Thin walls and hard noisy bed. The bed was very uncomfortable and made a lot of noise when you moved amd you could traffic drive by and people outside talking. I was even in a room furthest from the road and I could still hear the noise. I couldn't sleep on that bed maybe got 2 hours of sleep and decided just hit the road instead of waiting for check. If needed to be able to drive home that day and 2 days of sleep was not going to cut it of I stayed any longer. Would have been a nice day trip and to astoria and skip the room. I would have had a better night sleep that is for sure.

Staff was exceptional! Views weire great.
The mattress wasn’t the most comfortable compared to other Motel 6’s we have stayed at.

Front desk people- aloof and bordering on rude. Like I offended them by interrupting their peace by checking in and out.

The hotel is dated, but not bad. The staff is friendly. Our room didn’t have a shower curtain and the desk person brought one to our room. The pillows do need updated. We went and bought one for night 2, but other than that, not bad.
We stayed in one of the back rooms with a nice river and bridge view.

Front desk staff was unfriendly & witnessed them being rude to another guest as we were checking in. Porch light was so bright it lit up the whole room since the blind was missing and the blackout curtain didn't cover the edges of the window. No in room coffee. Outside was a lot of wood rot and one of the supports for the balcony/stairs looked like it would collapse at any minute. We were next to a busy road and it was extremely noisy. Also, the mattresses were horrible. None of us got much sleep. I would not stay here again or recommend to anyone.

We were greeted by a fantastic owner but things went downhill from there. I don't mind staying in a Motel 6 because they are usually well kept. This one was no different.
However, the beds were awful! And I mean awful! Other issues inside the room......the refrigerator had a huge chunk of ice in the freezer area and decided to defrost overnight and flood the floor. And the floor in the bathroom needs torn out and replaced. I'm 270 and felt like I was going to step through the subfloor in several places. Overall I guess you get what you pay for but I have never slept on a bed this bad before.

Very good stuff!

You’re staying at a motel 6. The property felt safe, the room had good AC, the fridge and TV were in working order, and there was coffee and hot water provided each morning. The staff was pleasant and helpful.
The room was fine though it had paint rubbed off some spots on the walls, the shower had a few hairs on the wall that weren’t mine, and I left a dirty towel on the floor hoping it would be changed for a clean one but it was folded nicely and put back with my other towels.
The only real issue I had was the outside lights made the room way too bright at night. The blackout curtains were missing and the light flooded the room with brightness. (Great lighting for safety concerns). I did use an extra blanket to block some of the light but should have asked for two blankets to block more light. Next time I’d bring an eye mask as well.

Pretty sketchy place. We had no problems but wouldn’t stay here again or as a single lady.

Very very hard beds & paper thin pillows! Shower appeared dirty, therefore didn’t use it. Other than that, it was an okay stay!

At this hotel, they still clean your room every day; such a surprise after being in really fancy hotels where they leave you a message that they are trying to save water and will clean your room every three days unless you specifically request differently. We had clean towels, and a clean bed every day!

Property a bit rundown but in a great location.

We stay here once a year and have always been in the main building with a great view. This time we were in the older building, view of parking lot and noisy beds.

Easy access and parking, very friendly staff, and the room was quiet with all the essentials provided.
The mattresses were widowmakers for 3 of our group of 4 (I don't mind firm, but everyone else woke up somewhat disabled), and the ice machine could use some tinkering if ever you need more than a single glass of ice at any point.

It’s a stone’s throw from the waterfront. Our room had a great view of the bridge and the Columbia River.

This is the worst motel I've ever been to. Facing the road, the outside of the building is beat up and unkept. There's a big room between the building wings out front that looks like it might be a pool, but no, if you look in the window, it's dirty, full of junk and abandoned. My room was around the building where things looked a little better, until you opened the door: it reeked of smoky, dank, uncared-for unclean room. (I had requested a non-smoking room). Paint was peeling and scuffed off the wall, (I also noticed this behind the front desk and on the stairs out front), and the big single pane window looked out at the deserted back, facing the river. Nicish view, but given the neighborhood and surroundings, I wouldn't feel safe in a ground floor room without bars on the windows. I had to tell the front desk I wanted to cancel my stay. They said okay, but that they couldn't refund my money because I went through Expedia: I would have to take it up with them. So, at the risk of losing my $150, I left. ( I'm a person of limited means, but this place was so bad, for my own health and safety, I had to leave, not knowing whether or not I would be able to get a refund). I will be contacting Expedia to see what can be done, but I had no choice but to leave and go somewhere else.

The room was clean and comfortable. The view of the bridge over the river was beautiful. The entrance to our room was in back away from the highway, so it was quiet, and we could park right outside the door to the room, which made it convenient for bringing luggage in and out.

Room was ok and clean. Bed was very hard. I didn't mind that the soap bars were 1 oz.
There was no shampoo or kleenex. I do expect that with a $175 room.

Room was decent but exterior desperately needs renovation. Office staff were not friendly at all. Trolley station was convenient.

Very typical motel. Not much in the way of amenities - only bars of soap. No shampoo, tissue paper, etc. But clean and comfortable for a night's stay. Behind the motel is the riverside walk and the Astoria bridge that connects to Washington.

View was amazing! Room was clean, but take your own Kleenex, and hair dryer! Extension cords hanging all over the walls to reach the outlets, the floor slopes to the door, and the pool is abandoned. It is clean, has a view, and cheap! 🎅

Parking was very tight. The room was dated and the bathroom floor was dirty in the corners. The walk to the bridge for a sunset picture was safe. The staff was friendly for the most part. The room was spacious.

There were no toiletries or hair dryer in the room but I travel with those just in case. The location is convenient. I walked to dinner at Bridgewater Bistro.

There was urine around the toilet . They didn’t clean it …. I had to get gloves and clean it myself

Very nice. Motel 6 and 8 are good in Oregon unlike in Iowa, SD, ND, NE, or WY.
