I enjoyed this beautiful hotel. The place was decorated beautifully for the holiday and the rooms were comfortable. However, many of the floors are closed due to renovations; including the second floor. There are stairs to take to the second floor that are not blocked off or noted they’re closed for renovations. My husband went to look around the second floor at the decorations and soon after was approached by a staff member who questioned whether or not he was a hotel guest in a rude manner. The staff member then proceeded to advise the second floor was closed despite no obvious signage suggesting this.
Overall, would stay here again for the comfort and luxury; not necessarily the service.

Carpets worn in spots, upholstered chairs that were stained and worn. The location is good and so is the bar. It is ready for an investment in a renovation. Better choices within easy walking distance.

Amazing restaurant on site with incredible food - I have eaten at many restaurants across the U.S., many Michelin stars and this restaurant was on par! Delicious food and cocktails. Also, just a cool space to explore, this hotel has so much history! It was a destination in itself and only a short drive to the airport, which was nice for our 6 a.m. flights. I will stay again if I am in the area once more. Room was clean, comfy, and quiet.

The staff was the main contributor to my review. Both of the front desk associates seemed as if I was bothering them. Starting off with the checkin process the associate was leaning on a stool and kept tossing the room keys as he tried to activate them. Slouching and not seeming to want to be there to accommodate his customers. The next time I had to ask for a new key and the associate seemed frustrated and wasn’t friendly at all.
There were plates and glasses outside other rooms for an entire day. My comforter had stained blood and makeup stains. Filthy room. The shower needs to be updated.
I booked my stay here because of the Excellent reviews for this establishment. I understand it’s hard to find good help but when your only hard working and friendly associates are the valet guys, you really need to do better with your training!
I would expect this from a Motel 6 but not hotel that I’m paying over 200 a night for.

The location was beautiful. The floors and bathroom in the room were not clean. The beds were beyond their lifespan and need to be replaced immediately. They are broken down and drooping. Time for new mattresses.

The historic value of this Hotel is wonderful, so many things to look at on the property. The location is in the middle of downtown that have been renovated, great places to visit and eat in walking distance.

Beautiful property, clean and comfortable rooms, and great food and drinks on site. The valet situation was a bit of a cluster on check out, but eh, I survived. Every worker was very nice and made me feel welcomed. The location is great with lots of restaurants, cafes, and breweries within walking distance. I didn't see any ghosts, which is part of the reason I booked the Skirvin, but it was still a great stay!

The architecture and lobby were both beautiful, and we appreciated how close the hotel is to the Paycom Center. It felt like an extremely safe area to stay in, and the walk to and from the Paycom Center was very easy. Our room was not as nice as expected. It just didn’t feel very clean, and the comforters on the beds were dingy and covered in stains. We would probably not stay here again in the future.

Very expensive and nothing really to offer in amenities. Only double beds, bar closes way early and crown molding decoration appears to be demonic!

I got up early on Monday to take advantage of the large gym and hot tub. There was lots of equipment in the gym but no yoga mats. The locker room was locked and I had to go to front desk to ask to have it unlocked. The lady clerk gave me such a hard time about that it gave me anxiety. She was very rude and snooty about it but did come down and unlock it for me. After I had changed and went into the pool room I discovered that they had emptied the hot tub over night. It had been working and was wonderful the evening before. I had every right to assume it was still in working order 10 hrs later and no one told me it was out of service before I went to all that trouble. There was a gross dirty rag left in the stairwell and there were a number of large hairballs scattered around the pool. There was no option to have housekeeping clean or restock the rooms during our stay. They just don’t do it until you leave. There was no fan in the bathroom and the beds are teeny tiny but comfortable. I grew up in Oklahoma City and have seen secondhand the progression of the property over the years including when it had been abandoned and lots of homeless people squatting there. But this was the first time I actually stayed there. There is no “tour” to find out more info about the history like I was told. Overall, I seemed to have known more about this property and ghosts stories than the people actually working there. Overpriced, I do not reccomend.

The Skirvin is a nice upscale property that is in the hearf of OKC. A hotel being the age it is has been very well maintained and met all of our needs.

We had a short visit, but loved the historic looking and feeling of this location. First time visitor of Oklahoma and enjoyed our one night of activities we did. Thank you for a great experience and awesome staff interaction.

Great historic place to stay. Easy walk to Bricktown and eats. Short walk to the Memorial.

The hotel is great. Good location. Staff is always helpful. But, they have eliminated coffee service in the lobby. We could find no options other than instant coffe in the room. Very disappointing. The restaurant didn’t even have coffee. I advised them we wouldn’t return until they solved the coffee situation. They said it was because the homeless were coming in to get coffee. That is unacceptable for a hotel of their stature. They eliminates guest services, because they can’t deal with the homeless.

One night stay. Our room was great! The food…not good. We tried ordering room service and twice someone canned this out room to tell us they didn’t have what we ordered. The manager was helpful and got the kitchen to cook a piece of chicken for us.

I’m at Diamond Elite level with Hilton so enjoy many of the chains rooms and amenities This property is historic with well appointed common areas however, a the guest rooms need a complete overhaul. Our group had a block of rooms that all shared shabby not chic furnishings. Sorry to say in spite of a notable Chef the on site property restaurant was a disappointment.
On a positive note the location was excellent as we were able to walk about to all attractions in beautiful downtown OKC. There are also many restaurant choices within a short distance.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful! I’m giving three stars for the parking situation. They charged us for parking in their parking garage and basically told me that the only way around that is to not have a car. I think it’s insane to punish people
for having a car. It was a nice stay, but we won’t be returning.

Lobby is beautiful but the room do not live up to the common areas. A/C was mediocre at best, a real downside in the South during late June. Furniture was worn and water damaged. Bathroom needs updating, and the provided bath products were nothing special. For the price there are hotels in OKC with much better rooms and amenities.

I love the historic Skirvin Hotel in Oklahoma City. The bar is fantastic and it is close to Brick Town and the Oklahoma Museum of Arts. Go see the Hollywood costume designer and four time Academy Award winner Edit Head exhibit this summer! The exhibit features interviews with Edith Head, her sketches, costumes from famous movies. They are also showing a ton of movies this summer featuring her costumes. Really great place!

The lobby is lovely the staff are lovely! I think his name is Matt. Night time FOH, such a kind man. But the skirvin really needs to step it up! It used to be the best hotel in OKC but now it’s super dated. I honestly should have given 3 stars but the location and rate are great. Simple updates could make this so much better.
Smart TVs, update the room decor or replace the carpet, upgrade the toiletries, supply, drinking water. And charge a little more!
