Staying at this hotel is great from a convenience perspective. We had a bit of trouble getting to the hotel when we first arrived - because it is inside the park, and we walked from the train station, we couldn’t figure out how to get to the hotel without tickets. I ended up having to stand in line for half an hour at Customer Service to get someone to let us into the park to get to the hotel. We definitely weren’t the only ones in this situation. The rooms aren’t ready until 3pm, and we were a bit early so once we were checked in they suggested that we put our bags in their luggage lockers ($) so we could go into the park. When we got to the luggage lockers however, there were none left so we couldn’t use the park until our room was ready. When we finally got to the room I was surprised to see 2 double beds and a window seat with a bare mattress instead of the 1 king & 2 twins I had booked on Expedia. Not sure if that window seat was meant to be a bed but there was no bedding for it. We were so tired from all the stress leading up to that moment that we just kept the room and didn’t talk to reception about it. HOWEVER, from that point on the experience was great. The rooms were clean and the location is amazing. Hot tip: the a/c is only on when there is a card in the slot so we used a random card from my wallet to keep it on while we were in the park (since our room keys are also park keys (so they needed to stay with us)).

I booked a room on hotels.com and made sure i booked a double room with x 2 king beds. When at the property the woman said it wasn't guaranteed? Why is that when i specifically booked for the reason of x 2 king beds. She was giving us a king bed and pop up bed for my 14 year old. Not good enough, so i spoke with manager why gave me what i booked originally. Once in the room, the air conditioning did not work as room at 28°, got moved but room was worse as there was a sewage smell. I complained again and nothing was done about it.

Great place to stay when visiting PortAventura as it’s directly adjoined to the park. Rooms are comfy and clean, they could do with a bit of updating and repair in places but nothing to be of concern. Pool is amazing and loved by the kids to cool off.

I would highly recommend PortAventura Resort. The rides are extremely enjoyable for all ages!!
The full board option is worth doing too. The varity of food restaurants allows you to try different food each day all week!!!

We came for the 2nd time after staying q0 days in Caribe hotel last year.
Safe parking and lots too do.
Tickets to Caribe should be included especially when staying here 25 days in a year.
Overall great parc

Room very tired and dirty in areas. Black mould in bedroom. Dirt and dust clogging bathroom fan. Mould and mildew around bath. Dirty grout. Staff at reception unfriendly. Positive is the location for access to park...for this it's perfect but definitely not a 4 star hotel

I requested two single beds, one for myself and one for a child. We were given One double bed. The food in the allocated restaurant was very good. The drinks and food in the park was very expensive. The best thing about our holiday was the fact that we were allocated (after enquiring) A disability pass for my child. This was the making of our holiday because it meant he did not have to queue for long periods of time in the blistering heat which he would’ve found impossible. The staff on the rides around the theme park were very professional. My child, who is disabled said his holiday was very good and he would like to do it again.
I agree.

Great location for the theme park, lovely relaxing pool for the hot afternoons albeit with quite strict rules, buffet breakfast and dinner were both great with good amount of choice. Luggage storage was €5 for a locker big enough for a large suitcase all day.

The hotel is very convenient for those who want to enjoy the adjacent port aventura park (this park is simply world class). The gardens around the property are meticulously maintained and the hotel looks fancy on the exterior. With regards to the room we had some issues: AC is not too powerful (it won’t go below 21C); our room smelled like damp and we had mold in the bathroom’s ceiling. We also ran out of toilet paper, called reception to ask for a replenish and nobody came over. Had to use a public washroom near reception.
Food options around are good. In general my family and myself had a good time at the hotel but don’t have very big expectations.
Thank you,

Had a great time, only issue we had was park opens early for hotel guests, but only a couple of rides so all you really do is join the uncharted ride line early and wait less. Hotel was lovely for us, great rooms overlooking pool, car park big but busy, full board package, breakfast and evening buffets good, meal in park lovely, so convenient to be on the parks doorstep

Picked the park to be near the theme park. It was so easy to nip in and out. Park tickets included in price on Day of arrival and departure. Breakfast option was choose a 40min slots and ran like clockwork. Very impressed.

Never again, we had to move and replace 3 rooms in our staying because of facilities problems ( poor air conditioner, bad smell from toilet). Everything you have to pay even to store your luggage in safe room, no cooler water to drink. No more then one hour eating breakfast or dinner ( the waiters will move you out)
All the hotel in bad shape, the pool not clean (hair, leafs)
After all that the hotel ignored from the Expedia status benefits if you have.

For access to the park you its amazing

Very helpful staff, lovely rooms with balcony & big bathroom. Small fridge in room kept drinks very cold. Both pools were very nice. Small cafe bar in hotel square served snacks & drinks, quite expensive but as is the whole of Portaventura. Short walk in to Salou from the hotel for supermarket & bars. Very large selection for breakfast. We found the general atmosphere of the hotel very good & easy access to pop in & out of the park. Only downside is the hotel is a bit of a maze! Cant wait to visit again

Pro:
Great location if you want to visit Portaventura or Salou. Great swimming pool.
Cons:
*Alot of mosquitoes, it is harder to sleep with the mosquitoes.
*It is very busy al over the place.
*Long queues every day everywhere. Long queues at dining, amusement parks, to grap lunches, aquaparc etc.
*Wifi is slow
* Small beds for 2 persons

We have been at same hotel 2 years ago. The service from the reception was excellent then but this time, they weren’t kind or helpful. It’s seemed like as they didn’t have time for you. The price for one night and half pension is too high and if you don’t get a good service for that price, it’s not worth to staying there! The instructions for how you can go to your hotel if you come from the train was so bad, we and many other people waited 2 hours in the park and with information to just go to the hotel and check in! There not gonna be a third time for us at this hotel!

