Good, clean place with attentive staff.
Location is a little out of the way, but it was good nonetheless
2.0
Good location, food good, cool hipster vibe, but room was tiny, not comfortable

Loved the restaurants and bakery at the hotel. The hotel was close to Chuo Park, bus stop and station. The staff were wonderful and are very helpful
1.5
Pros: reasonable price, decent room size, a nice park opposite
Cons: fairly long walk to Shinjuku station, and there was a stretch of walk to the nearest metro without any shelter so pray there is no rain. It appears that the hotel is located near to a hospital hence there is noise of ambulance siren at night. It doesn’t help that the air-conditioning is centrally controlled so for proper ventilation, we need to open the window at night. Also the check out time of 10.00 am is too early.
2.5
Excellent hotel, very close to the park and an easy walk to Shinjuku station and the town.

Staff were very helpful from check in, breakfast service to arranging our luggage transfer. Booked superior double but it was tiny with no storage. Felt it was overpriced for space we had. However, would stay here again. Very convenient for Shinjuku area.

Great breakfast, easy location. Tiny room and bathroom but manageable and comfortable.

Good location for exploring Shinjuku area without being right in the noisy area. Walkable to tube stations and a few small bars and eateries around the hotel. Bakery on the ground floor was excellent - lots of vegan options and all were delicious.
We had a deluxe room with view of the park and government building which was great. Plenty of space. Bed wasn’t the comfiest I’ve had in Japan - a bit uneven, maybe well worn, and only one pillow. Did get a bit of noise from police sirens but didn’t really bother us. Lobby area was always bustling with activity. Would be happy to stay here again - I’d recommend asking for a high floor and going for a deluxe room.

Overall decent hotel. Location is a bit far away from metro stations, which made traveling through tokyo more of a hassle. Check in process was easy. The room was a decent size and i liked that they have things to put your luggage on. Bathroom was small but not tooo small. They provided water everyday and changed the towels but in the 3 nights we were there they never took our trash out. That was a major thing that i need from a hotel especially when traveling. It felt like a more american style hotel and i was slightly disappointed for how expensive it was.

About 15 min away from shinjuku station, har to walk under bridges where there were alot of homeless people but we didn't mind. We put a trashbag in the bin in the room but they took it out, left it and only took the bag it was in. They only clean the rooms every third day but we didn't mind that either. The breakfast area was busy and they weren't always quick enough to fill it up. But we had a nice stay, the restaurants seemed nice although we didn't try them out. The bar on the second floot was nice.

Wonderful stay! Hotel is situated in Shinjuku near a beautiful park. It is a little far from Shinjuku station, but there is a smaller station and buses near by. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was dirty, there were visible stains on the furniture. The quality of the beds were quite poor, very busy hotel and lobby. Not the most quiet rooms, thin walls, could easily hear neighbours talking and snoring.

Helpfull staff, near Shinjuku Station, reasonable prices

Facilities were really excellent there was a very young hip vibe that would not be for everyone. The breakfast was exceptional. There was a coin laundry, bar, bakery and restaurant. Short walk to the station and plenty of eateries close by.

AC did not work

Overall I enjoyed the hotel. They do need to update their dryers. It took 2 hours to dry my jeans (3 items) and T-shirts (3 items). The only thing I found unusual was the height of the step into the bathroom but overall it was a comfortable room. I appreciate the bottles of water that was left daily. Everyone was very accommodating and nice.

Great location! Love the bakery, lobby seating area. Great facilities and amenities. Rooms are a little small but so worth the stay. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the Knot was amazing. The room is bigger than typical business hotels in Japan. The hotel itself is very modern, both in the communal areas and inside the rooms. It also had great amenities.
The location is top notch. The neighborhood has everything you need within walking distance but is a lot quieter than neighborhoods closer to central Shinjuku. This is a place we will always return to.

Very thin walls. Can hear neighbors talking and moving items. Must step-up to get into bathroom, similar to cruise ship bathrooms. Felt like I was on a cruise when in the bathroom.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here

The staff was nothing but helpful respectful and made you feel like you weren’t staying at hotel but their home.

Long walk to subway station. Laundry room do not have enough machine. Long wait even at 2am. Washroom very small and has little bugs. Bedsheets not comfortable.

A quiet option to the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku. A lovely park over the road, good food options and a couple of closer subway options than having to rely on Shinjuku. Highly recommend.

Staff are friendly, nice bakery, nearby bus station available to transport to Shinjuku subway station.

Very cozy hotel. Friendly staff. Good check in experience.

I have traveled all over the world, and unfortunately, this is one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. My family and I, a party of three including my husband and child who has health issues, were not allowed to stay in one room. Despite explaining our situation, they refused to accommodate us, forcing me to pay extra for an additional room at the last minute. This unexpected expense meant that my husband had to stay in a separate room, which was incredibly inconvenient and stressful.
To make matters worse, the toilet in our room had a persistent smell throughout our stay, which made the experience even more unpleasant. There are far better places to stay in Tokyo—don’t waste your time or money here.

I had a good stay at this hotel. The only downside was that the walk to the nearest subway station was a bit longer than I expected. Since I’m not someone who enjoys walking, it felt a bit inconvenient. However, if you don’t mind a bit of exercise, you might actually appreciate the walk. Overall, a pleasant experience!

The hotel is very clean and in a quiet area. The rooms are clean and the decor is nice.
The hotel is a bit far from Shinjuku station (15 min walk) but the bus nearby is convenient to Shibuya. This location does lead to a very quiet and comfortable stay if you can handle the extra walking.
The back of the bathroom door states that if you want mugs clean to leave them out. Staff said you need to clean mugs yourself. It's a bit odd to have a hotel not give fresh mugs daily.

It was a nice and quiet location, but easily walkable to Shinjuku. The staff were friendly and kind. I'm looking forward to staying here again!

Great place. Very modern, spacious, and friendly staff. I became ill during my trip to japan and the staff were very accomodating and even found a medical specialist for my treatment. Big thank you to Morreto (sorry if the spelling is incorrect). Best service of any hotel I have visited around the world. Thank you

Close to a couple of local train stations. The rooms could use some furniture for clothing/storage.

This was our second stay at the Knot in less than a year and our experience with staff this time was poor. While the staff did apologise after I had escalated the matter - however if you are looking for a place with any expectation of customer service then please look for other options.

The aircon was not really cold even we set to the lowest.

The front staff are helpful but overall facilities need some improvements especially the washrooms. When we flash the toilet a bad smell comes out.

The hotel and restaurant staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The location afforded access to the shopping and transportation centers. The restaurant bar was cozy and elegant. We made good use of the clothes washing facilities while we were there. I would certainly stay here again.

I was writing a nice review and the App liked me out. Not gonna write it again…
