Peninsula Bed & Cocktails and Gulfport have become my home away from home when traveling in the Tamps-St. Pete area.

Our stay was lovely. The room was beautiful. Wish we could have had that mojito we stayed there for, but no mint.

Hotel was incorrectly advertised as dog friendly… they still let me stay thankfully but they technically only allow dogs in some rooms and for an extra fee. They were very accomodating and I loved the room and location

Our room was comfortable. The bed was a bit soft for our taste but okay. Be aware that some rooms upstairs and there are no elevators so pack lightly. No irons available in the room so plan ahead. The location is convenient and walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

Where do I start? I was admittedly skeptical when I saw the pictures online because too often they are misrepresentations. Not Here!
This was my first visit to the Art District of Gulfport and I fell in love. This Hotel checks all the boxes and even more. The property is squeaky clean, cute, and well-maintained. Just trust me; stay here. You’ll be glad you did.

Awesome staff and ambiance

Everything was great except for the following:
1. I was told that my credit card did not go through. I was on the highway and said I would call back. I called back 10 mins later and no one ever answered or called me back.
2. There was not a single tea bag in the breakfast room and no one to ask for one. I had to leave the hotel to get tea,

It a was so hot in my room I could not sleep there was no fan and the air barley circulated in the room even though it was set to 73. There were so many small ants on my bedside table I couldn’t even have a drink sitting there because they were inside of it within 5 minutes.

I liked the no key access.the t.v.remotes are a bit difficult..i have not recieved a copy of my bill but my friend did...could you please send it..thank you

Cute place right in the historic district. Rooms were clean and lived the themes. Lobby and breakfast area cute and nice continental breakfast.
Mattress was really really hard. No cups to use for brushing teeth.
Overall great visit and wil look recommend to others.

At this price point I expect the mattress to be more comfortable. The temp of the building was perfect, but my room was very stuffy & several degrees warmer than the hallway. I found a fan that helped.
However, The atmosphere, aesthetic & location could not be better! Breakfast was simple & delicious with a nice dining area to enjoy.

My daughter and I traveled to one of our favorite places, Gulfport, and this stay was one of the best! It was right downtown in all the action. The check-in was easy and the room was so cute and clean! We will definitely be staying again. They definitely put a lot of thought into making our stay memorable. Parking was easy. Perfect stay for couples or 1-2 people, unless they have bigger rooms. Our room just had one bed. The complimentary drinks were thoughtful and they even had beach towels for us to use.

The room was very clean. No complaints on the room.. walls are paper thin and you hear everything that goes on in the hall, doors slamming, people talking loud, etc. Other than that no other complaint. Check-in and check out was very easy and convenient .

Personable staff. Very nice breakfast selection. Pina Colada room was very nice & has everything you need.
The clean bathroom could use a small table or shelf to put your ‘stuff’ on, other than that, all was great !

Historic landmark, well kept.

Its a nice place . Its centrally located in town so once you get there you really dont need your car again till you leave. Plenty of food, drinks, ice cream, and shops to keep you busy for the whole time you are there. If you are not a drinker there are a lot of things to see and do just a few miles away.

Nice area, people having fun at restaurants/lounges and great music, key west feeling...

It was a desent experience. I'm generally not fond of older place's. However, they did a nice job of renovating an old historic building centered around coctail themes. It cute and and the town of Gulfport is a noce little get away from the hustle and bustle of a big city.
I also liked the keyless entry system that made coming and going very easy.
Its a nice place and i would stay there again

We enjoyed our stay..
Housekeeping staff were helpful and did great job on the room. Liked the location, with places to eat close by and grocery stores, etc., within 1-2 miles.
Only negative(s) were the elevator not working (stairs are narrow, so not easy to navigate w/ luggage) and then steps out the rear exit were in bad shape (loose railing, pieces missing from the steps).

This place was absolutely amazing. It was a small town vibe like Key West, but with such a fun theme for the hotel. It was cleanly. The staff was very nice and the service was great. I would definitely come back again.

I decided I wanted a weekend getaway for Mother’s Day and booked the Peninsula Bed and cocktails. It’s always scary booking in a place I don’t know but the reviews were good and my husband and I quickly learned why!! And couldn’t agree more! The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was incredible. Malory and Lauren took such good care of us at the bar and greeted everyone with such warmth. We highly recommend and hope to get back to Gulfport again soon!

Peninsula Bed & Cocktails design is modern, unique, and filled with so much history — like much of the area the hotel is situated in. The Peninsula is located right on the main road of downtown Gulfport, which makes is easy to explore the local sights and sounds. It’s also only a 10-20 minute from from St. Pete Beach, downtown St. Pete, and other popular spots. Definitely would love to stay again!

The location was perfect, parking was convenient and the design was amazing. The lil details from the color of the lamps to the design of the glasses. I enjoyed myself and will certainly be returning

This hotel is located in a great location. We stayed in the Cosmopolitan room and it was very cute however it could have been cleaner. The rug was quite dirty and we noticed dirt in some areas in the bathroom. The shower also didn’t work properly, pressure was low and couldn't get hot, the tub also didn’t drain so you had to stand in a tub full of water. The complimentary breakfast was great! Overall it was a nice stay.

The Peninsula Inn was a charming and unique experience. The staff was kind and helpful. The surrounding area had a lot to offer and there were many delicious areas within walking distance. Also loved the fact that the beach was right down the street.

Your review indicated a King Bed.
The room only had a Queen bed.
You misrepresented that room accommodation.
Fortunately the hotel Manager Kayla graciously upgraded us to a room with a King Bed!

Greatly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. Very clean, staff very friendly, decorated very nicely. They did a wonderful job restoring this historic building. Received 2 complimentary drinks at the cute cocktail bar upon arrival, which was such a nice touch. Complimentary snacks & bottle water in room. Breakfast consisted of bagels, breads, muffins, sweet rolls, cereal, yogurt, waffle maker machine, juice, fruit cups, and coffee. Loved this place and would return again if in the area.
