Beautiful hotel in Ouarzazate. I wish we had stayed longer!

Sophisticated well run hotel

This hotel is a bit overrated in my opinion. Pool area is ok-ish, found glass on the floor, and many bird droppings around the pool (this was a bit disgusting as it was then mixing with the pool water). Standard rooms are super small. Deluxe rooms much better. Breakfast was too expensive (35€/person). There is not much parking spots and cars have to stay outside (but it feels quite safe). Hotel store remained closed during the 2 days we were there, and access to the spa is limited. Service could be better for a 5-star hotel. Food at the pool was good (albeit with European prices). Ouarzazate in general is not that great, but it is super clean for a city in Morocco.

Thank you very much for the warm reception.

The staff was Moroccan personable, the room was clean and comfortable. All in all, a good, upscale place to stay. Didn't eat there because dining was considerably overpriced.

It’s a lovely property very grand with two restaurants. But from my experience, the food is subpar.

The bed was amazing. Best night’s sleep in years. Very clean casita style room. Dinner at Tabla Pizza was excellent. Staff very friendly and competent. The hotel grounds are lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the hotel room 209 for 3 days. It seems like this hotel is use for one night stay by tourist/visitors visiting the area by buses and move on to another are next day. We tried to purchase USD from the Reception, but it was too difficult because the staff member could not say the exact conversion rate. Day 2 and day 3, towels in our bathroom were not replaced even though it was on the bathroom floor. Last day, towels were on the rail were dirty. We noticed that the cleaners weren’t even vacuum cleaned the room floor. We had to report several Health & Safety issues to the reception, but most of the reception staff gave us the feeling that could not understand what we were saying in English... If the hotel need long staying visitors from UK, they may need to consider the way they treat the customers much better than now. There were only one or two staff members could speak English therefore, we had issues on day 2 & 3 of the stay however, the room 209 we stayed was a large room with a beautiful toilet/bathroom. Day 1, reception staff member (Amalal Soufiane) was very kind and pleasant. He was the only person who could speak to us in English that day and it made a big difference when compared to other days. We were so pleased to see him working after that in the reception area. Last day, we managed to speak to the Hotel General Manager and he seems to be very welcoming, kind and understanding therefore, we do sincerely hope he will make the required adjustments...

It was a short yet lovely stay. Polite and very helpful staff from the GM to the bartender.
3.0
Overpriced for what it offers and unhappy front desk staff. We stayed here one night. The facilities are dated and need to be upgraded, the staff isn’t very helpful and there’s nothing special about the property.

My was not feeling well, and staff at breakfast went to all lengths to accommodate her needs. Very attractive grounds and pool.

Wonderful, beautiful 5 star hotel. Great service

Overall very disappointing given the cost
The hotel caters to large bus tours which detracts significantly from any charm it would have.

This hotel was really nice considering it’s in the desert and quite remote. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very good. The pool was lovely and the dinner was good. Considering the location and it being in a remote village in Morocco I was very impressed. The air conditioning is very loud and I didn’t have a restful sleep but overall it met my expectations and was a nice hotel to stop in on my way to the desert.

Food is terrible and the staff tried to overcharge us. Nice grounds with a great pool for the family.

The hotel was very modern and extremely comfortable, with great service.
Very comfortable bed, nice and quiet, great shower, quite luxurious furnishings, and large room.
Only two things wrong - a bit TOO Western (perfect for some, but I'd rather have adventure), and the cappuccino was sweetened glop from the type of machine that also makes hot chocolate.
I'm not fussy - the espresso was half-decent, so I simply added some milk to that, but a fancy hotel at a fancy-hotel price should have good coffee.
Still gets a good rating overall (but would have been a 5* if the coffee had been good).

Nothing but bus loads of tourists. Crowds of people everywhere pushing and shoving. Like a Las Vegas hotel. Room was noisy and had ants in the bathroom. Food was poor at best.

Was nice 30 years ago. Seems untouched since. Old world charm , nothing in surrounding area. Just a stopover from the desert to Marakesh. Bus loads of tourists use as sleepover

Great location, it was a very comfortable hotel with obliging staff and most modern comforts. Only criticism is the gym which was very neglected. Squeaky treadmills, only a handful of random free weights/plates, and unusable weight machines that looked 20+ years old that were long broken. A number of guests shared my frustration when we couldn’t do a real workout. Would recommend they either upgrade/replace all the broken equipment or shutdown the gym and stop advertising it as a facility as it only disappoints. Otherwise the hotel was very charming and would recommend.

I was shown to a huge suite which had a massive bedroom, separate sitting room and a large bathroom. The bedroom had a hard bed, a desk & a dressing table. The bed was made up with a duvet. There was a safe attached to the bedroom cupboard. There was a bright light on air conditioning unit which lit up the room at night which was a little annoying. The bathroom was quite well lit but didn’t have a shaving mirror. A weak hairdryer was provided as well as some large towels. There was a separate toilet. The sitting room had two sofas (which could be turned into bed if you were staying with family) as well as a fridge. There were 2 TVs but they only had CNN & BBC World. There was a small outside terrace with a small table & 2 chairs. The Wi-Fi was weak especially at peak times. The buffet breakfast included all the usual choice as well as freshly cooked eggs. It was easy to park right outside the hotel. There was a nice pool area. There were several restaurants in the hotel and I ate in the Italian restaurant, whilst the food wasn’t particularly authentic it was okayish it was a welcome break from tagines! The staff were friendly and helpful. All the rooms/suites seem to be in two storey cottages so it might be worth asking for a room near reception if you want to avoid a long walk.

Amazing stay again. Beautiful pool and great food

Hotel is dated and could use a facelift. Room was ok not great. Be aware that if you get an upstairs room, the stairs are narrow and irregular. Not for anyone unsteady on their feet.

Truly a five star with service and luxurious property. Check in felt a bit rushed but everyone else was very helpful. Fitness facilities were a bit worn and I would extend the hours earlier (officially) as there were already people working out there with no issue prior to opening hours.

Great hotel. In the off season, it was a little quiet. I would call this place great for a family with kids, for sure. Its a little oasis in the middle of a working city.

The hotel is much larger than the smaller inns in the area, which means there are large groups of tourists and the property can feel crowded. But the functionality of temperature control and hot water was reliable. The rooms are clean and modern, but lack charm and are overpriced. Note that breakfast is NOT included and is extremely expensive. There are some cute places right across the street that are a much better value.

Overnight stay before going into the desert. Practical and comfortable.

Our room was very spacious. We were given an upgrade with our Expedia VIP benefits. We were very tired so got room service which was easy and delivered in reasonable time. The four seasons pizza was quite good. Has beautiful pool area.
