Really nice location.

Horrible experience. My stay at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel started off well, but it quickly turned into a disaster. On the second day, the hotel staff went on strike. There was no room cleaning, no room service, and the restaurant had no food for breakfast or dinner. For the $2,500 I spent on four nights, this was completely unacceptable. I expected far more from a hotel of this caliber, and the experience was beyond frustrating. I want my money back for what ended up being a horrible stay.

Excellent location for a pre-cruise hotel, plenty of lovely restaurants within a few minutes walk

Check in was easy but the receptionist could not program key cards for our room. We had to have security let us in our room and go back to front desk after dinner for keys.

Great view wonderful location. You can walk to everything puts my city to shame.
2.5
Convenient location to beautiful harbor, food/drinks and concert venue. We were only there for one night unfortunately. Would have loved to stay longer for sure! Will definitely book again!
(BTW this hotel had the best shower pressure we have ever experienced in a hotel stay. Just had to mention!)

It was an overnight stay. Room was nice and staff friendly.

Nice facility, helpful staff, good amenities

Small rooms, expensive stay. Best part of the place is the bar.

The parking was a hassle and i had to go elsewhere cause the lot was full. I ended up paying 60 bucks for overnight parking

Loved the credit at Starbucks!

Excellent business and cruise departure hotel. Great bar and restaurant scene surrounded by other excellent dining and entertainment options, including a nearby music amphitheater. Walking distance to an interactive revolutionary war museum and tea room.

Great location with beautiful views of the harbor. Spacious room though it's a bit dated.

Very nice hotel. Staff was professional and helpful. Pool was a bit of a weird setup but the kids still had fun. The beds were small and we expected queens but I'm sure we just missed that it was two doubles in the room description. The room was clean and the coffee was appreciated . Not much included everything is extra breakfast lunch dinner and even the internet you have to pay for. I've read a lot of complaints about the resort fee of $30 a day which we used and we're told that we would be reimbursed and had to pay in full when we used it out of our own pocket so I guess we'll have to keep an eye on the credit card for that credit. Overall I would recommend staying here and hopefully my review doesn't sound like I'm complaining I was just trying to give our experience.

It was an amazing stay l had a nice size room with a great view comfortable bed. A wonderful walk-in shower with a good draw and nice smelling sops and shampoo.

The hotel is conveniently located and easy to get to. Check in and check out was quick and easy also. Remember that you will be charged the "$30 Daily Destination Fee" regardless if you use the "so called" "Daily $30 food and beverage credit" regardless if you use it or not!! It's not really a credit, because YOU are actually paying the $30 after you check in so that the base rate looks more appealing when you first purchase your room. But it was a nice stay and the staff was nice too.

There was no microwave in the room, so i had to throw out all my food..😡😡😡. That was not nice.
I did not even check for microwave at the time of booking as all the previous hotels i stayed had it.
Other than this situation, it was a very pleasant stay.

Did have a question why the couch in the room did not face the window/ocean view

Amazing. Clean. Spacious. Good food

$30 a day activity fee automatically charged to the room was a surprise. I have heard of this before. We were reimbursed at breakfast each day. So if was not an issue as we were eating breakfast there each morning anyway.

The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of air flow system inside the bathrooms so the room is always humid. You get out of the shower and the steam gets inside the room. We had to open the door of our room to circulate air. Also they did not do our room one day. Overall everything is ok

The food was not good

Toilet had waste stuck to the bowl, shower water could not be directed to keep water actually in the shower. At checkout, the hotel adds a 30 dollar fee- that is never disclosed. There are many - much more refined and enjoyable hotels. Just avoid this place.

The restaurant in the hotel closes during the lunch period, (11:00- 4:30pm) only cocktails available. The room services was quick. But the choices were very limited. No breakfast options on the al la carte for room service.

There was a mix up at check-in where they gave me a room that was already occupied. No harm done, it was quickly resolved. I’m not giving five stars because they charge $12.95 a day for internet. I’ve never been to a hotel where the wifi wasn’t complimentary. Also, there were bottles of water in the room but they were $5 each. That was weird.

We had a great experience! The hotel was clean, quiet and friendly. It is right down by the water and so easy to walk around. We will definitely stay there again.
