hotel was very dated, room was VERY SMALL. we had 3 people in a 2 double bed room, we couldnt all be standing/walking around at the same time without bumping into each other. hallways were dirty, carpets were worn.

Beautiful property but we weren’t aware of the bugs this time of year. We had a total of 9 in our room. The pool area could have been cleaner. The floor was dirty by the hot tub. On the bright side, the bed was super comfortable and the jacuzzi tub was wonderful. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

Very nice hotel up on the mountain can overlook the historic town of Keystone walkable. The room was clean. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was good but they did run out of biscuits… would definitely stay again

Cute town, old but kept up hotel. They advertised a suite with a Rushmore view. The only view was two heads from the parking lot. The suite had a love seat with a tv across from it as the living area, the kitchenette had a tiny mini fridge, microwave and tiny sink. The beds were comfortable. I guess it’s understandable as it’s a short season.

We stayed here 6 days. Our room was never cleaned. The only way we got towels was taking them off the maids cart. The place needs and upgrade on services.

The room and property was clean. One of the beds was broken, the sink leaked and it felt like there was a hole in the floor of the balcony. The pool area was very run down and dirty. The breakfast was great. I’d stay here again, just not in the same room.

It was a horrible experience. The hotel was NASTY and GROSS. We would not walk on the floor without shoes. The hotel has had an outside makeover but the inside is awful! The room we were given had the window open, which was at the indoor pool. The room smelled of chemicals (Clorine) and was hot. There was a motorcycle event and ALL parking was taken up by their vehicles and trailers. I would never stay there again!

The double room economy was very small. The breakfast room was to small for the amount of people they had staying there. It was a mess when we got there at 8:30 a.m. to eat. We did get room service when I requested it on paper as they asked.

The room need someone to stabilize one of the bed frames, they were very busy & forgot to give us wash clothes & when we woke up at 3:00 am the town around the property had lost power but by the time we left at 4:00 am, power was restored so we don’t know what happened.

The front desk staff seemed to be more worried about looking at their phones or being outside smoking their vapes! The indoor pool deck was never cleaned once as the same balled up wet Kleenex was In the water on the deck the entire stay and the false finger nail that fell off of some one was also never cleaned up. Front end staff seem rolled thier eyes when asked for fresh towels like i was putting them out asking them to get them for us, only reason we stayed here was it was during the Sturgis bike rally and if we left after the fist night we were rudely told that they would still charge us the entire costs ! Overpriced and not clean !

We asked to switch rooms after the first night because one of the beds was uncomfortable. The staff was very polite and switched the room and it was no problem. We liked the breakfast. It wasn't anything special but it was nice to eat there each morning. The parking lot was well lit. The hotel is on a hill and there is a view of Mount Rushmore from the outside dining area. That was very nice.

Nice hotel, room was surprisingly small but worked for us. Our biggest problem was the breakfast. It was very busy but it was a mess. Garbage all over and things were empty more than full. Most of my family ate but worst breakfast in our week long trip.

The property was okay. The bedsheets and pillowcases were dirty, all of them had at least one dirty spot which made me really uncomfortable to sleep on. The facility is a bit old. The microwave and refrigerator in every room is amazing.

Staff were friendly and the continental breakfast was a nice perk. We booked a king bed room, and when we got the room the ac did not work. They were out of kings so we had to be moved to a different room that was cheaper than the room we booked with no compensation. That was a big negative for us. Just realize that you may not get the room you book when you arrive.
