The room, hotel and staff were fine. The breakfast was surprisingly bad, even worse than a Best Western if you can imagine that. And I am not a picky eater or gourmet, I eat all kinds of crap when traveling. Both the cheese omelette and sausage patty had the consistency and taste of dry cardboard. I did not think that was even possible! This was not consistent with what I expect of a Hampton for $200/night, so spend a few bucks more on real breakfast food please.

We were visiting family in the area and then heading to Disneyland. We really only needed our rooms for our two nighttime stays and the nice breakfast in the morning.

After extending my stay for several nights one night at a time and paying for each night with the front desk confirming, they told me I owed for the extra nights when extending for one more night. I explained that I already paid and showed them my credit card activity. They wouldnt budge and called me after I went to work and confirmed that they show I owed for the added nights. The front desk person kept saying she understood what I was saying about already paying and the points I was making and my frustration, but she didnt understand. I went to the property to gather my things and to cancel the final night. They then called me while I was at lunch and apologized and said I was correct and didnt owe for any nights as they saw their mistake etc. I asked to be compensated, perhaps to come back for a free night as i hadnt booked elsewhere and all they gave me was 2 nights of free parking. I have never been disrespected like this from a hotel. They were completely in the wrong and wouldnt budge even with clear evidence that I was in the right and was paid up on my stay. This left a bad taste in my mouth and I now have no desire to patronize this unscrupulous and unforgiving establishment. This is one of my favorite local hotels that has always been a reasonable priced and friendly place and now I have to cross them off my list. I am very disappointed and offended.

GREAT STAY, EVERYONE WAS GREAT

Ants in the main bedroom and even more in the bathroom. Moved to another room and the toilet wouldn’t flush.

It was ice

Super clean and modern. Nice service at front desk and throughout hotel. Nice amenities like microwave and fridge. That's very helpful and I will remember for next time.

Hotel was clean & comfortable, only drawback was the staff jumping the gun to clean our room this morning before we checked out

close to shopping and relatively clean but that's about it. An hour late on getting room ready (4:00 pm), long walk from parking to handicapped room, pulsing blue lite in the a/c we had to cover to sleep, they were out of eggs this morning for breakfast for over 15 minutes so we left before they got any up (8:30 am), out of pump Creamora, coffee was good but only luke warm and ice machine on 2nd floor and we were on the 1st floor.

Very clean. Great breakfast.

We arrived at the hotel in the evening. Quickly changed clothes and in 15-20 minutes we left the hotel for the event for which we came. Late in the night, after the event, when we returned to the hotel, we discovered that the water in the sink and toilet backing up. We immediately notified the receptionist and soon received the key to the new room. The guy at the front desk was very nice, polite and professional.
Breakfast was terrible (trust me this is a very polite description). Even hard-boiled eggs, a dish that seems impossible to mess up, tasted and felt like they were made of rubber. Breakfast menu offer two different type of juices. Both of them taste like water with plenty of chemical additives for taste and color and sugar to sweeten the poison.

I stayed at the Hilton for three days and was disappointed with the experience. Our towels were not changed, the room wasn’t vacuumed, and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned. It seemed like the place was being operated on a shoe-string budget. The breakfast buffet was okay, but the juices were diluted with water. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and service. I believe I could have found a better hotel for the same cost.

Parking fee is charged where is not mentioned

AMAZING comfortable beds! Room was very clean, front desk help was very accommodating, and the hot breakfast was great! Will stay here again in the future!

The closet sliding door was off its track, the shower door was out of adjustment and almost impossible to open, the window was jammed open and could not be closed. In addition freeway noise was very bad - partly because the window would not close all the way and partly because the location of the room. Not a good night to say the least.

