Decent, nothing spectacular but for a night to lay the head on the pillow was good enough. Great view of the sunrise in the morning.

We didn’t check in because the room was awful. Lights didn’t work in the room when we looked at the room . There were barking dogs in the next room. Outside security lights were not working .
3.8
Breakfast was good. The room was clean and had a refrigerator, microwave, & coffee maker. The toilet was kindergarten height and the sliding screen door stuck, the sliding glass door did not lock. The room and bathroom were clean and the pillows and bed comfortable + 2 comfortable chairs. We enjoyed our stay.

Best value ----Best accommodations, clean, neat, best accessibility...well run---will definitely stay there again

Great check in service, the lady behind the desk was very personable and each room had a view of lake Michigan. However, the heater in the room emitted a very bad, sour smell.
For breakfast, the pancake machine did not cook the pancakes correctly. About 2 inches of the outside edge was raw, only the center was cooked. When we mentioned it to the clerk, she blamed it on the temperature of the water used to make the batter. So, even though they had free parking and shuttle pick up for the ferry to Msckinaw Island, we would not stay here again.

I was far from impressed with the difference between what was advertised and what the actual property and rooms looked like. Also breakfast was very lack luster. I ended up eating at a truck stop. I was not impressed with the hotel at all.
3.8
Loved the lake view from every room! Fantastic sunrise pics! Giood service and a nice breakfast. Good blackout curtains for sleeping
3.8
Could offer a meat choice for the breakfast

I understand hotels need to be pet friendly but they should at least keep some rooms pet free. We walked into our room and were hit in the face with the horrible smell of dirt/wet dog. The room wasn't as clean at I like but ok regardless. I would not stay there again.

Unfortunately the photos looked better than the product. We checked in and went to our room, there were lights hanging out of their socket, sliding door that didn’t lock properly, every person walking past looking in, bed was very uncomfortable and sunk in the middle. We felt incredibly unsafe and decided to leave.

I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy. Filthy, dingy, dirty, old. I wouldn’t take my shoes off bc of how nasty it was. The bed was
Loud and thin! So uncomfortable. Slider wouldn’t stay shut unless barricaded. Bugs and spider webs in all corners . It was so bad we checked out after 1 night, and if we could we would have not stayed a single night .
3.8
Nice setting on the lake. Ok for a low budget one night stay. Outdated rooms that need upgrading. Shower was broken and some lights didn't work. Clientele was not the most impressive. Druggie next to us on the balcony who was puffing on a blunt the size of a cigar and using speaker phone on high volume. Spend the extra $30 a night and avoid the low IQ folks.

Curtains wouldn’t move.. door lock was broken. Toilet seat kept coming off Rest was ok, not fabulous. They did have fruit and yogurt for breakfast

Room was a beautiful lake view with balcony ..i would love to stay there again .

Based on the reviews, i was expecting a worn out budget hotel with a great view and thats what I got. Property is reeeeeealy due for an update!!!! That said the room was quite clean and everything worked. Cudos to the staff on that. Biggest problem was one of the beds (frame) nearly collapsed when I sat on it the fist time, bumped my head on the wall. Pointed out to staff on checkout comments, so hopefully theyll fix it. If not be careful if they give you room 18.

Mattresses were little more than covered wood. So old.

The location is good-pretty close to the ferry. The ferry has a free shuttle to/from the hotel. The view of the lake from the back of the hotel was quite nice. The room was OK. The hotel is dated. There are no elevators and we were on the 3rd floor. The breakfast was limited-no decaf hot drinks (no hot chocolate, herbal tea or decaf coffee). Pancake machine undercooked the pancakes. Limited bakery options -just bread and bagels. Hard boiled eggs but no egg dish, no hash browns, no butter. Only instant oatmeal. Breakfast was 7 to 9 and they closed on the dot!

