This hotel was perfect! Everything from the room , staff, and the entire facility. We loved the room 403. My girl and I always go to Laguna for a day trip at least twice a year..We never stay overnight. This summer we decided to have a quick weekend getaway. We enjoyed the SawDust festival as always. We enjoyed walking to the local beaches and loved just relaxing in front of the hotel. Very calm and peaceful compared to the more popular beaches. I'm glad I decided on this hotel . I am pretty sure we're always going to book a weekend here at Capri Everytime we have a getaway weekend! The place is the best!

My husband and I wanted to escape the heat wave with a swimming pool and ocean, both of which Capri offered. We were so pleased with our choice! Our room was large with a comfy bed, a fridge and a microwave. I like that while they have more expensive ocean-view rooms, they also offer affordable smaller rooms with a pool view. It was perfect for us. It was also nice to park the car and just walk to shops and dinner. We'll be back!

I first want to say the property is very wonderful, great location, very clean, a block from the beach; unfortunately, there is no staff working on. They are at the main hotel up the street. Every time you need something you need to call the main hotel and they have to come down or you have to walk up the street to get it. The front door is locked and they give you a door code to get in. Not my favorite way to get in and out of a hotel. Also, they charge a resort fee. this is NOT a resort. It is a motel. I was told they have a Jaccuzzi at the other hotel again up the street that you can use and beach chairs where again nobody is working. I had to wash my own coffee cup becuase they didn't have any clean ones for coffee in the morning. Valet to park in the space i pulled in. I don't think so. VERY unreasonable and gougy. For the price of the room there is no need to extort people for extra fees. I refused this. That being said the staff is wonderful and does there best to be accommodating considering they are running back and forth up the street.

Listed as a boutique hotel, but it is much more than that. A beach hotel with a Mediterranean feel. Statues and fountains at every turn and there are many turns. The beach front view with a balcony is pricey but worth it. Just steps from your room is an area with tables to relax and enjoy the view. A few more steps and another level of the same and then just a few more steps and you’re on the beach. Chairs and umbrella’s await your arrival. Glorious!

We had an excellent stay. We highly recommend this hotel. Service was excellent. Beach is easy to access with towels, chairs and umbrellas. The beach is amazing. The hotel is in a great location close to the heart of Laguna Beach Downtown area. Our bed was clean and mattress was comfortable and the room was clean. We will stay here again!

The first room that they took us to had a portable air conditioner in the room and the outside sliding glass door would not close all the way. They did let us change to a different room but they still had portable air conditioners.

"Ocean View" room w/ balcony & lounger was so nice. The portable AC worked well, but was a bit loud. Appreciated the friendly and helpful staff and continental breakfast. Good location & close to shops and dining. Hotel is a bit old and bathroom was small, but comfortable bed & clean room.

We love the Capri and the People who make it so Great ! As we drove in we had to stop a minute while Bashir was helping a guest back out of a tight spot. We remembered Bashir and He remembered us. It was great seeing both Bashir and Nick Nick also remembered us and invited us to some afternoon refreshments in the lobby. We had a Great stay and seeing Nick and Bachir ! Samara also was pleasant and welcoming. Hoping to be returning soon ❤️❤️

Enjoyed the beach access and various ocean viewing balconies. Having beach chairs and umbrellas provided was excellent making it easy to come and go without having to take equipment back and forth with us which has become difficult at our age. It was really convenient. The room was plain but nice and clean and it was nice having a mini frig and microwave and a small sofa to relax on. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was clean and had so much character and charm. You can tell it is an older property, but they have updated it in all of the areas that are important. Furniture and facilities were all clean and amazing, beautiful shower etc. Views of the ocean from all of the decks and patios were amazing and felt very private. We loved having access to the beach as well.

This was our 3rd time staying at the Capri Laguna. Unfortunately, our room was just not up to the same standard as the previous rooms. The balcony was tiny and sloping, which made it feel unsafe. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. The bathroom was 2 feet from the head of the bed which left no privacy and was kind of gross. Also there was a couple random steps in the room that we tripped over during the night. The rooms also need to updated desperately. On the plus side, the view and location can’t be beat and the employees are friendly and helpful. Not sure we will stay here again. Especially for the high price.

We visited the Capri Laguna on our Honeymoon. The experience was amazing. The facilities had such character. Incredibly friendly staff who were so accommodating! The breakfast was great. We chose to utilize the many terrace areas on the beach for meals. The views were amazing. I really can’t praise the staff enough for how kind and helpful they were during our entire stay. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, all the standard amenities, friendly cleaning staff, fantastic location. We enjoyed multiple walks to the local shops and restaurants. We would absolutely recommend and visit again.

We had a 3-day stay at the Capri for a quick summer beach trip. We stayed in a pool view room. This hotel reminds me of a seaside European hotel. It’s not luxe and yet so relaxing and beautiful. The room we stayed in was pretty basic but it was very clean and housekeeping came by daily to sweep and tidy the room. It had a portable AC which worked very well and doubled as white noise, which helped with the construction next door. The location is perfection! An easy 15-20 minute walk to Main Beach/downtown Laguna or you can just hop on the free Laguna Beach Trolley which stops right outside the hotel. There are plenty of places to shop and eat within a couple of blocks of the Capri as well, in case you like staying on the quieter side of town. During the summer months there’s a small beach area right outside the hotel and they will set up chairs and umbrellas for you. The staff is very helpful and friendly as are the other guests. There are several communal areas (decks and terraces) to sit and enjoy the spectacular view. The hotel offers free parking and a decent continental breakfast which we enjoyed on our last morning. The only negative, which is temporary, is the construction going on at the hotel next door. If you enjoy sleeping in, you may want to ask for a room on the other side of the property.
