Really beautiful hotel, well situated, great amenities and excellent customer service. Highly recommended!

No ice machines!!
Great buffet breakfast!!
4.3
Good stay but needs updating
4.3
Lovely hotel, big variety breakfast buffet. Would definitely stay again
4.3
Staff very helpful, big hotel, clean and good location had a great time in March
4.3
Clean, spacious and epic breakfast. Really good services available. Fair pricing in shops. Great pool area. Rooms are nice but are a bit dated. Spotless though. Lack of sockets so bring an extension. Not really 5 star but maybe after refurb planned for 2025

The hotel is very big but it never felt too busy. The room was large and clean with a lovely view over the pool and the ocean in the distance.
I sent several queries in advance of our stay and didn’t receive a reply to any of them.
We booked full board and the confirmation from hotels.com failed to mention that long trousers are required in the restaurant at night until 21 June. We walked for an hour trying to buy long trousers but this is Tenerife and it was 30 degrees so long trousers were not acquired! There were men in jeans and women in play suits and bikini tops in the dining room at night so the dress code, as they called it, made no sense.
The hotel is quite dated but nothing wrong with it. The pool area is lovely. The food was also nice and fresh.

Always stay at this hotel - love it!
4.3
Some of the rooms in the corners of the building tend to be dark and overlooked. Some rooms were a tiny bit dated but generally in good condition
4.3
Amazing hotel. Great staff and amazingfood. I loved my stat..never seen such great hotel staff. Nice location 10 minutes to the beach. Not so great for people with limited mobility as they will need to catch a taxi back from the beach for €4 as the hotel is uphill . Would definitely go back. Well done to the management.
4.3
Property in need of modernisation but still of a good standard for its age.
4.3
The hotel is badly in need of refurbishment. The furniture in the rooms is dated and ill matching. I do not expect a 5 star hotel to have coffee making facilities which consist of a small kettle and sachets of cheap, instant coffee. With regard to this, when we arrived, those meagre facilities were not available in either of the 2 rooms we had booked. It was not until the next day that they arrived in our daughter's room. On one occasion the room was not cleaned, despite our being out for most of the day, This was only rectified after 2 phone calls to reception .In addition, the toiletries available are not up to 5 star standard The service in the hotel is far from what is expected of a 5 star hotel i.e. no turn down service, no welcoming drink(not necessarily alcoholic).
The rules re sunbeds apparently forbid reserving before 10am.While I appreciate that reserving a sun bed and then disappearing for a long period of time is unacceptable, all of the 5 star hotels we have stayed in previously have allowed between 45 mins and 1 hour to allow time to have breakfast. In addition, the hotel should provide some training to the group of men who are responsible for removing the towels etc as their approach was intimidating. The mini golf course is falling to pieces and there were slug pellets within easy reach of children. In my opinion this is not a 5 star hotel.

Had a great stay as a family of three with a 5 years old. Facilities and staff are great and very child friendly. Buffet dinners and lunches varied - some days were excellent, other not so much. Pools are also lovely. The only true inconvenience was an absolute lack of ventilation on the bathroom/toilet. Would certainly return despite of this.
4.3
Positives - location next to great shops and restaurants. Breakfast was great. Room cleaned promptly daily
Negatives - overall condition is tired and def not 5 star. Reception staff unresponsive to feedback around the condition of the room and hotel; other than “it’s getting refurbished soon”
4.3
Entertainment every night, very good. Comfortable hotel, 4 * not 5*
4.3
All staff lovely. Very clean just a bit tired but believe it is due for a refurb in december
4.3
Pleasant break
4.3
Great stay in a lovely hotel. Excellent and friendly staff.
Good location. Beautiful pool area.
4.3
Hotel is in great position and offers everything you need
We only stay bed and breakfast as not many options for lunch and dinner at hotel so we go out where there is tons of choice
The rooms are in desperate need of updating but that is happening next year as closing for 6 months from Jan 25
Hoping the reception area will be updated too and more ambient lighting is needed for the evening entertainment as lacks atmosphere although we go out every night
Looking forward to going back after the refurbishment

This is the second time we have stayed here. It’s a lovely hotel very grand with large comfortable rooms. The evening buffet is good value and the pools and sun bathing terraces are large. I had a problem with my knee and the hotel were really so helpful.
4.3
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in! Fantastic facilities and world class food. Great rooms, great beds, great pools and lovely staff. Would highly recommend
4.3
Great hotel and staff, always enjoy my visits.
4.3
Excellent hotel & facilities. The hotel is quite large, plenty to do. Evening entertainment is the best we have experienced in a long time! However, if one thing needs improvement it is the WiFi ~ kept dropping calls and not connecting every time = frustrating! But overall an excellent hotel and we will be back!
4.3
Excellent stay and the area is high quality and well kept
4.3
The hotel was clean but needs a deep clean it looked tired in places. Adult only pool silly to open it at 10am! Ridiculous should be open 8.30am as should the pool bar and not 11am!! The balcony lights automatically ago off at 11pm,really poor there should be alternative light so guests can continue their evening and not have it cut short because of other guests, ITS everyone’s HOLIDAY!. Breakfast was the best part of the hotel, excellent choice. The evening entertainments was mixed from poor to bad, but the biggest issue was the seating area …..it felt like an airport departure lounge and not inviting.

