Nice hotel, good location, enjoyable stay. Decent gym, pool ( closed on last day of our stay). Elevators were slow

A little expensive for what you get. Location is ok as it is within walking distance from the Ferry terminal. A few good bars and restaurants around. The room was not real clean, lots of hair in the carpet and saw roaches near the coffee machine. Elevators wait time unreasonable. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Good Hotel, convenient placement, good selection for breakfast and comfortable beds

Bad service again. Last visit from my side. After 20 years as a customer to Harbour Renaissance I am now a “lost customer”. Service slow - 20+ mins to check in at 9 pm in the evening… again… F&B service bad and overpriced… alternatives are better…

check in time was not at 2pm as indicated on the booking. I was not able to get a room until 6pm

Fix the lifts!!! Never experienced a hotel where you have to press every lift button on a single floor;
Takes considerable time to get from ground to your room given lifts stop on every floor.

Can be better

The huge advantage the Renaissance has is the provision of access to the glorious Grand Hyatt pool at a price point far lower than the GH itself. This (with a late check-out offer to 4pm) made it a brilliant stay for a sunny weekend. Elsewhere the room was fine but the shower was too low for anyone 5’7 plus, refurbs going on to other rooms on our floor suggest the widespread replacement of bath/shower combinations with walk in showers which would be welcome. Breakfast is excellent, one of the best in Hong Kong, room service was underwhelming though, great presentation and service but a cumbersome trolley and bland food.

A very business hotel next to the exhibition centre. Breakfast can be very busy.
Check out is at noon, which is great, albeit, when we were checking in, at 1145am, a huge crowd appeared to check out.
The barristers at the nearby Arts Centre are good enough to make good coffee in a good NZ or Australian cafe.

To me, the hotel looks better on paper than it was to actuall be there. The room was comfortable. The view of the harbor was amazing. Turn down service was nice especially for giving us extra towels and water for an evening shower. The soundproofing is pretty lowgrade, frankly. I could hear my upstairs neighbors moving their chair around and we mistook the neighbor's doorbell for our own frequently. Also, I waited for 27 minutes for an available elevator to go to breakfast cutting my eating time down to about 30 minutes. I most likely will not stay again. But I recommend it for others who are more business minded or don't need to relax so much.

Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel is an excellent property, and a beautiful hotel with a professional well caring staff, who will meet all your expectations. This a great hotel, so don't give it another thought, and book it now! You won't go wrong. The Zalis Family, Harding Township, NJ, USA, aka 'El Garbancito Espanol'

I really enjoyed my stay at the Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View hotel. It’s located a block south of Victoria Harbour and offers amazing views of the harbour and Kowloon. It also offers easy access to the elevated walking platform, which has easy access to Wan Chai pier, subway station and the neighborhood of Wan Chai itself. You’re also between a half hour to an hour walk away from a lot of the main tourist areas in Central which is handy. And the food and service are impeccable.

This is our second time staying in the hotel. Like many guests mentioned, some rooms have a moldy smell, probably due to the humidity of the city and the lack of good ventilation. But the staff try their best to make things work. We were helped by Marco who set us up for a room without moldy smell. We also requested a dehumidifier sent to the room which made a huge difference. The cleaning lady is also very professional and nice. Too bad we didn't get her name to recognize her here!

Excellent buffet breakfast / The room is little too small for that kind of hotel / Could put some feltre on the chairs to avoid the disturbance when someone move chairs.
Loved the view from the window.

Nice hotel with awesome views. There is scope for improvement in the waiting time for the lifts and also on the check in and check out period as lines get quite long.

I stayed there including my birthday. They were so kind to take care of my birthday and the hospitality was phenomenal. The best view in the Island, the best service in town. Thank you very much.

The shower room drain has clogged, so water has overflowed. So I couldn't take a shower for over 3 minutes. Also, the room was not that clean enough.

This is the first time staying in this part of Hong Kong. It was very convenient to the MTR train system which is ever expanding. Also very walkable to areas around central and Wanchai

I had such a fantastic stay in Renaissance, and could not recommend the hotel highly enough. Jacky on reception was so incredibly welcoming and made me feel so welcome, as well as giving me the best tips and advice on where to explore in HK. The rooms and views are beautiful, the location and amenities are excellent and service is top class. I will be sure to stay here again the next time I visit HK. Thanks to all, in particular to Jacky Chan.

Lovely hotel and the staff is very eager to please, and would be five start however we encountered a few that didn't speak any English. Not a problem, especially if the hotel is up-skilling staff, it was just that sometimes we had to ask a couple times for things.
The rooms are generally nice if a bit tired in some (scuffs on the walls and furniture) and great shower. One of the best features is that the pool is one that is shared with the Grand Hyatt and is very nice (pool staff were also outstanding).

As there was a convention, there was a queue checking in. Check in was smooth and the staff was helpful and pleasant.
The room was very good with a sea view.
The buffet breakfast had a very wide spread and the food was very good.
The hotel is near the MTR and taxis are easily available.
