The only single negative point is the cold swimming pool, for all other are on top.

Room was available early but we found out that the water was not working, so no Tlt or wash facilities for a while, it did come on later, updates were different from everyone we spoke to but apart from this, a good hotel
4.2
One day i have reached the room and it was not cleaned and the housekeeper is available only till 6 pm

Great location across from central station!and 5 min walk to Oktoberfest. Friendly check in upon arriving from a long trip and a quiet room was all I needed .
4.2
Although this is a nice hotel in a great location for the centre and transport, the room was not so great. The only request I made was for a high floor. We were initially lucky to be given an upgraded room - however, this was a double rather than the twin I had booked (sharing with my sister). We had to request that we be moved to a twin, but this meant a downgrade and it seemed like they had nothing left for us, so we were eventually given a room which required housekeeping late in the evening, clearly a room which is left until last. It was right at the front of the building on the busy (noisy) main road and on the lowest floor possible. Some building works going on nearby meant an early loud wake up call on the first morning. Such a shame after booking so far in advance and being given an upgrade to begin with, which of course we really appreciated, but we had booked a twin for a reason and wanted our own space!

Great location, friendly staff and room was very clean. Situated nicely- can walk to Oktoberfest in about 10 mins and Old Town Munich in 10 mins (opposite direction l). Also right across the street from train station making travel easy!
4.2
The best place you can stay in Munich.
4.2
Lovely rooms!
4.2
It was a very nice stay
4.2
Very conveniently located across from the train station. We had an inner room overlooking the courtyard. If you want to be close to all the main sites in the city, this is ideal.
4.2
Good location as the train station is just the opposite. You only have to take about 15 minutes walk to the meeting place of most of the local tours. With a few nice restaurants nearby, i can find something to eat easily even after 9 pm as many shops close at 8Pm.

The property had a telephone in the room that didn’t work. The conditioner pump did not work. You couldn’t get the air conditioner to cool the room. When I was checking in, another customer was asking for a room change because it was too hot in his room.
4.2
Very loud doors, I could hear other doors on the hall during my entire stay. The A/C is fine.

The main problem was the middle-aged blonde female staff member waiting at the entrance of the breakfast room. I couldn't read her name from her badge, and I didn't ask for her name to avoid showing her any respect, but my description should make it clear who I am referring to. The reason I gave the hotel two stars overall is because of this employee. On the morning after our first night, my spouse and I went down to the breakfast room. The woman at the entrance asked for our room number. When we said we were in room 381, she told us that our reservation was for a single room with breakfast. I showed her the reservation confirmation email on my phone. She said that her records showed a single room with breakfast. I told her to check with the reception and we went into the breakfast room together. The next morning, the same employee asked for our room number again. I said we were staying in room 381. She said the same thing: our reservation was for a single room with breakfast. With a sneaky smile on her face, I realized she wasn't interested in solving the problem caused by her hotel's system. After breakfast, I went to the reception and explained the situation. The reception staff told me that our original reservation was indeed for two people with breakfast. I told the receptionist that there was an issue with the records kept by the woman at the entrance of the breakfast room. The receptionist said they would look into it and remove the extra breakfast charges.

