the other half were not very cordial. The climate control in our room was difficult to figure out and there were no instructions anywhere to be found for that or any other devices in our room. The sink in our bathroom didn’t drain very well and kept filling up every time we had to use it.

Everything was fine except that: a) the fitted sheet didn’t fit the mattress, which was annoying, and b) the hallway was painted the color of a bad trip. Otherwise excellent.

The first room we were given smelled like dogs and there was a dog continuously barking across the hall…. We were not traveling with a pet. The second room we were given did not smell much better. Will not be staying at Aloft again.
