This was by far the worst over night stay I have ever had.
Pros:
sheets and bathroom were clean.
Cons:
Drawers were all gross and had previous guest trash and belongings in them.
Lamp looked like it was about to fall over.
Curtains were in a ragged state of disgust.
Tv would automatically turn to Seinfeld every 30 mins.
Coffee pot was stained due to lack of cleaning and care I imagine.
Neighbors who were in a no pet room had a dog who was barking all hours.
Smoking right out front of the door. Open your door and people just leaning against the wall smoking right there.
No amount of money is worth this. We got in late on Thanksgiving and didn’t have much other choice but to stay at that point as everyone was booked. We stayed in room 202.

Room was large and comfortable. Everything was clean and in good working order.

Ok. Breakfast in the morning was post to be from 530 to 11. I went over there about 10 AM and there was hardly anything there.

Last minute emergency stay needed. Great rate. Older property, but still comfortable. Quiet area, didn’t see any transients around. Felt safe even though each room is an outdoor entrance. Close enough to walk to Starbucks, Wendy’s, Safeway. Offered breakfast, but I did not use that service.
Allowed me an extra hour for check-out as I was waiting for tow-truck. Would recommend it.

The room was clean, heat/air is a balancing act but was able to adjust it. Staff, well talk to the same guy the times needed. Very helpful and pleasant. Need to fix the bathroom window so it locks. Our room was on the 2nd floor so not a huge sakety issue, but... Overal a pleasant stay.

Paid $180 for a two bedroom. Website said they only had two rooms available. They were filthy. The shower was super gross, shower liner was ripped, there was stains on the bedding. It was really bad. Only positive thing was the gentlemen working stayed open past 11 so we were able to check it. Otherwise we would have been out of luck

Room was spacious. Beds need upgrade as well as the bedding. Nice enough place for a quick in and out.

This is our second stay and in the same room. Everything that was unfinished in the room a year ago remains that way. There are not alot of choses in Cle Elum and you would tgink Inn keepers would want to sperate themslves from the rest by putting a best foot dorward......guess not

Old and not cozy

Have stayed at three different motels in Cle Elum. This one rates # two of the three. Positives is that it is up on the hill west of town and NOT next to the rail road tracks. Facility is dated, probably built in the early '80's, but looks to have had a few upgrades done. Room was clean, mattress was comfortable, and the TV was great. The downside was that the room, # 202, reeked of sanitizer. Smelled like a bad combination of Formaldehyde and Lysol. Was bad enough that I had to sleep with the front window open and the bathroom exhaust fan running all night. Continental breakfast was good. For the price, I'd stay there again. Would rate it as a 3 stars.

Good location

I liked that it was very nice and quiet. I would suggest that it needs new pillows, they were very flat, it could use more blankets, and at the pool it should have a couple of umbrellas so people can sit out there under them if they don’t like the sun on them. Other then that everything else was nice

Room had flies when I arrived

I will definitely come back however I was disappointed that the hot tub didn’t work but other than that it’s a very good convenient place to go from point A to point B from around that area.
I found the pool very refreshing.

This is our favorite hotel to stay at in Cle Elum when my daughter is attending horse shows at the horse park and we've stayed times over the last 12 years. Beds are super comfortable and the large bathrooms are great. It's always clean and welcoming. Safeway is literally across the street and several coffee shops and restaurants are less than 1 block away. A/C works well.

The room was clean and quiet. The facilities are nice and convenient to the horse Park I would stay again.

There were stains on the bed spread. Didn't do a black light test but it was still grose. The covered area over the hot tub looked like it was ready to fall over. We were locked out of our room because the door lock bateries were dead and we had to wait for management to replace them.

Great location, and services
3.0 / 10.0
The room was quite large, like a studio apartment. The bedding was clean and the bed was comfy.
However, the shower was disgusting. I doubt it has been cleaned in a year. You can see where the grime has been rubbed away where people shoulder bumps it. Someone actually sprayed something on it at one point because you can see streaks.
At $177 this was not the cheapest place in town and it had higher ratings than others. For that price, I expect more.
Would not stay here again.

The only reason I gave four stars is that the shower curtain needed to be replaced. Other than that, the room was very clean. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. It was the perfect room for our needs.

The room itself was ok. Bed sheets were dirty and when you walked in it had a funny smell and you could smell it all night. I couldn't sleep at all worried Tupac's gang was going to bust in. Did not feel safe at all.

It was fine, the hot tub was out of service and the building around it was falling down.

A little dated for what they are asking in price

Disappointed in this hotel. This is NOT a lodge…but an old style hotel with outside halls/access to the rooms. Initial impression was good, although I would say it is rather overpriced. Later, upon getting into bed, I discovered 2 of the 4 pillow cases were very “dark/discolored”…and smelled extremely strong of old sweat and body oils. They appeared to have not been washed for weeks, if not longer. There was mold on the shower curtain.
Personally, I will find another hotel should I stay in the Ellensburg/Cle Elum area in the future.

Well it said it had hot tub but didn’t. The pool is in middle of parking lot with no privacy just not worth the price.

I like that it is close to the Horse Park

Room was dirty. Bed spread stained. Walls dirty. Spiders in 3 places. Hot tub broken. If we could've got our money back we would've left. Worse $150 spent on a hotel ever

It’s a little worn around the edges.

The cost for the room, considering the age of the building and overall maintenance seemed overpriced-

The breakfast was amazing, the ac was a bit noisy.

We chose to stay here because of the outdoor pool and were not disappointed. The pool was very clean, the perfect temperature, and we had it to ourselves for most of our stay. The room itself was mediocre. It was moderately clean but there was a large cobweb in the corner. I think with better lighting it would have felt more home-y but it just felt dark and not very welcoming. Between the highway noise all night and the air conditioner clanging it was also very loud. This place has a lot of potential but just wasn't there.

A little dated, but still best for Cle Elum
8.0 / 10.0
The room was clean & spacious, beds comfortable, pool clean. Conveniently located across from Safeway. The room fee included continental breakfast. For dinner, we walked to a restaurant in town (1 mile away- by car it’d be a quick drive).

There were cockroaches in the bathroom. I really hope they did not follow me home in our suitcases
