This place is safe and clean. The old reviews must be from prior management. The carpets, tile and beds are new. My room was comfortable and there was nothing dodgy about it, it seems to be being run by a nice Indian family. The location is good, not far from the Cape Cod canal. The immediate buildings around it are closed and run down but there’s a Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, cvs, restaurants, gas stations, restaurants and a liquor store in walking distance. I was there for a wedding and was pleasantly surprised how much better it was than the reviews. This is October of 2024.

I'm sorry to say I was disappointed in several ways made me uncomfortable with all the buildings around it closed up felt unsafe came out in the morning somebody was passed out in a car next to mine another reason I felt unsafe. 7:30 in the morning somebody knocked on our door to see if we were checking out they asked two more times before we finally checked out people up above us I think had shoes on and they were dancing through most of the night very sorry I would not recommend this place to anybody to stay very disappointed

This property was perfect to stay and leave. The room was clean and they were very friendly. This has what you expect from a Motel. The rotary makes it harder to access, but it isn't that bad. I have no complaints. The plugs were good and strong so you could charge your electronics. The hot water and shower was also good.

It wasn’t what was pictured. TV didn’t work. They couldn’t fix it. Kinda run down. Wasn’t keen on location. It was clean.

I’ve stayed here before and it’s been fine but on this most recent visit I was placed in a very strange room that seems to have been an add-on built after the rest of the hotel rooms. It was probably previously an employee only area. The door was a standard residential door without a peephole. There were no facility maps or emergency egress instructions. The floor was linoleum. Not even a throw rug. Full sized bed. No closet. Not even a space to hang clothes. No telephone. No alarm clock. The bathroom was fairly nice. Until I went to use the towels: they had blood stains on them. There was also no toilet paper in the bathroom at all. Did I mention mine was one of maybe 3 or 4 cars in the parking lot? Nearly the entire hotel was empty and they stuffed me in a filthy closet!

The property is in the middle of no where and anything around there is closed. But the owners were very nice and friendly. The price was cheaper than other hotels. I would recommend Eastern Inn if your looking for a quick stay

Staff needs re-training on cleaning. I hardly got sleep, people loitering in halls. People used the back & side for adult entertainment, condoms left on steps, trash, chicken wings on the floor. Babies left unattended to run up and down the halls. The air quality was horrible in the room, musty smell. I checked ac filter, filthy.

Nothing we enjoyed or liked !!! the 3/4 different kinds of bugs in the room, we showed to front desk!!! Staff wasn’t around and was told management would call next day and No call !! Cigarette holes in blankets and stains on pillow cases no blow dryer definitely not a pleasant stay I would have spent an xtra few dollars and booked somewhere else if I would have known!!!

You were doing people a disservice by having this on hotels.com. It is extremely run down hardly any paint on decks or woodwork. Everything was shipped. There was bathroom towel, racks and rods on the deck… It was a disgrace. I tried to get out of it, but they refused, which made it all the more frustrating.

The room had been remodeled and was clean and comfortable, although in the large room there was no desk or chair in addition to the bed. The exterior of the building was rough and needs spiffing up. I forgot to ask about steps (I have spinal stenosis) and there was no way to get to my first floor room without 8 steps and awkward handrails. No amenities or lobby, but it's a 2-star so you can't expect that.

What a dump! Almost $300 a night for this place. I thought it was an abandoned building when I pulled up. Stunk like cigarettes, broken doors, unfriendly staff. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

The building is in terrible condition and completely unsafe with broken door handles and locks. Very easy for intruders to enter the building. The room itself was updated and clean. The receptionist had no knowledge of our reservation or hotels.com. It was very uncomfortable to pay.

The property and area it is located in is old and isolated. It The road it is on used to be the direct access road to the Bourne Bridge, crossing onto Cape Cod. It is now bypassed, so the area is very isolated. However, I did see that some work was being done on the exterior and the room we had was very clean and comfortable. The man working the desk was very polite and welcoming. For the value, I would definitely stay there again.
