A horror story, pls avoid: Disgusting bathroom, soiled bathmat, bathtub that has a hollow support, sad-looking thin bath towels, no cleaning service, dingy lighting, no hot water, the list goes on. This riad also gave us the wrong room the first night, and owner did not apologize or see a need to compensate us for the inconvenience. Very puzzled by the good rating. We recommend a no for this riad. In contrast to owner, staff tried to be helpful by packing a breakfast for our early check out and bringing suitcases down - which was thoughtful.

The property lists free parking as an included benefit, but has no such parking to offer. When I asked where to park my vehicle I was told to find a place on the street. That is not free parking. Despite an empty hotel, I was given a room on the fourth floor of a hotel with no elevator, which felt unhelpful. The building is a gem, which is worth seeing as an example of local and period architecture. It is difficult to find and should probably come with arrival instructions.

This is an absolutely beautiful property with a lot of charm and exquisite details. The rooms are clean and comfortable with views of the gorgeous indoor atrium. Breakfast is delicious. And the property is located within walking distance of the shops (though it is a maze to walk through so you should get a guide). the staff is very friendly and helpful, though this is not a 24/7 type of place. The property manager is only available during business hours and there is no easy way to find help if you need it. That said, the staff knocks themselves out to be very helpful and treat you like family and I think they keep their eyes out to see if you need help.
The two challenges with this property are (1) getting to it. If you try to come using a red cab, those cabs cannot enter this area of Fes. you will need a private car or another type of taxi service to get you to the property. also, GPS gets mixed up in this area and may direct you to a different property which looks adjacent the but the streets are a maze and it can be difficult. Best to contact the property to get guidance on arrival and departure. and (2) there is no elevator. there are narrow stairs to get to rooms. But the staff help you with your bags. Just tough if you have bad knees. Other than those two details, this property is well worth finding and staying in! Architecture and friendliness you may never experience anywhere else.

This design, location and service at this riad are fantastic. The decoration of the place is beautiful, it is on one of the entrances to the medina, and the people who run it are great.
Highly recommended!

The Riad is beautiful and extremely well managed. The staff is very friendly and try to help you avoiding scams from outside merchants. I would highly recommend this place to anyone interested in Fez. The location is central but has a nearby parking.

This was one of three raids we stayed in while traveling through Morocco and this one was our favorite. It was clean, beautiful and Adeel was a dream!

Our waiter was much more than just that. Ayoub took excellent care of us and the breakfasts on the roof were great. We Riad picked us up at the train station. The Riad location is good and we were able to get our bearings pretty fast. Beautiful place and very clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful reception desk. Highly recommended, good choice for Fez.

Totally amazing. Younes is fantastic. The photos do not do the hotel justice. The location is easy and convenient, and the architecture of the hotel is magnificent

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were pleasant and kept the place clean; great if you don't require a lot of directions, and are mostly self-sufficient. This is not a 4-star hotel by western standard but don't pass on it based on mere ratings. Hotel is also tucked away in part of the medina's many alleys so make sure you remember your path in order to get back. We had no problem and it's short walk (subjective - if you are one of those that drive everywhere you go and use hop on/off tour buses, then the walk can be a bit more than you're used to - but still walkable, I think) from the main medina area, shops and the Blue Gate.

Such a magnificent Riad, my jaw dropped as I entered. I stayed in one of the large suites overlooking the courtyard and felt like a queen, I recommend staying in the suites as a treat to yourself. The service was also wonderful and from where the taxi dropped me off, it was easy to find on my own as there is good signage and its only a short walk to find it. Dinner and breakfast is served on the rooftop and the dinner was absolutely delicious, I struggled to find a nice restaurant in Fez so it just made life easier in that respect.I do recommend taking a guide with you through Fez, the Riad can arrange one for you. I found it difficult to explore on my own, its easy to get lost and I got a lot of hassle.Definitely recommend this Riad, it was the best part of my stay in Fez.

Having stayed at several Ryads along Morrocco this one was the one we liked the least. All is good but it lacks that personal touch and attention to detail. The rooms lack privacy and are dark. One day for breakfast they served us had eggs that were spoiled. Not worth the money you pay.

We have just spent the most wonderful 2 days at Riad La Perle. Being first time visitors to Fez to be honest I thought we had made a terrible mistake as the exterior of the property gave no indication whatsoever as to what the inside would be like. Firstly Riad is the name for palace and believe me it was...once inside the door. we were blown away be the beauty and WOW factor of this palace built in the 1800s from memory. Fully renovated with no expense spared. Our bedroom was out of this world with the grandeur of royalty. The room rate inclusive of a rooftop breakfast represented exceptional value. This is not like a western hotel... It is a room with everything in what was a private home or palace. From the outside it looked as ordinary as the other buildings in the alley. Very close to the Medina also. Not suitable for young children as no exterior to play in just a a towering inner courtyard with the most amazing mosaics and antiques...too many narrow stairwells for those with limited agility. Dinner can be ordered by prior arrangement and although we did not have it, I bet it would be as tasteful as everything about this place.

This beautiful riad has soaring ceilings, unique rooms, cool terrace and great staff. It's also very close to the medina. The staff is friendly and helpful in making sense of what can be a very confusing place. Highly recommend.

A lovely B/B inside the medina in Marrakech, Riad Kherreidine provides the best service in the city. Two lovely hostesses take care of guests needs 24x7. Would gladly return any time. If you can find a spot dont think twice, grab it.

Difficult to find without help, but otherwise in a good location less than ten minutes walk from Bab Boujeloub. Very clean, well maintained, and authentic-feeling riad in an excellent state of repair with lots of plasterwork and a couple nice ground floor kiosks and couches. Mint tea, coffee, and patisseries on arrival were a little expensive compared to local rates but well worth it for the convenience and relaxation of the lovely rooftop terrace. Fairly quiet and peaceful surroundings with only a small amount of low key noise from the neighbours. The staff were very helpful and accomodating and the pricing was very reasonable for the standard.

We spent part of our honeymoon in Morocco. This riad was the most beautiful interior we saw. It is simply stunning. We had a very large room that could've easily slept 4-5 people (3 couch/day beds and large king). The breakfast was very nice. The neighborhood is a little scary as are most of the medina's side streets but we felt safe when we got used to the directions to the main street and Blue gate. If you don't mind a short walk to the markets, perfect. DO take a taxi from the airport- ask the riad to arrange it- we travel a lot and this would've been challenging to find as streets are poorly marked.

Stunning, beautiful, traditional Moroccan house in the medina (Fes' old town). Staff very friendly and helpful. Somewhat tucked away, but not too difficult to find (Googlemaps helpful).

Super friendly staff - would go out of the way to help out. Location is easy (which is a relative term in Morocco). Close to Petit Cab hangout, can tell any cab to take you to the Maison Blue or Hotel Batha and it's a few blocks away. Restaurants, pharmacy, convenience store, Meditel store are all very close. If you want to try staying in the Medina (old city), this is a good place to start. Close to the Blue Gate, Batha Museum, and the Inani Mardrassa. Terrace on the roof top is a great place to relax and see all of Fez, as well as many of the main sites from a distance (Borj Nord, Merenid ruins, several of the madrassas, the sprawling cemeteries). Stayed in the top floor; room would have a smell accumulate from the sewer, bed was super hard, I found it uncomfortable. Very clean place, very pretty - especially the courtyard. I arrived by train (14 Dh ride), but the drive out to the airport takes a good half hour. Amazing cookies at the welcome, food was consistently quite tasty, if rather limited in selection.
