Next to the river and close to stores!.
The hotel is under renovations , lots of construction and workers and such! Pool was closed for a week because of chemicals??? When it’s rainy and cold and you have kids a pool is a godsend wish we had known before we booked!. Overheard several customers complaining that they booked a king with a jacuzzi and the front desk said they had all been taken out of the rooms and those were old ads on Travelocity and other hotel apps?, also heard several people asking about free breakfast which I guess use to be under the previous owners!.

Our room was newly renovated.
The walls/doors were so thin you could hear the people next door and in the halls so clearly it was like they were in your room. So noisy. I felt security was lacking doors to outside did not latch or lock. Much of the motel seems to be under construction. Beds were super soft and not comfortable.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Great location, center of everything.
The pool was closed for service and no notice about it, also half the rooms were closed because of repairs again not mentioned when I booked. No water views for a king bedroom either.

DIe ganze Location ist schon ehrlich gesagt in die Tage gekommen ..... aber für eine Nacht hat es uns getaugt und morgens die Aussicht auf die kleine Bay ist nicht zu verachten ....

Clean room, nice staff, comfortable beds, great location
Not finished with remodel/improvements but Rome wasn't built in a day!:)

Our room was newly renovated, clean, and comfortable with a spa-like feel to the bathroom due to its new fixtures, rain showerhead, and large new towels. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated that the lamps contained built-in electrical sockets (bring your cubes) for phone charging and running my husband’s CPAP machine. We enjoyed the huge new TV and downloaded a couple of our favorite apps to watch some shows. Although there was no landscaping in back, we had a small porch and water view, which was nice. The indoor pool is open, and there was a small exercise room with a treadmill, stationary bike, and elliptical. The hotel was convenient to Highway 101, the front desk was friendly, and there was a Safeway just across the parking lot to serve our snack needs. We would definitely stay here again.
The hotel does not have any sort of breakfast available, although there is 24/7 access to coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby. Be aware renovations are ongoing throughout the hotel and there are boxes and supplies in the hallways, but they really didn’t bother us or interfere with enjoyment of our room.

Location. Well appointed although old decor.

It was being renovated but our room was complete. The second floor room was vaulted and very nice. We were allowed a roll away bed and the room
Was very spacious.

clean and quiet. Not far from the beaches and local shopping and near by restaurants. 2 major grocery stores within walking distance.
The room had a weird layout with the closet being kind of in between the door and the bed. They were having tv cable service problems and we only received 1 channel for the 2 nights we were there. They offered a $20 credit but haven't received any conformation regarding the refund.

Staff was friendly. Location was good
The room stunk of smoke. The bathtub dripped. The didn't bother moving is when I told them right away about the stinky room.

Comfortable room for our needs.
Construction down the hall.

The view from the room was nice.
I didn't like that the property was under maintenance and it wasn't updated on booking.com. We traveled for a graduation and chose Edgewater upon the amenities that ended up not being available. I was very upset that we were charged full price.

this place is in an odd location neighboring Fred Meyer and Safeway. But we were just passing through and was pleasantly surprised to have a little patio overlooking the river. Which was located on the other side of the building.
most of the flooring was a tile/linoleum type thing and it was pretty grubby! I'm sure the staff does their best. But this just put me off most hotels. If you have a floor it needs to be washed.

The property is in a good location with many stores and restaurants in the area. There is a nice pond/lake in the rear of the room. There is also a nice outdoor sitting area.
The room entrance is was a little bit dark. It could use a stronger light
The television was not functioning. Apparently, there was an internet problem earlier in the day. It is appears to be a property that is being rehabbed.

Accommodated to first floor room
Staff was disheveled due to renovation inside and out.

Very friendly staff. The hotel was being updated but was still easily accessible. The breakfast buffet was great and kept clean by a very sweet, friendly lady.
Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
The view was advertised as a river view, which it was. But it had a limited view. Not a big deal. We would stay there again.

Clean up
8.0 / 10.0
The rooms were large and clean and we had a great view. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating. It was in a good location right next to a grocery store and restaurants.
They were remodeling which caused a few problems but not much. The hot tub wasn’t open which was a bummer. The housekeeping was the worse part of our whole stay. We stayed a week and only on our last full day did they actually do anything in our room. They never cleaned our room or replenished our room supplies. We had to ask them for new towels and took our own trash out. Once a housekeeper opened our door without knocking. We were in the middle of getting ready for the day. Had they done their job our stay would have been perfect but I can only rate this hotel a 5 out of ten.

Clean, quiet
4.0 / 10.0
There is a nice view of the river, which is not exclusive to this hotel. The location was good, although it feels like it is in the Safeway parking lot.
The heated indoor pool was broken and there was no plan to fix it anytime soon. There were no laundry facilities. There was no breakfast. But the worst was the smell of the room. It made us all sick every time we entered the room.

We were unable to stay there. The entire facility was being renovated, covered in plastic, dust, etc. It would have been too difficult for my 86 year old mother to spend even one night. Very disappointed!!

the staff was great
the hotel is currently under construction. the pool was closed and the HVAC system in the room did not work making it very hot at night to sleep. Gave feedback at the front desk but nothing was fixed during our stay

No elevator, smell of paint, bathroom floor was slick (almost fell) same with bathtub. Didn't get water view even though I paid extra.
5.0 / 10.0
Bed was comfortable and the view.
No shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Only one wash cloth. No plug ins for phones. Didn't get any info on the TV channels or code for the pet area. Had to call or go ask for it.

Booked this room for a 5am fishing trip the next morning. Check in was fast and we were given a first floor room as requested
Pricey for an average room and beds don't have enough support.