Handicap room was not for handicap. Bathtub Sid’s is way to highr

My husband and I loved this hotel, one of our favorites we’ve stayed at so far. It felt like staying in our own private master bedroom. Our room was on the first floor. The room was very spacious and the ceilings were pretty high for what I’m used to in a hotel. The bed was super comfortable. We loved that it had a couch and a conveniently movable table for eating/working wherever you please within the room. The bathroom was clean, nice, and spacious as well. Their free breakfast in the morning was also pretty good with hot food and a handful of other options. Their seasonal flavor waffles for our stay was Lemon and it was so good. Another highlight is check out being at 12pm instead of 11AM like other places. We only stayed a night so I’m sure we didn’t get to enjoy the facility to its full potential but we will definitely be glad to return for a longer stay next time. With all that being said, there were only a few things I wasn’t the biggest fan of like obviously having to pay an additional fee for parking (although the hotel is located off in a corner of a busy plaza so maybe that’s why), the toilet wasn’t the most comfortable to sit on or get up off of, and one of the side entrances we used had a lot of mosquitos hanging around in the day but was taken care of at night by some kind of light. However in light of those things, it didn’t ruin our stay and we would still stay here again.

Walking distance to restaurants, Starbucks, Walmart grocery. Beautiful area and convenient to scenic drives, beaches…

Lots of kids running around; room smelled of disinfectant; bedding old; no daily maid service; no vending machines; $10 parking in the suburbs seems excessive; tired furniture; small TV; Slow internet
4.3
Safe and quiet

What a bust. Avoid this place. Absolutely not worth the money (unless of course you prefer to listen to your neighbors whisper to one another and have sharp staples protrude from the carpet and stab your feet). No exaggeration, honest truth.

Free breakfast was very good.

Kind of tucked away but a nice place

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was very clean and a good size. The complementary breakfast was very good.My only complaint was the shampoo bottle in the shower was completely empty and the automated blinds did not work.

My family and I stayed here for one night. Property clean and safe. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and not cramped. Shower flow was plentiful. Beds were a bit hard for us as we sleep better in softer beds. Freeway was nearby and constant white noise. Pool small but warm. Hot tub available.

We were in town for a concert at the Thousand Oaks Civic Center.

I stayed here before once by myself and this time I brought my husband. We went to visit my daughter who goes to nearby University. The hotel was nice and the room was nice. Unfortunately, when we were there, it was torrential downpour and they didn’t have any umbrellas for use in the lobby. Also, the only other negative thing would be there is no water to make coffee in the room, even though they provide coffee, creamer, and sweetener. Other than that, the hotel is very nice and comfortable. They provide breakfast, but we just didn’t get a chance to take part in it, however, we did take the travel to go breakfast, which was great for travel trip home.

When we arrived late evening to check-in we were told by the gentleman at the front desk that their wasn't a room for us because EXPEDIA had overbooked. We had booked this room 5 weeks prior to our check-in day! I had to spend 1.5 hrs on the phone with someone from EXPEDIA while they tried to find us another hotel. Fortunately PALM GARDEN took us in for the 3 nights otherwise we would have been on the street. We checked into PALM GARDEN at 1:30AM. We've booked many trips with EXPEDIA. We certainly didn't deserve this kind of treatment. My wife ended up getting really sick from all the stress related to this incident. I would like for someone from EXPEDIA to contact us concerning this troubling event. AWAITING YOUR RESPONSE. Thanks

The staff was great and helped get me checked it quickly. The security latch on the door was barely held on by three very loose screws. The fridge light was on but it was warmer than the room temperature. They had outlets to plug in phone on the nightstand but only on one side. While getting into bed I found a used blue ear foamy by the baseboard, didn’t touch it.

The hotel was good for our purposes. We were in town for a sports tournament, one night. It is in close proximity to a Walmart and food services, that was great. The room itself was a nice size but the air conditioner is as loud as a generator every time it turns on and both the bed and pull out sofa bed were not comfortable. Other than those things the stay was good
4.3
Very close to shopping and restaurants. Large, clean rooms. Friendly staff.
4.3
Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice size room. Adequate towels and toiletries.
Breakfast wasn’t the best. The sausages were very overcooked and oatmeal was super watery. Coffee weak. Also no pen and paper pad in the room.
4.3
Good place to stay
