Always a good stay here and staff are brilliant.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it exceeded every expectation! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. My room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with every amenity I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect, and the hotel’s facilities were top-notch – especially the gym and pool! I genuinely couldn’t fault a single thing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional hotel experience!

A real gem close to Plymouth and the staff could not have been nicer particularly the ladies on front desk. Enjoyed the swimming pool and had great evening meal in bar area.

It was a fantastic place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was worth spending quality time with my better half. Staff was very pleasant and friendly. Facilities were great-make sure to check the oasis leisure spa. Golf course look nice from our window.
Quite busy with the ongoing golf competition and a wedding reception but overall it was a fantastic place to go and spend the weekend with a loved one.
2.5
Great sized spacious room with well equipped en-suite. Would have been nice to have 2 armchairs rather than a small sofa to sit on with the space available.
Leisure facilities all included within the cost so nice to have a swim after travelling.

Friendly staff, good service, great stay

Beautiful surrounding area, staff super helpful. Room decor needs a little updating but would definitely stay again

The room was stiflingly hot, despite it being a mild night. Not a pleasant night's sleep.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. Lively views from our room and peaceful.
Our family room (number 35) was perfect for us and our two boys, with plenty of space and separte areas and TVs for adults and children.
We ordered room service, which arrived promptly and of cery good quality. There were able to cater for a gluten-free diet with no issue.
Breakfast was limited, with a small continental buffet and a basic cooked breakfast buffet. It would have been nice to see more local produce on the menu and more gluten-free options (even more packaged cakes, breads etc would have been better).
Overall a great place to stay and we will definitely return

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food in the brasserie was tasty and ok priced. The breakfast was ok. Small selection but good quality, unfortunately some of the crockery was dirty. The rooms were fine, but our en-suite was very small; comfy bed and good smart tv options. The grounds were nice to go and look around too. The hotel and swimming pool are tired overall and could do with some money spent on them. We chose the hotel because of the spa facilities but weren’t impressed by them. The ladies changing rooms were dirty and too small. Really awkward to sidle past half naked ladies to get to the badly positioned lockers! Jacuzzi was warm and incredibly bubbly. My husband enjoyed the sauna but said the steam room was extremely hot. Overall it was an ok stay but we wouldn’t return.

Always use this hotel. Needs a bit of an upgrading in the rooms but the location and golf Course are good.

Everything was really good, apart from the wi-fi which was at best awful

We were upgraded to a family room from a twin and it had a lot of room, much more than a previous stay in a standard double.
Breakfast was lovely, and we really enjoyed the pool.

The staff were very attentive all day and it made for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay

The grounds of the property were beautiful and great that it is dog friendly!
Unfortunately, due to noisy neighbours in the early hours of the morning (1am - 4am) and very thin walls/doors none of my group had a good night sleep at all!
Spa facilities were a little outdated but very nice to have on site!
I personally would not stay here again, but there were good aspects to the property.

I've returned to stay at this hotel, as it is based in a lovely woodland and has a lovely area to walk, and residents can join the gym classes and make use of the hotel gym and pool. Sadly I was not able to make use of any of the above this time due to work commitments.
Sadly the hotel wifi was dreadful for the 3rd time of staying and its resulted in me deciding not to return to stay here again. When I am away for work I need to have good connectivity to be able to do admin work and its never been available in any part of the hotel, rooms or bar.
The hotel overall could do with modernising, some of the rooms are quite basic and the breakfast could do with a better selection of cooked breakfast options. The only option is a classic english breakfast, which does not look very appealing.

Nice hotel if somewhat dated. Room huge though no desk. WiFi however terrible.

Amazing service. Room was beautiful and very clean. Food was delicious! Everyone was so lovely and will definitely go back!

Nice comfortable stay weather ruined my golf but hotel is always a pleasure to stay at

We had a modestly enjoyable time however we are disheartened by the revelation that breakfast was not included. This was partially annoying as it would cost us £14 regardless of what we ordered and since we as a family prefer to soully have toast this price felt unreasonable due to it bring a set unchangeable price. However this was only a minute and inconvenient part of our vacation and rest of the hotel was throughoughly enjoyable and quite adiquate

We had a wonderful stay at the Elfordleigh.

Terrible, avoid at all costs, I was charged for facilities that did not work. No one had responded yet to refund me, I keep getting fobbed off.

Room extremely cold.

Maybe it’s the time of year but the hotel was cold. Heating came on at 5pm in bedroom but we had kids back before then as dark outside. Swimming pool was very cold and locals said we should mention it as no one listening to them. Bar area was freezing. They put in a small fan heater for us but we went back to our room with our food. Breakffast was expensive but tasted ok. Limited menu in evening in bar. Didn’t try restaurant as thought better to eat in Plymouth. People were lovely and helpful. Woke up to banging and chatting every morning from what I think was golfer’s underneath. Don’t go there if you want Wi-Fi as it was terrible throughout the hotel. Sad to say but we will return to Plymouth but not to this hotel.

Lovely room in an amazing setting!

stunning hotel and location, such a shame I did t get to fully enjoy the facilities. I would have loved to of used the spa on site but I arrived too late. the room was huge with a lovely view of the golf course, the bathroom was dated bit huge and water pressure was good, would of been nice to have some bubble bath. The only small criticism would be that service was slow at reception and breakfast, breakfast wasn’t very well advertised. all good and drinks I had were great though and the staff were friendly.

Close to the moors

Beautiful grounds and the room was nice. Breakfast was a bit of a let down, as cooked options weren't great. But I understand that the kitchen was having work improvements, so I'm guessing the cooked buffet isn't a normal approach for breakfast. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Lovely location. Not far from Plymouth.
Good pool and nice rooms
