The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was nice and helpful.
3.3
Older hotel, rooms had an odor that smelled of urine. Not overly clean.
3.3
The area around the hotel looked a bit scary for 2 females but we had absolutely no problems. Room was comfy and clean.
3.3
Staff very courteous; breakfast very adequate;
2 complaints- entrance to hotel is very difficult to maneuver- you cut thru a run down hotel to get the very tiny again very small parking lot. They staff showed us where to park up beside the run down hotel that their desk camera monitored. 😱
The things that the staff could control were very well maintained.

Oh where to start... Ah yes. Never stay at this hotel if you have any self respect. This place is a pig sty. My wife and I stayed a few months ago at the Microtel in Bentonville which has changed ownership and is now The Block. That Microtel was decent. Clean and a very friendly staff. Rogers Microtel however is the opposite. Check in went smoothly but that's the only positive thing I can say about this place. We went to our assigned room and upon opening the door we were greeted by the most awful stench imaginable. There were dead flies on the window sill. I can only imagine that the either dropped dead from the odor or committed suicide to escape the situation. The window was cracked. The place just looked and smelled filthy. We immediately went back to check out. We were told by the woman at the counter that we needed to check out through Hotels.com since we booked through them. We called Hotels.com and we were told that they would have to get an approval from Microtel to get a refund and of course Microtel refused to give a refund. #1 never stay at this hotel unless you are into self abuse. #2 never book through Hotels.com because they definitely don't have your back. In all reality if Hotels.com gave even the smallest amount of crap about their business or the consumers that use their service they would not have this Microtel in their arsenal of hotels. I hope this review helps you make a decision if you are on the fence.

The neighborhood is not safe. Access to the hotel was direct. Had plumbing issues. Room was clean. Hotel was clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower was good. I will not stay again because of the surroundings and the rif raf around the hotel.
3.3
The room was clean, the bed comfortable. Unfortunately it smelled musty and it remained "humid" feeling the entire stay. Towels never felt dry etc. ice machine SO NOISY, slamming and banging of other rooms and doors. Could hear conversations in other rooms all night long.

It was an amazing stay there
3.3
I've stayed here a handful of times. Considering the price, it's a good place.
The property footprint is small, parking is tight most nights. Aw q
The complimentary breakfast has devolved since my first stay... They are now 100% Standard American Diet (SAD). No eggs, no meats, no significant source of protein, just an aray of carbohydrates. Great for promoting Standard American Diseases; Obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

Hotel was perfect. Just some late night noise from apartments behind.

First, there isn't a direct driveway into facility or even signage to help. When we got there the parking lot was full. I'm really not even sure if there would be room for parking if all rooms were booked. We had to park in a side area. Once we were walking in someone was leaving, so may husband moved our car closer. When we got in one of the desk workers rudely said 3 cars were double parked. I said yes, people are parked over lines and she said one of them is you. I said well there was only one spot due to the way others were parked and I asked if we needed to move. She stated that she wasn't sure if she could find out who the others were. I told her that we only had a few hours to sleep so if needed we would just move it now because we didn't want to go up to the room just to have to come back down. And she didn't respond, after a bit I said do we need to move and she said if we would. When we finally got to our non-smoking room it REAKED of marijuana. It was almost midnight and we needed to be up by 5 am, so we just dealt with it. I will admit, the reviews before I booked were 4 star, but this wasn't even a 2 star with everything combined. We weren't going to be there long since we were just trying to sleep a little after attending a concert. We did not need fancy or lots of frills, but this did not meet up to those expecations. The area that it is in is very sketchy. I would not stay here again and I wouldn't recommended it.

I think it had bed bugs. We had a 5 day stay planned but only stayed one night. Had a terrible inching the next day, still not sure why,
3.3
Incredibly sketchy neighborhood with what looks like a crack, pay by the hour hotel sharing a parking lot. I mistakingly reserved this room in Rogers because the Microtel Ive used for 20 years has changed names. Never again.

Great place to stay!

