Older hotel. Clean, good service.

The picture of the rooms which they share on your site are not relevant to the real situation.
First impression of the room was terrible. Smells and it wasn’t that what I expected from what I see on your site. First time in my long experience tht wasn’t coffee maker in the room.
Check in was terrible to because nobody was in the office and night window for checking make me uncomfortable especially I was surprised with form which I need to fill out whit all my information and information of the car.
I feel scared and ask lady if she has computer because I reserve room on the line
Also U was surprised that you have on your sits that kinde of properties .
Properties is close to good attraction in Reeding: Turtle bay, Arboretum and Sundial bridge because I didn’t pay to much attention to check more information about it.( that it was my mistake because in my experience around good attraction were always good properties)
The price of that stay it was too high for bad room, bad filling and bad experience.

The pictures online are not accurate. Mattresses were left outside laying against the wall. Rooms were dirty. No wifi

It was OK

Although the rooms were clean there did appear to be some areas that were lacking such as dirty curtains. The walls are very thin the people in the room next to us stayed up all night long and were very loud and there was no one to reach at the office to help resolve the noise issue. Our telephone rang like every three hours with nobody on the other side to answer. The location becomes a drag strip at night the “racing” car sounds were very loud.

It was great small place but nice and clean I parked in front of my room

The WiFi connection was non existent in my room

The room was clean but the rooms and building needs serious maintenance. The floor was so soft in places you feel like you might go through

First notable thing is the filled in but not paved over pool in the parking lot. There seemed to be shady dramatic things going on throughout the night. Staff literally cracked a window 2inches to interact with me to let me know tbey had downgraded my room but the price stayed the same. The room was straight up gross. The bathroom had been graffitied in glow in the dark spray paint and there was blood splattered all over the wall behind the toilet. Do not stay here.

No WIFI as advertised, the room smelled funny like stale cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking room. No extra touches such as coffee maker and lotion. The area was bad when we arrived I had a man another guest ask me if I staying long term and ask how often I come and wanted to borrow an extension cord. It was just a strange and dirty atmosphere with lots of long term residents for almost $300 a night.

This has to be the worst motel I have ever stayed in. I found blood stain in one of the beds in my room. I paid $278 for this room. What a rip off!! The only good thing was that the person at check in was very nice. Other than that…what a dump.

Don't recommend this hotel at all

Fast and easy, room was very clean
3.2
This is a sad outdated motel that still charges premium prices. Everything in the room was outdated or dilapidated.
3.2
This was the cutest little place! The room was clean, great size with comfy beds and pillows. The staff was absolutely amazing too; such a great experience. We will definitely stay here again!

We hit Redding at the end of a 700 mile day in the car. We booked Turtle Bay sight unseen online because it was literally the last room available in town. We were shocked when we pulled into the property. The best thing I can say about it is that it was Motel 6 quality at three times the price.
The TV didn't work. We had to go back to the office, which was closed at 7:00 PM, to get details on the WiFi because there was not a single scrap of paper in the room to tell us about it. The walls are paper-thin. We could hear every time one of the neighbors used the toilet or shower. The only positive was that the AC worked.

Very humid in the room and no AC. Easy late checkin and workers very friendly. Nobody available in the morning for checkout.

A good value and close to the arboretum.

The property was extremely over priced. I can’t believe what they charged for this space that offered no amenities—no coffee-and the door/lock seemed unsafe. The beds/bedding and furnishings were old and stained. The chairs were terribly stained. The pillow smelled I like cigarette smoke. The tub was clean but the shower curtain was icky grimy—the curtains were extremely dirty! The place was terrible—and through Expedia we paid a premium price. They charged extra for our dog, but I was worried the dog would get dirty! I am sorry to write this because the people seemed nice but the price of this accommodation was absurd.
3.2
Very sketchy property. The room reeked of marijuana; very shady characters seem to be comfortable staying in this no tell motel. The rooms were updated but I’d have gladly spent an extra $10 to stay in a safer feeling environment.

Hotel is in ok part of town but not very close to services.
Hotel was not in best of shape. Overall it is run down.
No services were provided like clean towles. Family of four with two towles for two days... glad we brought our own.
Worst part is no hot water. Had to call office several times. Was told too many people taking showers... hotel was not even half full... would hate to stay if it was full.

It was a short stay but very comfortable. Staff very helpful. Quiet place.

3.2

Love that i felt at home comfy vibe. And not alot of other quest

Nobody there at check in and they made me give a cash deposit, but wouldn’t provide a receipt

Remodeled with hardwood looking flooring product, and if orange is the new black, lumber liquidators wood floor is the new cheap. Still, very much more sanitary. Which is good.
Unfortunately it’s also a bare slab floor, as most dwellings in the third world and California are. Which means the floor is about 35 degrees now. The occupancy is quite low, and we will see why in a moment, so the rooms are not heated when vacant. After check in, handled through a bullet proof window now, unlike previous stays we could enjoy the smell of curry from the back, plan on running the heat on high for hours, but since it won’t touch the floor, it will only be too hot to sleep and too cold to stand.
No problem, a nice hot shower will do the trick. Yes, it certainly might have. The first room, had half a bath’s worth of hot water and then never more. The second room, shower only so we effectively got moved to a lesser room to fix the problem, had warm water at best. The tile was beautiful, but of course cold. Like my ex wife. And similarly I would have gone sooner if there wasn’t money involved.
This has been our budget priced gem for over a decade. A quick name change and it’s become a place we won’t return, despite the same owners.
3.2
Place is disgusting, towels and sheets were dirty. We were only able to stand it for 3 hrs and we checked out immediately. Wouldnt recommend anyone to stay there even if it was free.
3.2
I was turned away because I have a cat. Pet friendly is not explicitly stated to be dogs only.
3.2
Curtains in hotel were worn and threadbare, holes in places so that they did not block the light. While it claims to be pet friendly, pet charge was five dollars more than the website claimed, and there was absolutely no area with any grass for pets to potty. Toilet paper holder was chintzy and fell apart while getting paper. No coffee, either in rooms nor office. Piles of debris and old mattresses everywhere. Would not return.
3.2
The Room was big space except no dining table to use to eat but over all was nice.
3.2
The outside of the motel is dirty. The lights above the sink is broken. The air conditioning is not really working, but it may due to the heat waves that hit California that day. The only good thing about this motel is the price. You really get what you paid for.
