The apartment was dated, but perfectly suitable for a week at the shore. The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful. I did not know ahead of time that this location was separate from the actual hotel and that the pool was a few blocks away from us.

I stood for a weekend and the whole experience was positive. Check-In and Check-Out was easy. Staff is very friendly. I would totally recommend this place. I will be returning mysellf. The only thing is I wish the rooms had more outlets for electronics.

The little house I rented was nice. Had to go buy bath towels, paper towels,but that wasn't a big deal. Interior was clean, nice. Could tell it was updated. Great for family. The exterior needs help. But it looks like the area is in updating mode.

The anchor motel was perfect for my quick beach getaway. The staff and owners are such a sweet family. The room was very simple but it was clean, the shower had great water pressure, the A/C was cold, and the bed was comfortable! I was super cozy in my room. I will be returning and I already recommended the place to a few friends!

We stayed in the Deluxe Suite and were pleasantly surprised how roomy it was compared to the pics. Overall very clean, comfortable beds and easy access to the boardwalk. Only downside was a couple of nights/early mornings young kids upstairs stomping around overhead but that is the parents fault! Hosts were great. Thank you Anchor for an enjoyable stay!

Not what that picture shows open door to room and it’s 2 beds and bathroom with mini fridge and one chair that’s it no room to move around the pool fit 6 people in it. Also it’s next to police and fire station shares parking with them.

Pretty nice motel close to the boardwalk and beach. Does not have beach passes, but isn’t the biggest deal. Parking lot was a little tight but there was always somewhere to park. Close enough to the beach where it’s walkable but also far away enough to not hear all the boardwalk noise. Bathroom was a little small but everything was clean. Overall a decent price if you’re looking for something clean and close to the beach/boardwalk. Would definitely stay again!

Room was clean, bathroom was roomy and it is right next to the police station which is safe. Staff was also very friendly. The only complaint is that there were no chairs outside of our room to sit on and all the other rooms had chairs. Will definitely stay again!

Overall our stay at Anchor Motel was great, however there were some stains on the sheets and comforters which didn’t bother us much since we brought our own blanket. The bathroom was surprisingly very clean but the toilet was a little wobbly.

It was a smaller room but just fine for my boyfriend and I. The service was great very friendly and even went above and beyond to offer us parking for our last day so we could get back on the beach for a few hours. The only downside was the towels and some other things in the room looked a bit dirty. But nothing to crazy still had a wonderful time!

Worst place to stay, the place wasn’t even at the anchor motel, they took me to a house, they were having party upstairs people were trying to break in while I had kids. This was the worst stay i ever had at any place. They overcharge for every stupid thing, I stayed one night and that’s one night too many, I didn’t sleep because the people upstairs were jumping around and acting all crazy, worst stay I could ever imagine. I didn’t get an ounce of sleep. Cheapest furniture you can imagine, no towels as well. I’ll never go back

For a one night stay it was a good room. We had a problem with the people upstairs stomping around until about 3:30am until I had enough. I called the place she said she’d get in touch with the security guard. And immediately they stopped upstairs. When checking out the woman at the front desk said we could leave our car in the parking lot if we were planning to go to the boardwalk which was so nice, it saved us some money of having to pay for parking. This place was I believe 3 blocks from the boardwalk which lead you right to the pier. All in all I’d stay again for a short trip.

We had a wonderful time. My two adult children and I just wanted to take a weekend getaway to the sea. The motel felt like home and the boardwalk was a few blocks of walk away. Definitely would stay there again. It felt safe and secure right next to a police station. The owner was so nice. The motel room had everything we needed.

Place was horrible. Door would not lock correctl, the owner argued with me until I showed him myself how easy it was to break into with a CC. He did temporary fix then walks away and doesn't apologize for the inconvenience. Peope piss on the outside of the building on the Major road side. Walls are paper thin. We would never stay there again unfortunately.

I stayed for one night on a spur of the moment mid-week beach trip. Be sure to check the total with fees. An advertised rate of $109 was over $150 total. The double room I stayed in was clean. The deadbolt did not lock and the security chain was too short to actually slide in place. The window AC unit was powerful and kept the room comfy. Shower was hot and good water pressure. The toilet was nearly unusable. I’m a tiny person and had to sit side-saddle to use it or my knees banged into the wall. If you arrive late or don’t have a compact car, you will park across the street and down the block. There is no coffee maker in room and no coffee provided by the hotel. WiFi was not functional during my stay.