I am a seasoned "budget" traveler and I never expect bargain properties to be of three-star quality. And let me be clear the property itself is fine. However, I am shocked Microtel agrees to license this property because it is next to...and in essence shares a parking lot....with an incredibly run down apartment complex. It looks like it was a motel and is so obviously and transparently shoddy I am shocked it is even allowed to be inhabited. I am very used to run down areas, trust me, but this Microtel is just too close to what is obviously a hotel for the homeless. This microtel itself also seems to be a monthly stay hotel, but I realize that is common for budget lodging and I have stayed in such often. But even I was leery about the area and I am pretty well seasoned as an urban resident. The City of Rogers needs to condemn that next door motel (and a few more along that 7th street corridor.)

Good

Check in late
Room very tiny
King bed was size of double
Difficulty with key cards
Shady characters in and outside of hotels
Poor area
The only decent thing was the breakfast
3.3
Bad neighborhood

We were told the stairs were off limits because they were planning to fix them up or something. The toilet ran after flushing and there was some mold visible on the ceiling above the toilet.
3.3
Overall pretty average nothing spectacular but was clean and got the job done
3.3
The rooms were run down, the mattresses were stained and the carpets were dirty.
3.3
Reasonably priced and clean nothing more I need to say. It was a very pleasant stay were highly satisfied.
3.3
We didn’t have hot water and the bed was hard. We just needed it for sleep and it worked for us for a night, but wouldn’t stay again. Staff was very nice.
3.3
Ok enough place to stay. Was not terrible and worked for the night. It did have another motel beside it that was less than desirable and you have to go through their lot to get to the hotel but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Rogers generally is not an unsafe town so we never felt unsafe. It was decent for the cost.

The Best Breakfast
3.3
It’s an older hotel that’s been remodeled at some point. I didn’t mind what I got for the price since it was for a work trip. I wouldn’t want to stay with my family.
3.3
Average property but surrounding area is very very very sketchy
3.3
Dirty hotel with bugs down stairs by the buffet
3.3
We stayed 5 nights. The staff was great! The room was cleaned each day! The price was right!
3.3
The only suggestion i have is that you run a local TV station in the breakfast area instead of a politically partisan station, left or right. Made me feel like i had to take my food back to the room to eat in peace.
3.3
Neighborhood and parking lot was very sketchy. Did not feel safe leaving my vehicle outside. Found hairs in the bedding
3.3
No parking available, no toiletries, bugs in room and smells badly.
3.3
It was just a over night stay ,neighborhood was sketchy but the hotel was somewhat decent. I would only stay if it was the last place left... and the TV did not work ...internet did.
3.3
The hotel was good. The one that is next to it made us feel a little unsafe. We just tried to not be outside when it was dark due to that. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was minimal but what they did offer was good. The only thing that was not good was the bar of soap in the bathroom had been used and put back in the package, and they came and took our dirty towels when the note said that they would only change them out every three days. We stayed two nights and we are use to reusing the same towels twice. The room was clean otherwise and everything worked.
3.3
I liked the look of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful.
I didn’t like that there was no entrance to the hotel without going through another business that was very run down and looked unsafe. Also, upon checking into the room it hadn’t finished being cleaned.
3.3
Very dirty

We stayed the night the tornado hit. Staff was very accommodating and alerted us by knocking on doors and letting us know best places to shelter. We sheltered in the stairwell and the staff handed out waters to those that wanted some. The next morning, with no power, the staff still served a small breakfast.
3.3
The first room we were put in smelled like gas, so we had to beg to be moved. The next room was very mildewy smelling but at least better than the gas. No trash or anything repulsive, but I would definetly not pick to stay here again.
3.3
When we arrived at 11:30 p.m. to check in front desk staff told us Expedia had canceled our reservation and was completley booked. After speaking to Expedia, the hotel had canceled our reservation and did not notify us. The hotel entrance was hard to find from the road amd had a sketchy hotel next to it with lots of sketchy people roaming around it. Would never book with them again.
3.3
I would stay there again if i go back... it was just a bad week to travel up there because of the tornado