Had a lovely stay in Adeje, the Gran Costa is a nice hotel. It is a little dated could do with some modernisation to get to a 5* resort. That said they offer a lot to families. pool tables, air hockey and nightly entertainment provided in abundance and no shortage of sun loungers either. Thought it unusual to have to pay for bottles of water for the bedroom these are normally provided free daily, we received one free at the start of the holiday and that was it. Rooms cleaned daily but felt there was always an odour coming from the bathroom like stale water. The location of the hotel is good, you’re a 10 minute walk from the strip and the beach but there are bars, shops and restaurants within a 2 minute walk from the Hotel
4.3
We have stayed in this hotel many times and it is wonderful.
The service at Reception was disappointing as our reservation was lost when we arrived and we had to wait an hour to get it sorted. It was stressful because we were told the hotel was sold out. We eventually got it sorted ourselves when we called hotels.com.
4.3
Location of property is excellent.. walking distance to beach and nearby shopping mall. There is full day of activities going in the hotel which keeps the kids busy and in evening there are performers coming from outside which were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel
4.3
A great base and good value for money.
4.3
Fantastic hotel. Great food, every service you could require, fantastic staff. Simply faultless.
4.3
Hotel is lovely, beautiful entrance and pool areas.
Food wasn't great and the restaurant is more like a canteen.
Rooms are large but very noisy. I was on the side by a road, on a low floor, which i didnt think was the best for a solo female traveller.
4.3
good but i didn’t think 5* rated in my books 4*
4.3
Property is tired and old, badly in need of refurbishment. Tiles on stairs are broken. Lots of areas showing water leaks and damaged plaster. Check in process was confusing. Beds are uncomfortable. Sun beds are closely packed in. However buffet food was a high standard. Overall this hotel is poor value for the rates charged.
4.3
1.The room has musty smells.
2. Air condition stoped in the midnight.
3. Fire Alarm on in the morning around 5:45am and no one explained what caused on that. Being few times like this.
4. The all inclusive is not covering everything, some of the drinks still needs to pay, excluding spa services, all buffets meals but the lunch one is just so not good.
The Asia meals are just not acceptable, worst than the takeaway shop in London.
5. The seaside / beach is not nearby the hotel , it takes around 15 minutes to reach to.
6. Staffs’s English is not good, can’t really communicate well.
7. The roof pool area is nice and quiet
4.3
We spent a week here AI. Enjoyed it and this is our view.
So 5 star is for the facilities and they are all pretty good. Rooms are massive the bathroom alone are huge. The place is spotless and seems to be constantly cleaned and you could eat dinner off the bathroom floors.
Staff in the main are helpful and willing to help, we did find if there is an error even the smallest thing its almost as if some want to have an argument about it. It was very odd, example being once waiter brought the wrong drink, not a big issue but immediately he was defensive saying it was me who had it wrong, very strange.
The food AI was pretty good and wasn't bored at the end of the week and there was plenty of options.
Some downside the rooms are pretty dated and shabby chic, They are big and comfortable and the bathrooms are massive but a pretty risky step into shower. They also must have got a job lot on mirrors as they are everywhere and massive.
The big let down is the AC, in the rooms it is as effective as a asthmatic mouse blowing through a straw and in the common areas it is non existent.
All in all we enjoyed it and would use again if in this neck of the world.
4.3
Excellent place for families. We had a wonderful time there. Staff was very friendly. The hotel has got a lot of amenities to enjoy for different age groups. Hotel activities throughout the day are fantastic.
I'd highly recommend it. I'll definitely come back to this hotel. It made us feel fantastic.
4.3
The hotel is beautiful and have everything you need to entertain the whole family.
Very nice and clean room, excellent food and friendly staff.
We travel with our son and he easy make friends.
The hotel is very close to the beach and shops, with a lot of shopping options.
I will definitely come back.
4.3
Our stay was absolutely beautiful. From the service, to the cleanliness, to the pool to the breakfast. We couldn’t ask for more! The location was ideal - close to the beach (although a slight hill to climb when returning) and you can walk to Playa Las Americas along the coast within 45 minutes. We will most definitely be returning. Thank you to all the staff!
