Fantastic stay at this wonderful hotel. Really loved the staff and facilities (spa was great). Food is good but like any restaurant can become predictable if eating all meals there. We went half board which was a great choice. We will be back

We had booked sea view room for a week's stay at the end of August. When we arrived we found that there was a fun-fair on outside the hotel and all along the sea front. When we were all ready to retire to bed, the fair was still going on complete with loud thumping music and strobe lights, and it finally stopped at 2am. Next morning all of us were exhausted through lack of sleep. As we have two young children, we could not stay another night in a room with that going on outside. We asked the hotel reception, who confirmed our worst fears that the fair was on all week and finished at 2am every night. We asked if we could change room and were told this would not be possible for a couple of days. Meanwhile I checked availability of the other hotels in the Aqua hotels chain, and 3 of them had family rooms available for the remaining 6 nights. We the asked if we could swap hotels but the manager said she had no flexibility to do that as we had booked through Hotels.com and that we would have to cancel with them and re-book. We made it clear that we would have been happy to take a less expensive room in one of the other hotels for no refund of the price difference, or take a more expensive room elsewhere and pay the difference. Still, she insisted that this was not possible. There was no information about the fair going on outside the hotel and likely disruption to a peaceful night's sleep. The manager was completely unapologetic about the situation. Room was also tiny.

Hotel reception staff very friendly. Large rooms. Good choice of food , as expected for tourist hotel but not always cooked well.
I would recommend booking a room with a sea view. We didn’t have one and the outlook from the back was a bit depressing.
Two lifts. Never had to wait long for lift.
Comfortable lobby. Bar attached served lovely, fresh food.
Although we didn’t participate( so cannot comment) there was an entertainments programme listed daily.
Pool a big disappointment. Not very big and overlooked by tall buildings.
Hotel very conveniently situated for beach, station and main Pineda streets.

This hotel is definitelly very good choice for family vacation. Our room was nice, as well the entire hotel. Staff was friendly, nice, professional and always helpful. Big variety of food and nothing was ever missing. Only thing we didn´t like was pool, but you can spent whole day by the sea.

Disappointed with the full board pay and not even water was included

This hotel is ideally placed across the road from the beach and a 2 min walk to the train station. Taxi's and buses are also available very nearby.
Lots of of small shops doing beach supplies and food and drink.
Hotel is very clean and the staff always very friendly.
We stay here every year and this hotel always sells out, we get the half board which is very good value, we really like the buffet style breakfast and lunch.
Great pool area
Only negative for us is that they don't do a kettle in the room but it's the same at all the local hotels.

Excellent position in front of the main road and the beach. There is a beach bar on the other side of the road that occasionally is operating till early in the morning. The trains passing by every half an hour are not annoying if you have the windows closed. The room and hotel were very clean. The food at the restaurant was excellent with a big variety of warm and cold dishesThe pool and pool area is small, as is in most hotels in Pineda de Mar

Perhaps the food was so terrible and the wine was so overpriced because it was the off season... the staff at the front counter and bar were very nice and accommodating. The staff at the restaurant were rude and pushy to sell wine. We tried the breakfast and the dinner menu at this hotel. It is honestly not worth the money. The rooms were clean, but the beds were uncomfortable and there isn’t in room coffee or tea accommodations. You can hear everything from the hallway and the bar inside the rooms as well. This hotel felt a lot like a 2 star hotel on the Vegas strip.

Hotel with a compromise! we booked this as it got good reviews and that the rear pool gets the sun in the afternoon, unfortunately it doesnt well probably from September to May, we were a family of three and the pool was an important factor for us, not being able to use that facility was an issue. The hotel group does have a couple of other hotels in the next town, we asked if we could use their outside pool but was flatly refused, we then asked another receptionist and she said it should be ok, bit dissapointed with that dont see the issue myself? Its a nice hotel if you are on the older side, food is good, coldish at times though, we found it best to go 45 mins after start so that dishes were replaced. Rooms were clean, good service from the maids although a little on the small side. We were in a premium seaview triple room, these rooms also can be quad rooms but you would struggle with storage in them. Beds were European hard and the bathroom did on occasion bring a drain smell up, our last night the neighbours kept us up till well into early hours but reception did seem to sort it. Overall a reasonable hotel, clean, would we stay again...probably not due to the pool at the back not getting the sun which really spoiled our holiday because you just sat in your room instead.

Very nice hotel with nice and helpful staff - especially in reception.
Dining room can be very noisy at times due to number of guest - perhaps two sittings would be appropriate.

Throughout our stay the staff at the hotel were very attentive and very helpful. The rooms were well maintained and cleaned each day. The food in the restaurant was good with a wide range of choice at both breakfast and evening meals.
The hotel is excellently situated next to the beach and a one minute walk from the train station. Both Girona and Barcelona are around an hour away by train and are well worth a visit.
Would recommend this hotel for its location, presentation and excellent service.

Pineda de Mar is great for beach vacations, the Aqua Promenade is a stone’s throw away from the beach, we had a sea view room with balcony, the only minor downside is the train going along the beach promenade but it didn’t affect us in any way, only marred the almost perfect view. An excellent market appears on Friday’s all the way along the street outside the hotel. Breakfast was fantastic, kids loved it, they have a kids club and the staff are extremely friendly. Ping pong tables need an upgrade but usable and the slightly small pool is in the shade until the afternoon, but when it’s so hot that’s quite refreshing. Room service arrived in good time, they also have a games area in the bar with a pool table. Overall 4/5 rating and would totally recommend it.

PROs:
- Close to the beach
- Friendly staff
- Good entertainment program for both adults and kids
- Buffet restaurant with decent choice and food quality
CONs:
- very small swimming pool and proximity of residential buildings essentially overlooking hotel’s courtyard (not a problem though)
- gym has a decent size but almost empty of any equipment... there are 2, 3 running/cycling machines and then weights, that’s it...
- awful juices at the breakfast
- overall restaurant quality/choice is just hitting 4 stars
- 1 taxi company in a town that hotel uses too and suffers from their unreliability including airport transfers cancellations without notice... luckily hotel staff are super accommodating and find alternative solutions...