The rooms were not very clean for me or anyone in my party. There was a sticky substance on the bedside drawer. The toilet was dirty (there was hair in between the seat and the back of the toilet) as was the fridge. All this was right when we got the room.
My friends sink overflowed and she called and asked 2 times and no one came to fix. When we approached the front desk the people at the counter immediately said “well I didn’t take that call” or “wasn’t me”. Super unprofessional and took sometime for them to reassure they would fix it. The bed was also lopsided in that room as well. She paid for a two bed room and they had to share a bed because the one was broken.
The area around and near the lake front did not look like the pictures and was very rocky. No real beachy area. Also not very accessible unless they can get you a first floor room which they were not able to accommodate initially for an elderly woman. Someone with our group had to switch rooms with her. Then later on they gave our friend with the sink a new room on the ground floor. I understand it can be sold out but honestly it did not appear to be. I’ve worked in hotels before and this one needs some work.

Overall the stay was great except the hot tub didnt work and there was a dead frog in the pool. The view was breathtaking
3.8
Not clean.

Is a nice place with a nice location however they are not to worry about cleaning the bathroom was dirty upon our arrival you can tell they dont put alot pf effort in cleaning the room or any outdoor area. They need to put more mantainces in the hotel. I been staying there since 2011 every year it use to be very good and clean and the pool area was great but now is just getting worse as the time goes by.

This was about a 59.00 dollar a night motel but because of the location was over 300 dollars a night. I don't think one penny of money has ever been put into updating the property since the 70's. From the Avocado green tub with tiles sticking out and the 27 inch or so tv, this place was a disappointment. Torn screens and broken locks on sliding glass doors. Balcony never cleaned. Trash under the bed. Lumpy mattress. Pieces of ceiling coming down. The staff was very friendly and helpful but do not expect a nice motel for what you are going to pay.
3.8
Room had a great view of the lake, but was in need of maintenance. Cleanliness was a bit lacking.
3.8
The staff from the lobby staff to the house keepers/laundry were very polite.
3.8
Love the location - Beach front one bed was terrible broken down deep pocket sag the other was okay.
3.8
Room itself was clean but average. The TV was small and so low you couldn't watch it from the bed. Screens were falling out of some of the windows and off the A/C units on the balcony. The swimming pool was really rundown and in desperate need of repair. It's an old motel with a fresh coat of paint with clean rooms that needs a lot of repairs.
3.8
It wasn't fancy but it was clean. We loved being right on the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast could use a few more low carb options.
3.8
The check-in was bad. We had received an email to pre check. We followed the directions and asked for an upgrade. Photoed my ID, vehicle info, etc. The staff check-in claimed they never sent an email and needed all the information. Said the upgrade was costing a lot more than the email offered. The toilet leaked in the room. Next day, I told the desk person. She said corporate was sending emails but they didn’t know how to do it, yet. Info was going to customers but staff didn’t know what to do. The room smelled bad.
3.8
Clean but could be a lot cleaner. Ok for one night stay.
3.8
Rooms were clean and quiet.
3.8
Smells like 50 years of cigarette smoke.
3.8
The view of Lake Huron and Mackinaw Island are beautiful and peaceful.
3.8
The owner was fantastic and super nice
3.8
Very dirty room. We had to purchase cleaning supplies and clean the filthy bathroom. It was non smoking room that smelled terrible of Marijuana. They obviously do not prioritize clean grounds or rooms. Very out dated. We will not return.
3.8
Nice beach great view great place to stay for mackinaw island all rooms have view including partial view.
3.8
Our room are up on the 3 rd floor made it difficult carrying stuffs up , carpet, balcony walkway, and windows were so filthy! This is definitely wrong rating for something that we thought would be decent for not spending too much time . The stairway was also dark with no light at night time.
3.8
Perfect view nice room. Breakfast is okay. Weird pancake machine and no creamer.
3.8
The property is rundown. The rooms were outdated and clean but when we turned on the ac flies came pouring out of it. We had a balcony and the view was great, but the doors were dirty and looked like they were not cleaned. The curtains to the balcony had wholes in them. We didn't even open the sliding glass door because there were several bugs stuck to the window. The whole building is just run down and needs updating. I was shocked that this was a Wyndham. The main plus to this place is the location. It's right on the water.. it also has a pool. It has the potential to be really great.

Nice
I would stay again

This property was gross. The bedding was dirty and stained and there were bugs flying around in the room.