The hotel and grounds are beautifully laid out with gorgeous plants and landscaping, so if you didn't feel like doing anything else, lounging by either of the pools was a treat.
The rooms were generously sized and came with a small fridge and very comfortable beds. The only thing that my wife and I felt could be an improvement would be a kettle or coffee/tea-making facility. Our breakfast wasn't until 10 am (you have to set a time slot) so waiting until then for a cuppa was sometimes frustrating. But that's a REALLY minor niggle!
Our 16 year old son and his friends all made the most of the extensive 1/2 board buffets which included paella, sushi, steaks, fresh salmon and plenty of other amazing food to keep everyone well fed.
Access to the park is straight past the Buffet Del Port restaurant, and you use your room key for entry – so don't forget or lose it. The park is open until 11 pm, with rides closing at 10.30 pm to allow for the evening parade and fireworks. The queues at night are much shorter and the park is beautifully illuminated, so you get more of an atmospheric experience.
The walk into Salou takes 20 mins. If you go to the beach, turn right and head away from the crowds. Alternatively, turn left and find the coastal walkway. Keep a look for the big colourful Salou letters!
Overall, this is a great family-friendly hotel and my wife and I would definitely return.

In general the hotel was good. BUT nothing special. Very limited in places to eat & drink. Also very noisy. Children running up & down corridors late at night (however this isn’t the hotels fault more poor parenting) & then cleaners dragging chairs in other rooms early in morning when cleaning. We also had LOTS of ants in our room and on bed. We did complain but nothing was really done about it. Overall I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

The rooma are big enough for a family of 1 child. The only problem is that although the bed is very big it is very uncomfortable. They need to change the beds

Paid for a “2 King Beds” room. Got a room with only one bed. When I requested this be corrected, since I prepaid for a non-refundable room, I was asked by hotel reception if I had a couch in my room. When I told the woman no, she then said they’d bring in a roll-away cot.
I have VIP GOLD status and am supposed to be offered free room upgrades, food discounts, etc. However, at PortAventura I pay almost $200 for a 1-night stay to be downgraded from the room type I booked.

Room was appaling, leaking ceiling, broken wardrobe doors and shower pools were good though, exactley the same breakfast everyday, dinner buffet is boring.
1.5
The parks were nice, except for visible lack of staff creating huge queues that could have been better managed with more trained staff.
The hotel is very convenient, the pool and buffets are quite nice. The problem I had was with the smell in the room, probably because I was very close to the restaurant (room 2109) and its exhaustion flumes were somehow invading my A/C. The A/C temperature was also very high, couldn't get it down to a comfortable level

The hotel is lovely, however, the pool is very strict to say it’s a child friendly theme park hotel. You are almost told ‘NO FUN’ it’s very relaxing though and tranquil so I understand why they have done this but I didn’t expect it from a child oriented place, such as a theme park hotel.
The hotel also have a scheme where you collect points to stay in hotel but the pints card didn’t work for the full first day!!
The theme park was great, but you need to buy fast pass, if not you have 3 hour waits for rides. Staff are rude, don’t expect the English/American customer service, the staff bark orders and are often rude for no reason! Also unfortunately the Spanish/French customers we dealt with seemed to have an issue with queuing! It’s very frustrating after 2.5 hours to have big groups push in front (happened very often).
Fast track is expensive but it’s NEEDED.

Absolutely superb! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and in great order. The bathroom was brilliant and with great lighting. The shower superb also. The staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. The entire resort was above and beyond my expectations. The evening parade and light / fireworks show just breathtaking. We are about to book again! Thank you.

We stayed 5 nights which was way too long. Dont let the tickets incuded fool you. its expensive for a family. dinner, super expensive so is everything else like souvenirs, lunch out and so on. no microwave or refrigerator in purpose so that you spend your money.
we found it very expensive vacations. we prefer 5 stars camping that gives a family the chance to cook and kids club too.
seem like this stay is geared toward couples or older kids.
we had rain and lots of ride didn't work.
english of the staff is basic if they even speak English.
Reception is so busy you cannot just stop to ask a quick question.
No map of the park available anywhere, just app. if your phone not charge forget about finding your way.
lines are so long and the crowd is making it so much less fun, more stress.

Best Hotel in portaventura! First of all, we were very well received by Carina, the nicest staff, on our arrival at the hotel who helped us with everything. We wanted to change our room and get very good help of another friendly staff at the reception. The breakfast and dinner were perfect both days. The only negative i have to say is about the time for dinner witch is just 1 hour for 3 course dinner, stressful! Everything else was perfect! We will definitely coming back😊👌

The room was not clean. They never empty the trash bin. The bathroom wasnt clean properly. Asking simple questions to the staff around was nightmare.
Gym was closed.
Jacuzzi close to swimming pools not working.
My wife forgot two swimsuits on the balcony, we Called the hôtel twice, with négative feedback.
The only positivé point is location, but for the money we spent, its not a good place to Stay.
