Absolute great location - just about 10 minutes from the center, duomo etc. very nice and clean room and they were able to accommodate 3 ppl which is hard to find.

Our stay at Orto De Medici was amazing! We were greeted by friendly front-desk staff, we were early so they offered to hold our luggage. Our room was beautiful and had a balcony with a lovely sitting area. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Metropole. The staff were all so friendly and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. Our rooms were spacious and clean. We felt that Santa Margherita was a quaint town that doesn’t have the craziness like the towns of Cinque Terra. We ate at 3 or 4 different restaurants in town and all were very good. We would recommend Hotel Metropole and the town to our friends and family members.

This is the second time we have stayed here while visiting Firenze. It is a lovely hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. They even recognized our 2nd stay and we had a chilled bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us in our room. The breakfast is delicious with a wide assortment of food and, again, very friendly staff! We walked to and from the train station with some difficulty because of our luggage, but a very easy walk to il Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery, and the Ponte Vecchio. A little further, but well worth the hike, is the Piazzelle Michaelangelo with the most amazing view of Florence!!! Such a beautiful city and a wonderful hotel! I would definitely recommend a balcony room for the magnificent view over the rooftops to the hills of Tuscany.

I arrived early to check in, but the room wasn’t ready until well after their 2 o’clock deadline. To make matters worse, the room they assigned me had a terrible view, with the window facing directly at a concrete wall.

The garden isnt huge but still nice to have the space for breakfast or drink. The walk to the municipal parking is quite a distance but nice they allowed us to drop off luggage first. Room wasnt huge but what you expect for a city centre location. Very efficient air con and very clean and tidy. Thing we found out later in the trip, short walk to the large food market which has great food options.

Had to close the window with curtain during 3 day period. No view, it was hard to stay with the closed environment. Asked a room change but not granted. The guests should have known no view prior to booking becuase there are people who can't stand a room without view. Breakfast was good and a lady there was so friendly and professional.

Fantastic location within walking distance of all main attractions. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff provided excellent service, especially in the breakfast room. The only negative was the bed - it was so hard that we struggled to sleep our whole stay.

We had an amazing stay at the Orto Dei Medici Hotel. The staff is exceptionally polite and welcoming. The room was perfect and the hotel is located at a walkable distance from every attraction in Florence. Would come back anytime! Breakfast was included and delicious.

Staff (Francesco, Judith. And Ann) were lovely because they helped us with calling for taxis, calling restaurants ahead for reservations, storing our luggage and even providing us with cold popsicles in this heat wave); and the breakfast staff were also amiable. The hotel was right around the corner from San Marco and close to good dining restaurants like Accademie and Mangiafuego.

This hotel is beautiful! The room was immaculate and very spacious. The stay extremely helpful and friendly! There is a beautiful terrace to have a delicious breakfast with many food options and dietary concerns. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else and would highly recommend!

This was our second time returning to the hotel. We had an amazing stay the first time, but this time, we were assigned what looked like an accessible room for a handicapped person. The room was small and the shower booth was foldable. Otherwise I had a comfortable stay and the staff were nice but it just did not look like the pictures or the other room we stayed last year. We booked a standard room so we expected to look like what is shown in the pictures.
