The history of the hotel
Had to pay for valet parking. Hair in the tub. Pillows too small and old. Room to small. Bathroom door had spring hinges and door didn’t open but 3/4 of the way and about knocked me down. No microwave.

We love the ambiance of the bar and music
The lobby is beautiful. The historic hotel is nice and we have stayed here many times
The bathroom is not up to standards. Caulking needing bad shape. The bath products were not good. Not up to standards of a hotel like the Skirvin We have stayed at this hotel many times but the quality of the bathroom was not up to standards for this quality of a hotel

The hotel was beautiful!
The staff at the front desk was very friendly, very helpful, any and everything I needed was perfectly and quickly delivered to my room. If you get a chance to meet Max and Ron who work 3rd shift you will find it hard to break away. I think Max's job is to make sure you are happy. That's it. And Ron who has been there over 17!years has stories about the hotel and celebrities he has met. One of my favorites is The stories of Jerry Lewis. And the photo in the lobby. Ron and Max are both very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel. We were there on vacation, but I would have been content just talking to them the 2 days we were there. Thank you so much guys for your patience and for the educational, yet entertaining time you allowed me to hang out in your lobby and making me feel like my time was your priority.
Oh , and I have to mention the restaurant/ lounge. Whoever the nice man was in charge of our breakfast. You made sure it was to perfection and served in a timely manner. I felt like a celebrity myself by the time breakfast was over
Even the valet guys acted as though we were their #1 priority. And didn't just do because it was their job. It seems as though doing your best with an authentic smile is the criteria you must pisses to work at The Skirvin Hotel. We are just ordinary people, nothing special. However during our stay we were made to feel like VIPs. Thank you for a wonderful experience.❤️
At my own fault I didn't look up parking prices. So the $30. a day I thought was a bit steep. For self parking. Valet would have been the way to go since it was only a couple of $ more.

Very nice, comfortable. And I enjoyed my stay

Beautiful historic property.
A couple of things in our room weren’t as clean as we would have preferred.
3.5
Unique building with lovely decor and bits of history everywhere. The valet staff were nice.
Front desk staff were not friendly. Never smiled and not helpful.

Beautiful historical property. Bed was extremely comfortable. Room was very clean and quiet. The only downside was the lack of a mini fridge. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Lack of a mini fridge is the only thing that I thought was lacking.

Clean room. Comfortable bed.
Reserved a room with two full beds, gave me a room with a king bed. There were two people in my party. Called to correct, they couldn't. Offered me a roll away instead. Ever slept on a roll away ?

I liked everything.

The restoration is amazing! I seek out historical hotels and this one definitely made me happy. Great price, too. The lobby and room was much better than I had expected. The room was large and very well appointed in period furniture. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to my midnight arrival. The sandwich I bought at the front desk was remarkably fresh and delicious. checked in a midnight, out at 8am. Really sorry I couldn't stay longer and explore everything this hotel has to offer.

I liked the look and the idea of a great experience. The valet staff were the only exceptional workers I encountered.
Paying good money to be unwelcome. There was no attention to detail. The front desk people, including their manager, were not friendly and ambivalent when a concern was raised.. When I called to make a request, it was not met, infact they just hung up the phone on me. At checkout, Jeremiah, the front desk manager, never asked me about my stay, his colleague asked the Caucasian couple how their stay was.. Jeremiah also ignored my requests throughout my stay, I wanted a robe and an ice bucket, but he never delivered them. No sense of pride in what they do...what a shame because I really wanted to like the place.I'll probably never return again. There are other hotels that do not care about your appearance and treat everyone with dignity and respect in the city.

The location is great. Very walkable. The AC in my room didn't function like you would expect and there was a lot of dust left on things like lampshades and the tops of things. The bathroom was very clean as were the beds. When I checked in Saturday it seemed the staff was a bit overwhelmed and/or overworked with how busy it was. They handled it well enough for me, but I'm probably not telling you anything you don't already know in that you probably need extra help. And the extra help needs to be compensated well for the job they do. OKC doesn't have great car service and no one was helpful with that, saying for me to just get an uber, which I don't use. I enjoyed the hotel over all though and think it's a great property for Hilton to have in it's repertoire. That being said it needs to continue to get the proper investment and care to keep it up and running for a guest like me who had never stayed there before to come away with expectations met.

Breakfast was adequate. There was a buffet or you could order off a menu. Service was a bit slow the first morning but improved on the second morning.
Parking was a little expensive but I think that was due to so little of parking space around the area.

I reserved a King Room.
I was given a room with 2 Twin beds.
Went to staff to request moving to a King room and the request was denied!!!
I chose not to stay and was charged $395.

Very nice, with loads of historical charm! The proximity to a lot of the Bricktown attractions made even more enjoyable! The Staff was very friendly and helpful! Definitely a place I'll return in the future!
No complaints, everything exceeded my expectations!

The ambience is great throughout.
Beds are comfy and room was spacious.
The halls are very wide.
Valet and front desk were fast and helpful.
Toilet ran...have to jiggle handle...The heating/air unit every 10 to 20 minutes, 3 knocks...
I slept, however my compadre, had issues.
Had plenty of hot water night before.
9am warm enough to wash hands...not shower.
I did address my concerns.

staff was amazing, room was amazing,
construction going on outside made traffic a little troublesome

The location was great. Our room was nice and had plenty of space.
the hot tub didn’t work properly. The room was not equipped with two robes. We called for room service and they brought one robe. We called again and they brought one without a belt. The red piano entertainment was late and it wasn’t even the pianist for Valentine’s. That was a disappointment.

Staff was great. Food delicious!
Beds were very uncomfortable! Did not like the feather pillows.

The hotel is beautiful and has a great location. Valet service people were great.
The staff could have been friendlier, for example when walking up to the check-in desk the first words spoken to me were, “Last name?” A simple “hello” would have made all the difference. I was then told by the same staff member that there were many restaurants in the hotel to eat at, with no further explanation. When I went to eat at the main restaurant, I was told they were reservation only. Then we (my 14-year old and I) walked to the open floor restaurant and sat down only to be told she couldn’t sit there as she wasn’t 21, and then found out that room service was our only option to eat in the hotel. This would have all been fine had there been a little more explanation at the front desk. We wound up walking to a nearby restaurant that was delicious.
There were also large stains on most of the linens, I’m sure they were clean, but those things just make you nervous when you don’t know where they came from.
