It was convenient to the main train station, this probably justified the high price. Service and staff excellent, rooms a-bit sparse compared to website pictures. Also rooms on street side noisy until 0130 for the street trains, starts back up at 0500.

During my stay at the Eden Wolff, money and a bracelet went missing. I didn’t initially report the money because I had traveled the day before and thought I may have lost it.
On the second day of my stay, while at breakfast, a bracelet was gone when I returned from breakfast. I knew then that the money had been stolen, not lost. Neither had been in the safe, but the “do not disturb” light for my room had been on both days.
I reported the thefts to the hotel and they were appropriately concerned. That evening I was told that the cameras outside my room had only shown the cleaning crew entering my room, but said their staff are highly trusted long-time employees. In short, the hotel wasn’t taking responsibility.
The next day I quietly stayed in my room hoping to catch the thief. Sure enough, an old disheveled cleaning woman who I suspected might be entering my room during breakfast, faintly tapped on my door and within seconds, attempted to sneak in unannounced. When she saw me she knew she had been caught and quickly left. I went to the front desk to prove this was the connection to the thefts, but again they refused to acknowledge any correlation between the two. Their suggestion was that I take my case to the police.
I stay at multiple overseas hotels every year for weeks at a time. Never, not even once, has anything been taken during those stays.
There are nicer hotels in Munich at comparable prices which offer a safe environment for you and your belongings.

Hotel was very nice. breakfast food was excellent. Stall were friendly. My only comment is that the rooms were all small, bordering on Tiny and the room has very dim illumination .

Very convenient and spacious room. But WiFi is very slow and it matters a lot to me. I used my phone for the online meetings during the stay.

Nice room, almost completely paneled with wood for alpine like flair. Comfortable bed. Clean and good bathroom. Temperature control was somewhat difficult and most of the time it was a bit too warm in the room (winter temps outside). Decent breakfast with the usual selection plus some local classics.

The Eden Hotel Wolff is generally great - I have stayed there many times over the years, though this time, it fell well below my expectations. I did not sleep at all. The cause was a broken pump to the air conditioning unit. The broken pump was like an alarm going off for c. 10 minutes at a time, every half hour throughout the night.

Room was very small and not like the pics. However well located and walkable to marienplatz but a slightly seedy area. Has a nice restaurant though

The property is very nice inside. Rooms were clean, the staff were friendly. There’s a nice bar in the lobby.
It is however very close to the Central Rail-station Station. That is conviennent, but not particularly nice. There’s a lot of noisy pedestrian activity in the area immediately surrounding the hotel.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced in a hotel. I travel 150+ nights a year. I was told that I could not possibly expect service or assistance in English and that everyone only spoke German. The receptionist was offended for me even asking for someone to speak English and acted entirely surprised for people in a hotel next to the train station to speak a language besides German. This hotel has now been placed on my company's blacklist.

We had a great stay. Hotel is across the street from the train station, but we never heard any street noise. We had a spacious room, close to all amenities and a short walk to the pedistrian area of the Mariplatz. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again!

The hotel was quite nice and especially convenient for traveling. I only stayed one night but quite enjoyed the sauna and breakfast buffet. Staff were courteous and polite. The amenities were very clean and inviting.

It's a really nice well maintained clean hotel right across from the train station so it makes it very convenient to get around. Also it's a very short walk to old town.

The hotel is located next to the main train station, which makes it very convenient, but also a little noisy and gritty!
Always felt safe though, and the hotel itself feels like an oasis once inside.
We had a room facing the station, and the noise level was actually not bad, very good quality windows and insulation.
The rooms are big and comfortable, only complaint, no coffee or tea making facilities in the room.
Perfect hotel for a 2 day visit to Munich, with a beer garden within a 7 minute walk, and the centre around a 15 minute walk.
The tram stop is also outside the hotel which is very convenient, and the airport bus stops practically outside the hotel.

A good breakfast with friendly staff.

We booked this hotel for our stay in Munich due to its excellent reviews and location next to the central train station. Our flight from the US arrived early morning and the staff at Eden Hotel Wolff allowed us to check in around 9am, much earlier than normal check in time and without additional charge. Our room was clean and very quiet with excellent air conditioning which was needed during our stay. The shower water pressure was great and we loved having a double vanity in our bathroom. The bar area in the lobby was very nice and modern, and we thought it was a nice touch offering a free drink during our stay. The breakfast was wonderful, which included a self serve large buffet with eggs, meats, yogurt/granola, a cheese area, fresh fruit, a bread station, a juice/tea station, and some of the best coffee we’ve ever had. Our flight leaving Munich was canceled at the last minute and rescheduled the next day, so they were thankfully able to extend our stay another day and allowed us to remain in our same hotel room without moving. The staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever we needed, even telling us which train number to take to the airport. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it to others visiting Munich!
