Room had poor heating. Brought the issue to management, said there was nothing they could do except move me to another room. I tried another room and it had the same problem. I had to wear ski clothes to stay warm in the room. Otherwise the room was okay.
2.0
The room was clean, bed comfortable. No refrigerator or microwave.
The room was located next to the stairway so it was quite noisy with people coming and going late in the evening and very early in the morning.
2.5
Disappointed there was no shampoo or even soap in the shower. Thought my room came with microwave and refrigerator, it did not

It was very cold and snowing at the time I checked in at Motel 6 in Mammoth Lakes. I was given a room where the heater was NOT working and the thermostat was broken. I had to walk in the cold and ice toward the office to complain about the heater not working in the cold of the night.
2.5
Great costomer service at the office & fast service
2.5
The room was exactly as they said it would be and very clean. The staff are what makes this place great! They were super helpful and courteous! Will always stay here from now on.
2.5
Good service and good value.

I was not expecting much. However, there was no hot water in the morning, even after running the water for an unreasonable period of time; and the toilet seat was loose.
2.0
Its an old construction. I am fine with that, but its not worth paying $$$. No hot water in bathroom, bed mattress isn't good, main door lock/key doesn't work all the time. Its okay for 1-2 days short stay, ,
1.5
Heating did not seem to work.
1.5
Its a clean place to stay. Nothing fancy just a room and the heart of town. Also they allow dogs at no charge. I would stay there again

This is a centrally located property in Mammoth lakes. The rooms, the external environment etc is clean and safe. There is ample parkimg available within the property area and it looks and feels safe as well. They're accomodative of pets which is awesome. Most of all, I appreciate the staff who were all polite, respectful and helpful to their best. This is a good place for a short stay as you explore this part of California on a road trip.

Decent property at nice location

It's a good, clean and centrally located property with ample parking space. The staff are helpful and on top of things. Its a good experience.

You get what you pay for. Although, since this Motel 6 was in Mammoth, they charge more than you would normally pay at Motel 6. The room had 2 beds and one was really uncomfortable. The sink didn't drain properly. For what they are charging, you would think they could keep the property up.

The room was small, no refrigerator in the room. There was two of us staying in the room with our fishing gear and bicycles. Unhappy with the water pressure in the shower and 1 bar of soap with no shampoo. The room was clean and the A/C worked great. The beds were comfortable and clean
2.0
The rooms are clean and simple. A nice place to stay for a night.

Property needs to be torn down. Falling apart, concrete falling off needs paint, dirty towel in hall for over 18 hrs.

Overall it was pretty swell. I wish there was a coffee pot. Everything else is good:-)

Typical Motel 6. The rooms are small and pretty grungy, and the beds and pillows suck! We were there for a weekend and the live music across the street at the Liberty Bar draws a loud rowdy crowd, so bring your sound machine if you want to go to bed at a decent hour :)

The best country Motel 6 I’ve stayed in ever 👌 well maintained and clean
No pool, listing needs to be updated/corrected.

Beds were pretty comfortable and air conditioning was great. Nothing else in room - no fridge, microwave, coffeemaker - nothing. And room was very tiny. Lighting was good.
2.0
No refrigerator, coffee machine or microwave in the room. Noisy
4.0
No frills, small and basic but clean and affordable room. All I needed. Wood floors are a plus. And the location is beautiful. Bring your own shampoo, etc.

Pluses - good location, clean, staff was friendly. Minuses - pricey, no amnesties, room was small and uncomfortable.

Perfect place for a long trip stop

Hotel is on the main road into Mammoth which is convenient, but Motel 6s in general are poorly maintained, outdated and no-frills. No security deposit requirements invite a different class of individuals. They weren’t all scetchy, but just in general.
It was one of the lowest prices in town so I took a chance (knowing the track record).
The guest above our room must have not slept all night! I heard walking and shuffling around the room most of the night. Again, these hotels are cheaply constructed and the walls and ceilings are thin.
This is a sub-$90 hotel that charges too much for what it is.
This was a last-minute road trip, but knowing now, I would have paid $30-50 more and stayed somewhere else.

It would have been nice to have a small refrigerator

Good for the night in a bikepacking trip to take a break

Location and price. It's in mammoth and it's the cheapest motel you'll find.

The price was good and my room was very clean. I was very happy with my stay. Ultra clean. Only issue is the shower is not tall so if you’re 6’5” or taller it’s tough to fit without bending down.

good

We enjoyed our stay. The best part being our fur baby is always welcome to stay at Motel 6.
5.0
The rooms are clean and have good lighting. The beds are comfy and the water pressure in the shower is great.

Good for what you pay for. Nice bar across the road and close to Mamoth lakes

Easy going for our forestry crew to relax after work
2.0
No fridge, no microwave, no ice. Extremely small room. Slow wifi. Laundry was available but very dirty (washer full of toilet paper) and frustrating to work using the app. Near to a lot of restaurants and bars, good coffee shops, etc.

This was one of our top 5 worst nights in a hotel. The most uncomfortable beds, nobody really slept at all. The room was so small we were tripping over one another and our bags. The door did not seal closed and we could see daylight all around it. We chose this hotel because it was the only one in town with AC, not because of the price. But definitely not worth having questionable AC. Live and learn, it was a Motel 6 after all.

Very clean , nice staff

Good location, clean and tidy. Appreciate the location has limited accomodation available, and the daily rate reflects this.
