Check in was horrible! They couldn’t find our reservation and when I showed the info on my phone they said I had the dates wrong. They were not wrong. Then they found us and told me I said my last name wrong!!!!! The room was ok. It was missing pillows and towels! We were on the Milwaukee Street side which was loud from bars and cars. There was no room service menu so we were not aware that the hotel had room service. The restaurant was a nightmare with horrible service! We went for breakfast on Sunday and it wasn’t very busy. It took 1.5 hours to get eggs. We couldn’t get coffee refills because we couldn’t find the wait staff. They put the cream in before they deliver to the table. My husband takes his coffee black and was forced to drink it with cream as no one came back to the table. It was all around a terrible experience! This makes me sad considering how expensive everything is. Also had to pay $10 a day for WiFi when they advertised free WiFi. The only thing that works great there is the valet service. $40 a day plus tip. They work super hard and are on top of their game! Not sure I would stay there again considering the total experience! Definitely not worth $300 a night.

We booked a queen double (paying 565!), and when we arrived at the hotel they said there was a leak in the room and had to put us in a king - no more doubles available. They said they would bring a cot(s) for our children, only to arrive back later that night, no cots were delivered and when we called the front desk they informed us they did not have any available. The worst night of sleep on the floor in a hotel - has to be the grossest thing ever! Do better!

Greg and check in was phenomenal! After a long day of delayed flights and my luggage being missing, they were exceptional on check in. The room is gorgeous and clean! My service at the hotel restuarant was great as well, Shaun was an excellent server and the steak was delicious! I didn't have my luggage, but they sent me up a robe and slippers. Seriously 10 out of 10!

Amazing rooms, in a great location. Outside noise comes through the windows all night long, and the heater in the room sounds like someone’s trying to break in, but other than those the hotel is very nice! Would definitely stay again

We came from AZ for the Harley Davidson festival. The Metro was a perfect location near Veteran’s Park. The associates at the Hotel were super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Arika at the front desk helped me get my Harley event tickets printed from my email. She was super friendly, has a great smile/personality and I was so happy the next morning when she was working so we could let her know how much we appreciated her.

Great room to stay and work in with cool Art Deco touches. Rooftop experience and staff across the house were great. Smooth parking experience. I'd stay again for sure.

Enjoyed my stay at the hotel metro! Stayed during summerfest, and it was very convenient to walk to and from the festival grounds!

The suite was very modern and clean. The staff was very professional and courteous including valet service. I arrived late so I didn't get to use the on site bar but the mini bar was fully stocked.

The hotel was a renovated older building. I liked the mixture of the new and the old. Very classy upsacle with everything you need. They have a lot of nice restaurants within walking distance. Great stay!

Loud sounds above our room all night. Sounded like a machine or something above us making a pounding sound on the floor. Couldn’t sleep as a result.

Only stayed one night for business, but the rooms were big, clean, nicely decorated. Area felt safe, my coworker and I walked around in the evening and felt comfortable. Close to the river walk and shops.

The room was spacious and quite well appointed. Casting to TV worked great.
The bathroom toliet, in 305 is oriented quite inconveniently if not, incorrectly. Smoke detector has a bright blinking green light, somewhat distracting when going to sleep.

AC did not work. Room was 78 degrees even though set on 65. Tried front desk - no answer. $300 night for the room. Unacceptable.

I liked the color selection compared to when I stayed there a few years back. However, the food service and limited ordering in restaurant. Staff unwilling to answer questions etc. not a great experience......

Well don't stay in room 300 at least. They have an old furnace and it aounds like someone is banging pipes with a wrench at at all hours of the day and night. Literally horrible sleep.

I picked a window view room and was told they don't have a window view for the bed selection I picked it actually looks at a parking lot. The only reason I picked this hotel.

Beautiful spacious room, clean. Restaurant closed, no room service, no mini bar, no vending machines, most nearby restaurants closed. Attendant went to the employee only area and got me a can of coke. Other than that, water only.

Beautiful experience! The suite was beautiful, the staff , the view. I really enjoyed myself. Wish there was a pool or hot tub or something though.

The hotel room itself was very nice and the hotel lobby and restaurant were visually pleasing. My only issue is that when we checked in, it was never mentioned to us that you needed to request housekeeping in order to get your room cleaned/new towels. So we came home from a long day to an unclean room and when we approached the individual who checked us in, there was never an apology. I completely understand the need to request during covid, but information should have been provided during check in, on a card in the room or emailed to us. Lastly, the room had a radiator that made an incredibly loud banging noise. All in all, we had a great stay, but I wouldn't jump to stay here again next time we're in Milwaukee.

Hotel wasn’t as nice as I would have expected. The tv remote was also awful!

The rooms were very spacious and clean. The lobby bar had a great ambiance and the bartender Francine was so friendly and made some amazing cocktails.

Absolutely amazing. Beautiful boutique hotel. Spacious rooms. Exquisite decor. Wonderful staff. I can't wait to come back.

Hotel was clean and comfortable but our initial room on the 2nd floor was NOISY. The old heating pipes in the walls make a ton of noise. When we called the front desk to complain they moved us to the 4th floor which was better but light sleepers would still be bothered by the noise. The front desk seemed to be very aware of the issue.

I asked the lady who checked me in if there were bathtubs, and she at first said no... then I asked her again, “are you sure there aren’t bathtubs?” She then admitted they had them but they were in rooms that went for over $200 plus tax, like they were out of my price range... boy did she miss an up-sell.
Once I got checked in to the, “non-bathtub room,” I heard this clanking coming from the heaters under the window... I thought there was someone hammering pipes and by evening time, the hammering would end... No it didn’t end... by 2:00 AM I could not handle the ever increasing clanking, and called down to the front desk and asked for a room change... the night person was very nice, and got me into a new room a few floors up, where the clanking was very faint.
Over all, not a great experience... I’ve stayed at this hotel 20-30 times over the years prior to its recent remodel, and felt like the hotel has since lost all of its soul and personality. If I stayed again, it would be in summer, and I would hope the staff loses the attitude.
