Comfortable stay. A few suggestions to improve: - Add sheer blinds instead of only black out shades. - Add microwave, especially since breakfast is not offered - Add better lighting at the vanity. The two can lights overhead are bright, but the done shine on the face, so hard to see for makeup. - could use more or better decor. Kind of bland as it is.

There was no microwave oven in the room. That was terrible! I cannot believe they renovated this whole place with no microwave oven! Unbelievable! Without this amenity, we will no longer stay here.

We stayed just one night. The room was clean. The room was huge. It had a lovely balcony which we would have used if it wasn't December.

The staff was friendly and rooms were clean, the hotel was currently under remodel so the jacuzzi was not in service at the time, but the pool was fun. The entire town had a power outage during our stay so it was an unusual experience while checking out in the dark. Overall it was great experience because the staff were friendly and it was great how they dealt with the circumstances.

The rooms are huge and very clean. The pool is large, warm, and my kids loved it. The jacuzzi was down for maintenance which was a bummer but it didn't take away from our stay. There was a balcony that overlooked the bay and it was beautiful. The day we were to check out, my son had an appointment he forgot about that was scheduled for 11 am online. Checkout was also scheduled for 11 am. I called the front desk and the manager and requested a late check-out and they obliged without hesitation. Then came the earthquake followed by the tsunami warning. One of the most terrifying experiences of my life. The staff - especially the housekeeping staff - were all so kind and sweet, making sure I was updated. One housekeeper in particular, a gorgeous young girl, came to find me after they cancelled the tsunami warning, seeing my son first and asking for his mom, to let me know that we were all okay. The value of this place for the price is spectacular. We will definitely be going back!

Clean, updated decor and furnishings. I'd stay again, but the beds have innerspring mattresses and aren't very comfortable. With every single move my partner made, the bed would shake. This, coupled with the noise of the oldstyle heat/air wall unit cycling on and off, I slept very poorly. If you are a heavy/deep sleeper, it probably won't bother you.

Hotel walls are too thin. We had a very loud neighbor that we called the front desk about twice. They did nothing. Parking lot was a mess. Just all looked old and run down.

We Always Stay at Edgewater Inn and Suites whenever we come to Coos Bay. The Edgewater is very comfortable and has recently undergone an extensive remodel. We were happy with our room. It was up to date and we appreciated all the appliances in the room. We enjoyed our stay.

The property should have gave. Notice that the water main had broke, and there was a boil water advisory. That ice machines were down. You could not make coffee and because there was no water, no continental breakfast. If I had known this ahead of time, I would not have stayed there.

The front desk staff was amazing. The manager and asst. helped maneuver my credit that hotels.com was trying not to honor. I had accidentally booked 2 hotels the same night when I was trying to book the next night so when I arrived they said I was scheduled for last night. The management was so helpful

Just as advertised! Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, all as you expect. The only downside is that the Wi-Fi was a bit weak throughout our stay. Grocery across the street was also pretty convenient.

Decent older two storey hotel that has been recently renovated. The landscaping around the hotel has not been redone yet. It is located near an industrial area but there is a new Safeway and Fred Meyers very close by. All in all a reasonable place to stay.

When we first drove in to the parking lot we were a bit unsure about this property. Thankfully we were relieved to see the interior is nicer than the exterior. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Price seemed a bit high. We only spent one night here as we were just passing through the area so we did not see or use any amenities.

Location is next door to a Safeway with Fred Meyer across the street so when we pulled up I was a bit concerned. However the property was well kept and clean room appeared recently remodeled and staff was great.

No elevator, a long walk and climb from the parking lot to our 2nd floor room. Coffee 24 hrs but no breakfast which was unusual for a large hotel. Remodeled room was very nice. Liked the patio. Shower had no shelf for shampoo or soap. Ice machine was a long way, the one near our room was out of order.

The front desk person was in the parking lot as we entered to check in, she yelled from the parking lot “are you guys checking in”? She followed us inside to check in. As we were checking in another guest came in to tell her that her tv was still not working, she stopped to argue with her. Our tv did not work, and after 3 visited from”Danny” we moved rooms staff is not trained in customer service at all, don’t stay here!

Véry noisy, rude guests at the same time we were there. The walls are thin, and noise echoes throughout the hallways. it just so happened that we had very loud neighbors who didn't care if they disturbed others, especially between the hours of 2am to 5am!