Super spacious room with nice bed .
AC was not to good so they provided fan for circulation which served purpose .
Nice breakfast
Wow location … right near the main station hbf.
Loads of taxi in front and everything was ok .
Surprisingly lot of middle eastern people in the hotel .
Garden facing .
Small problem but I won’t reduce star rating
1. Housekeeping did not clean the room until 1:30
2. I tried many calls between 12:30 - 13:30 no one from housekeeping to room service to front desk answered . Later they said , they were affected by the malware attack , which I trust might be an issue as they are saying phone lines are also through Internet 😤
3. The revolving entrance door never worked and its pain to enter with luggage . No one cared about this from the hotel side .
4.2
Lengthy check in, after 45 min had to get luggage myself from front desk
Room had a dirty towel upon arrival, shower would overflow on the floor requiring multiple towels after each shower to dry the floor; AC was not cooling enough; they offered a new room but we inly had one night left so why bother ; good location next to train station but that’s it
4.2
The location to train station is a good option if you are moving by rail. If you are driving location I would not recommend. The area around is not the best move just two blocks closer to the old town the area gets much nicer.
4.2
Hotel was good and comfortable, however, the A/C did not work as well and even after calling for some help, they weren't able to make the room any colder.
4.2
Great location - very centrally located
4.2
Very good hotel at a reasonable price, just across the street from the Hauptbahnhof. Of course, being close to the train station has its drawbacks: it is not the cleanest of neighborhoods. But it is very convenient and the hotel itself is quite comfortable. The breakfast buffet is without surprise: international with a touch of Bavaria. The staff at the bar is friendly. The inside courtyard is a great place to have a drink at the end of the day.

Awesome stay great hotel bar and breakfast

Great place

I think the services and amenities have decreased drastically over the years
4.2
Overall it was pleasant stay for me and my famy

This hotel was perfect for our last night in this area. It was right across the train station which we needed as we were taking the train to Frankfurt. This hotel was within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the Der Munchner Dom church (beautiful). I actually liked this area personally better than Marienplatz (too busy).
4.2
Shower head was broken. Bathroom flooded
4.2
The hotel had nice rooms, good restaurant and friendly staff. I would stay there again.
4.2
Convenient to train station and easy to get taxis. Walking to sites was easy.
4.2
Great location to train station and city center! Nice rooms, very spacious for Europe. Houskeeping fantastic! Nice pool, courtyard and bar!!
4.2
They did not have the facilities noted on the website and we were very disappointed. When brought up to staff they were rude.
Room was not as shown at all
Overall extremely dissatisfied considering the price should have stayed somewhere else
4.2
It is a nice location just across the central station and walking distance to center. But hotel needs an upgrade in a lot of areas
4.2
The only thing 5 star is the basement pool and spa and the ground floor public areas which were refurbished. The rest is crumbling 90s standard with new bathrooms (scale marks everywhere in our case).
We did not have hot water in the room and were moved to a lower standard room. Took a total of 2 hours to pack, move, unpack and we were late for my partners 50s dinner.
No compensation offered except two free espressos at the bar.
How generous when I paid eur 300 a night and got a downgrade and no hot water for a day.
Train station nextdoor which means good connections but antisocial behaviour all around and it’s also a construction site involving noise (windows let through most of it)
And Le Merdien, please don’t comment on this review. You already sent me an impersonal standard message when your system asked me to review my stay and I gave the same feedback.

Ok

The hotel in general was very good. We had breakfast and was delicious. We also used the sauna and the pool. Cons: there were not enough towels to use at the pool and on Tuesday the room service arrived at 5:30pm. It was too late to make the room so we had to skip it.
4.2
Good hotel located by the Haubtanhof station in Munich.
20 minutes walking to Marienplatz.
4.2
The hotel has a wonderful position. You can join the centre in 10 minutes walk or you can get every means of transport to go everywhere. The superior room with garden view is silent. The breakfast is outstanding. The swimming pool a bit cold but very nice. The only negative thing is the room tv without english movie channel or at least one italian channel.
4.2
Good hotel.
Positives:
Gym
Breakfast
Location
Negatives
Rooms very dark (no main light)
Swimming pool dirty.
Overall enjoyed my stay and would return

I've stayed in many hotels in Munich, near the train station and this one is the best- very comfortable, clean, great amenities and great location. The breakfast is top notch and so is the spa. They have the most amazing masseuse from Thailand, and she incredible. I'll definitely be staying here when I'm back in Munich.
4.2
Hotel staff very nice. Location was excellent

This Hotel was Fantastic. Right across the street from the train station, walkable to everything. The staff from the from the front door and beyond were the best. I will stay here again and HIGHLY recommend!
