The staff was awesome. They helped us with everything we needed (recommendations, instructions around the area, transportation)
The food was really good and the prices even better.
The room was simple but enough for what you need.
Free wi-fi available at all times.
I would definitely come back if I ever visit Calafate again.

The hotel sent is fabulous! The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and ready to help. The breakfast is delicious!
The location is within walking distance to the main street where everything happens (restaurants/shopping/store.)
The staff at front desk are very helpful with transportation, planning trip and offering suggestions.

Nice hotel with comfortable beds and decent restaurant however the location isn’t good, far out of town up a big hill. They also keep the rooms extremely hot all day and night.

The staff are awesome, the breakfast is good, we had dinner and it was good too. The hotel is close by the city center. Take a 5 min walk to some stairwell and walk downstairs to the center. We enjoyed our stay and we would stay there again.

Friendly staff and very close to bus terminal.

This was a good hotel to stay away from the crowds of downtown, yet close enough to go to restaurants, etc. There's a stairway down the street that leads right into downtown.

Good location, close to Main Street. The staff was helpful and kind. My only complaint was the paper thin walls, you could hear other guests at night. Breakfast was good. Note no Air Conditioning. You have to sleep with window open. Which is not ideal if you’re on first floor. I rated higher as the staff was exceptional and made our short stay easier.

Friendly staff and conveniently located near the bus station. It’s a little but of a walk to the Main Street yet has similar prices to those closer to town. Overall good stay.

Lovely staff, great hotel and decent restaurant. Unfortunately the room was very warm... I mean we had to have the window open and a fan blowing all night! But other than that mild inconvenience we had a great stay and felt very welcomed.

Bed sheets and towels were clean, albeit well worn and too short for the bed. Shower was clean but dangerous. Shower mat moved under your feet, and there was a soap dispenser made of sharp aluminum at arm height that could easily cut you.
Positives were reasonably close to town.

Old furniture, in wc there were some insects from humidity, some old parts of wood in interior - broken, room was hot, overpriced hotel. The only good thing was that is was near the bus terminal.

The hotel is a bit off the main area, but close to the bus terminal; great if you have to catch a bus early in the morning, as this is just a quick walk (don't have to incur additional costs for the transfer)

Hotels in Calafate are quite expensive.
This Hotel is located on the outskirts of Calafate. Main street is 8-10 minutes walking distance.
The hotel offered a good breakfast and staff was nice and bilingual.
Lunchbox and rooms could do a little improvement.

It was ok. Kind of dirty but cheap. So good with the bad.

This is a basic hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly. It is located about 1.5 km from the main part of town, so it is very quiet. Nothing really stood out about the hotel, but there was nothing bad about it either. I would compare it to a La Quinta Inn in the United States. Breakfast was included in the rate and was just the basic Argentinian fare of cold meats and cheese, bread, tea, fruit, juice, coffee, and undercooked scrambled eggs. I recommend renting a car for exploring the local area and the Perito Moreno Glacier.

The property is nice enough for a basic hotel. However, it is on a lonely street a 10 minute walk down to the main area of the town. The staff were nice and professional, but the facility and room are fairly basic. The entry area is spacious. The negative was that I was given a room on the ground floor that had been closed up all day and was uncomfortably warm. I assumed it would cool down in the evening, or there would be air conditioning. Wrong. I ended up opening up the windows at 2 AM for 30 minutes so I could get the temperature low enough to sleep.

There are a lot of stairs to climb to get to the Main Street or you could get a taxi and pay close to 60 pesos each trip. It is relatively close otherwise.

Great stay at the hotel. Amazing staff. If anything they could improve on their restaurant a bit as well as the comfort of the beds (we got a very hard mattress) but great nonetheless

The Cyan Calafate hotel is a basic hotel a little way from the center of town. It is clean, and the front desk staff are friendly. The breakfast was very basic (not as illustrated in the hotel photos on Expedia). When we stayed the water in the hotel was out, so we were unable to shower in the morning and the hotel did not provide bottled water or do anything to compensate us for the inconvenience. I realize that this is probably not a regular occurrence but the way the hotel handled it was disappointing - the management should have done more instead of leaving the desk staff with their hands tied.

We arrived at this hotel with a prepaid, non-refundable, guaranteed booking and were told by a fairly surly receptionist that they had no room and had thus booked another equivalent hotel for us. When I asked to see a room so that I could compare it with what we were sent on to, I was taken to a ground floor one which looked in need of redecoration and was drab if quite large. The breakfast area also looked in need of some care and attention and featured father unfriendly warning notices. Tbe hotel we were sent on to gave us a far smaller room, with few mod cons, but featured friendly and helpful staff. We ended up booking extra nights there at a cost of about £45 per night - rather less than our pre-paid fee to the Cyan Califate, paid through yourselves. Is there a way to claim tbe extra money back? The totally unapologetic attitude of the Cyans receptionist was very disappointing but what was worse was that we were presented with a fait accompli about where we were staying instead. If tbey had no room they should not bave accepted our booking and we would have been free to make our own decision about where we wanted to stay instead. Frankly the whole affair left us with a bad taste about both this hotel and Hotels.com!

facilities in the room is not maintained. hair dryer did not work. Safe was functioning properly and no instruction to use. Maintenance person came to open it, but he could not give instruction in English. After his demonstation, the safe failed to work again. Reception service is irregular, the gentleman who checked me in conscientious and friendly, the those in the later days were not very friendly at all. The location is too far away from any shops and restaurant. I had to walk twenty minutes to buy a bottle of water, let alone to get some food to eat, this was very difficult in the cold evening.
