They over charged me for a breakfast that should have been free !!! $71.00 for a continental breakfast really

My room key did not work when I tried to get back into the facility through the garden terrace. It didn't work in the elevator either. The jacuzzi was not operating . The remote control in the room was not working either. The coffee machine didn't work either. Very poor experience. Definitely disappointed. This is the second time staying at a Marriott Bonvoy and things did not work properly. My last stay was at the facility in Pleasanton California and things didn't work there either.
I won't be staying at a Marriott Bonvoy facility again.

Lovely pre-cruise stay.

We have stayed here many times before. This time the rooms seemed dated. The floors were not clean. The breakfast was totally cut back from what it used to be. Definitely has dipped in quality over the years.

Great pool. Very clean and beautiful lobby. Staff was amazing!

Staff were awesome. Property is convenient to airport and cruise port.
8.0 / 10.0
The rooms need attention and desperate need for remodeling. Showers/bathrooms are from the 80s
4.0 / 10.0
A hurricane disrupted the power supply temporarily during checkin. The elevators were out of order so we had to carry our luggages up to the third floor. Room was rather dated but comfortable enough. Breakfast buffet was simple. There is a shuttle service to the cruise terminal e dry 30 minutes on cruise departure dates at $8 per person.

We are so glad we stayed at the Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Marina Hotel! Gigi at the front desk was AMAZING! She provided excellent customer service and is chiefly responsible for making our stay so great! Thank you! We'll be back!

Great location for convention Center. It has many options for dinner option near-by within walking distance. Hotel is clean, do shows a little bit of age in the furniture. Overall its a nice hotel to stay at.

Floor construction above our floor. Very loud noise throughtout the day time. No prior notice given. Complained but staff didn't do anything for us.

The front desk service is inconsistent. The front desk lady who checked me in was rude. She was busy arguing with her colleagues and didn’t greet me, didn’t tell me where is my room, how to get to the elevator, etc. On the other hand, when we checked out, the gentleman at the front desk was very polite and pleasant!

Great convenient hotel with nice pool for day before cruise. Easy shuttle service and very friendly staff

Close to a few shops and restaurants and port
8.0 / 10.0
Very reasonable property not too far from the beach, and the FLL airport. The bed looked tired but everything else including the dining, drink options with a great staff makes up for everything. Recommended

Very close to the airport and very comfortable

the staff needs further training. I left my suit jacket over in the room but there is 'passing the buck' game going on instead of contacting the staff who went in for house keeping on the day of my check out.
front desk staff keeps on repeating like a parrot - 'we are not responsible - you left your stuff behind'
I feel there is no credible and prompt internal communication to find out the facts of the missing article of clothing. they have yet to take any action besides just repeating that they are not responsible

Conveniently located near the port and not far from the Brightline Train Station. Also, provides shuttle service to your cruise ship for a nominal fee. Nice pool and hot tub, comfortable room.

Elevator broken, mediocre location and in need of major renovation. The staff were exceptionally nice.

Great precruise hotel needs renovation/upgrading. Experienced keycard issues which wasn't great 😕. Early morning noise from surrounding rooms that were being renovated which was not made know to us at check-in especially since we were staying in one of the mire expensive rooms too not cool...

The room had stains on the carpet it was old and has been painted and. Testily not a 5 star hotel .. far from it in very disappointed in the room to say the least
Way way way overpriced for what you get and how old and out dated the renovation of this old hotel is
This is not a 5 star hotel

Nothing special about this hotel. Pool located next to heavy, noisy traffic area. Poor lighting in room.

Everything is great, the property is a little old but it can be comfy.

Was a great experience. Near ports for cruiseships, $9/pp shuttle to the port, easy to arrange once present at hotel. Enjoyed the pool. Walgreens across the street for any 'sundries' or pre-cruise needs. We didn't get to walk much but there seems to be some ice cream and shops nearby

I paid nearly $400 to stay close to my Port which worked best for my party & me. We ate at the hotel several times & drank lots of beer, tips & mixed drinks. I asked about free breakfast & since I'm not a Marriott member we have to pay for breakfast. This is our 2nd year staying here & it will be our last!

Nice hotel. Very convenient to airport and convention center. Lots of shops in walking distance. Bar and restaurant staff could have been friendlier.

Very expensive for little return. No complimentary parking or breakfast or anything

The service in the bar and restaurant was extremely slow for food. The food was good quality once it arrived, but one of the older servers is clearly disinterested in her position, and is not hesitant to let it be known. The rest of the staff we encountered were professional and friendly.

The location was convenient and close to restaurants and beach. The lobby was nice, open and airy. The pool had debris in it, leaves at the bottom. The jacuzzi had a green tone and low on water. Appeared unclean; lacked chlorine and young children were in there without supervision of their parents and staff said nothing. The biggest problem for me was that on our last night there, we came back to the room after all day at the beach, tired and sweaty, and our key did not work. We tried several times with both keys. I went down to the desk and the woman there (cannot remember her name), said she reset it and told me there is a phone at the elevator upstairs to call from next time. Well, I went back to the room and it still didn't work. So I called from upstairs hall and she said she would send maintenance. So we waited for maintenance. He came and couldn't fix it right then, because it needed a battery. So we were displaced form our room for about 45 min. Went to sit out at the pool until it was fixed. Again, frustratingly, another child in the jacuzzi. And the parking was too expensive! All in all, just an average stay.

People are great, front desk staff were amazing. Smiles and love all around. Conveniently near Port Everglades!

For the price this once very nice hotel was showing its age. Vinyl furniture was peeling, paint and decor looking very aged. The room was average size, extremely dark and it was difficult to see where our items were in the room because of bad lighting and almost black furniture. The front door staff were awesome and very helpful.

Heading out for a cruise, just a one night stay. Good location, Boatyard restaurant close by with good food and drinks. The hotel room is definitely dated. Beds were ok. Feel like the price was a little high.
