Not the greatest night sleep. The noise above our room was bad not sure if there is another room or stairs but it was bad that it kept disturbing us and kept us awake. Pool we feel was not clean and sauna was not free.

The hotel is located in a lovely area , the property looks stylish on the outside and there is plenty of parking. On arrival I had a warm welcome by a lady called Megany (apologies for the spelling). She was very helpful and a joy to speak with.
The room was nice and spacious but I found the decor to be too dark for a room that doesn’t have enough lighting. The air con worked well , and the room had a safe and a mini bar/fridge. I slept very well and the mattress was very comfortable.
The bathroom was also nice, with a separate shower head and shower hose. Hair dryer included also. I would of preferred more towels as they weren’t replaced when the room was cleaned. I was left with just one.
The breakfast was ok, but I felt the selection was minimal and I didn’t know there was some hot choices until I took a closer look. (Perhaps a sign to show location of hot food?). It was nice to have freshly squeezed orange juice.
The location of the hotel to Ghent, was perfect , a tram ride to the center took 10mins. And if you like to walk it’s not bad 45min walk. I walked the way back.
Overall the friendly staff made my stay enjoyable, it was nice to see a mixture of people working at the hotel and guests. I would stay again.

Inexpensive family option . Easy to park and 30 minutes walk to the centre

This is a ‘get what you pay for’ hotel. Rooms are basic and clean, breakfast is good and it is very easy to get in and out by car or to the city center by tram (easier with Google maps for station stops)
I am in love with the front desk staff for so many reasons! Sweet and super helpful they had good ideas and advice on places we wanted to go, how to get there and always ready to hear about our adventures when we returned. It’s like coming home to family at the end of the day:)

Pool was lovely to relax in after a full day on our feet

Beautiful art deco hotel, very close to Ghent Sint-Pieters train station, only a two stop tram ride or 5 minute cycle. Staff was very welcoming and helpful to tell you any destinations in Ghent. Would stay again!

Very nice rooms in unique art deco house in quiet neighborhood with easy access to the trams. Really cool indoor swimming pool.

loved the breakfast. The hotel is historic art deco architecture and it's in a residential neighborhood with more interesting architecture. It's a nice neighborhood to walk around, but it's a pretty long walk to any restaurants and the city center. We did that walk - in pouring rain! - but we like to walk. Friendly staff and friendly fellow guests at the breakfast buffet.

Great hotel , in a nice peaceful area of Gent, lovely pool, excellent breakfast, bed very comfortable and service was impeccable. Thank you for recommending also a nice restaurant for the evening dinner. If I am in the area again I shall come back for sure.

Clean and accommodating to our late check in. Please note that the front desk closes at 10pm - so call ahead for late check in. Breakfast was amazing! ❤️

Hotel was clean, quiet and very hospitable. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially with a payment issue that we had. Breakfast was plentiful with good hot and cold options. Family room was very big and comfortable. Parking excellent just outside the entrance. Would recommend and stay again when next in Gent.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were very kind. You can book the pool for a private swim for an hour each day, which was great after exploring the city on foot. Beautiful house in a nice area, close to the train station.

Nice older property. We had a 4 person room and it was huge with a very large bathroom. We would definitely stay here again.

Great, friendly service at reception. Nice clean room. Very convenient arriving by car. Excellent tram links into town. Could have done with two large towels (rather than one) in the room.

My wife and myself were very impressed by the condition of the accommodation, and when we revealed a problem with the drainage in the shower, it was promptly corrected

Lovely quiet hotel, slightly off the beaten track with excellent accommodations, fantastic breakfast buffet, and extremely helpful staff.

Great spot in Ghent, just out of the city but close enough with the Tram, lots to see around Ghent and the staff were very helpful to give recommendations

First impression: When me and my family entered the hotel, the young woman in reception wasn’t friendly and welcoming at all. I don’t know if was it because we were a brown family or Muslim! Because they’re well-behaved and smiley to other people, their faces get changed whenever they see us.
Second thing: The room wasn’t smelling very good, it was smelling like piss, But clean. The room was big btw and the toilet was great too.
The best thing about the hotel is the Pool, a lovely indoor private pool.

What a wonderful place to stay. Fully enjoyed the lovely setting and super kind staff. Stayed with my family (four of us - two being little rascals). The room was really spacious, clean and had an easy access outside through the sliding doors. The garden in front of the hotel is very enjoyable and calming - kids loved it. The breakfast was very tasty and with good assortment to choose from. The hotel is one big old-style house converted to accommodation and this gives it such a nice character - really enjoyed it. Finally, the staff are super friendly and nice. Had a lovely chat every time. Especially with the manager's parrot :)

Great location very close to transport. We had three in our party and were pleasantly surprised at the size of the accomodation. Very good bathroom and shower facility. Comfortable beds but dreadful pillows

Nice stay. We were downstairs and we could hear upstairs walking clearly. Otherwise it was great

After realising we would potentially be late for check in and ringing the hotel staff were exceptionally helpful to make sure check in was smooth for us. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Stay not long enough to use all facilities such as pool but we will definitely be back. Great location for easy access to Ghent.

Nice older hotel, large bedroom with good sized en-suite. Comfortable bed. Self service breakfast, lots of choice, even gluten free cereal and muesli and also available until 11 am so no rush to get down stairs too early. Free parking on site, electric car charging available too. Easy tram ride into centre or 30 minutes walk past lots of churches and museums and through nice parks. Very nice Italian restaurant, Sole D’Italia, a few minutes walk away. Reception very helpful. Fridge in room always useful. Small pool in the basement, very warm!
Woken up at 6-6.30 by people leaving/breakfasting or talking at reception as our room was above breakfast room and reception. Otherwise a good stay.

Perfect hotel for a weekend trip to Belgium. Very easy to drive to with plenty of car-parking. Tram stop to old town is 200M away & journey takes 10 minutes. The hotel itself is very comfortable and the congratulations to ALL the staff who were always very helpful/friendly. It will definitely be my 'goto' hotel for future Gent weekends
