This was an amazing time here, I stayed two days with my dog! The owner was really friendly and kind. This motel is a little Gem in Milford only 1 hour and 20 mins from Bar Harbor. It’s cute, safe and comfortable! Every room was unique. They are like apartments and would definitely stay again!

Excellent motel. Lynn was so very nice and both were very accommodating. We had been traveling for 11 days and needed a washer and dryer. Their facilities were perfect. Super clean and super quiet. Would definitely recommend this motel and we will return next time.

Very quiet slept like a baby! Unusual for mw at a motel.

This motel is very unique. It's a motel that pride itself on cleanliness, friendly, is not a modern motel. Checking in is all fashion way. You get a regular key on a room no.tag.
Very clean. Housekeeping was exceptionally great. Only fault i found was the bed. Was very soft.

We loved the scenery and the private decks looking out over the river. The staff was very friendly and helpful….. we will definitely be coming back as our son started at the University of Maine……

I was upgraded to a suite which was quite nice. It was older but very cute, well maintained, clean and homey. It would have been excellent for extended stay since there was a full kitchen and everything provided. I felt quite comfortable and would definitely return.

We are on a three weeks trip across New England and we’ve been staying at any kind of Motel, Hotel, Inn… including Hiltons and other popular brands. this is definitely the best place we’ve been for its genuinity. Plenty of space in the room, which was very clean and with all we needed for our three days stay. Recommended for visiting Bangor and its surroundings.

A little motel hidden in the greater Bangor area. A little outdated, but clean, quiet, and comfortable. Plenty of space for our family. We were happy to have a real fridge, microwave, sink and stove top.
Would stay again.

This motel has a beautiful old-world cottage charm. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. Our room overlooked a river, which was an excellent place to enjoy our morning coffee. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. I loved supporting a family owned small motel, and everything about our stay was charming. The parking is convenient and the place is dog-friendly. Unlike other soul-less chains, this place barely charges anything for a dog ($10). I would definitely stay here again.

This was more like a 2-bedroom apartment (with 3 beds) than a motel. One bedroom was its own room, with a desk and a window overlooking the river. The rest was an open plan with 2 beds. Recliner chair, comfy chair, TV, full kitchen with table and chairs, patio with 2 chairs. The river view is greatly obstructed by trees, but they were pretty and this is Maine. Owner recommended Peppers Landing where we had the best seafood of our trip. The Main Street is a bit busy, rather noisy for walks but it was nice to sit on the deck and read a book. Owners gave it a personal, small town feel when you checked in. Highly recommended for the price.

Have been to this property before, which is why we wanted to come back. Would stay here again, only downside was the mattress had a dip in it, making it uncomfortable. Other than that, great place to stay.

A very welcoming and homey feel like staying at grandma's apartment! We enjoyed the view of the trees and the river.

Very quaint old school motel in great quiet location. Not on a main strip. A little outdated and could use some minor upgrades. Definitely worth the price. I would stay here again.

the owner was nice but the motel is somewhat overpriced, convenient to stores but in a bad area. although it is 'on the river' you can't see the river.

The bed was so comfortable, I had a difficult time getting out of it. The room was substantial, with a nice balcony, The screen was effective and useful to allow cool evening air in. It was a very peaceful setting on the river. Good restaurants and supermarkets are close by.

We needed a place to stop on our way through Maine and Milford Motel was well reviewed. We found the reviews to be true. While not "new", this motel is immaculately clean, with friendly staff and affordable, generously-sized rooms. One of their two-bedroom suites would easily fit our family of 6. Comfortable and welcoming, Milford Motel was the best motel experience I've had. If we find ourselves near Bangor again, Milford Motel will be first on our list.

What a great place to stay. Easy to get in and out of, the room was clean and comfortable. My son and I even caught a few smallmouth in the river next to it. I definitely recommend it.

Very nice rooms, great to have a kitchenette. Great views out the back on pine trees along the Penobscot River. Great relaxing weekend. Even the art work in our room was attractive. Good parking lot too - easy to pull in, and easy to pull out. Menus in the room - couldn't ask for anything more

Excellent location for getting too and from events at UMaine.

Jane was wonderful. She even brought us extra supplies without us needing to ask. The room was the perfect size unlike most motels with limited space to move about. The motel has been around for a long time and upkeep was great. The ability to adjust the room temperature was also perfect. The view of the river was great. Wish it was summer I bet the big pines and river are just beautiful. Welcomed our lab with no problems. Would recommend!

This is a great little gem, close to Bangor shopping district that offered a Great accommodation setup with separate bedrooms and a pullout sofa bed - so can sleep 6 and directly on the river with its own full kitchen. GREAT VALUE and Great Staff. Had new carpet, did not smell musty, furniture good shape. Only the bathroom needed a nit of TLC but was certainly usable. We will be back for sure. Thank You

The unit was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a large stain on one of the bedspreads and the photos posted on the web site were a little misleading. We felt like we were staying in my 90 year old parents house.
