We've stayed before, several times, but not for a long time. The place is looking very tired

Excellent hotel and friendly and helpful staff and very modern. Unfortunately there was a wedding and completely took over the bar for over an hour from 4 until 5 and were very noisey at 3 am. The hotel is in a wonderful location and the rooms at pretty soundproof, given it is on the Heathrow landing flight path.

Design and furnishings a bit of a car crash. £25 each to use swimming pool/sauna/steam. Had to book a 2 hour slot. Wedding party very noisy in the hot tub. Pool ceiling showing rusty marks. Not a great experience. £17 for a glass of wine. Suggestions of a tip being paid when ordering at the bar. Invoicing was incorrect on checkout. Generally felt like Hilton had got you there and was determined to fleece you every way you turned.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Syon Park, a Hilton Hotel in Brentford, and unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by a serious issue that I feel compelled to share.
The hotel itself was up to the usual Hilton standards—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. However, the parking situation left much to be desired. We followed the hotel's recommendation and parked in the nearby car park, which is not owned by Hilton. To our dismay, our car was broken into overnight.
After doing some informal investigation in the area, we discovered a disturbing amount of shattered glass littering the car park, suggesting that this is not an isolated incident but rather part of a troubling pattern of vehicle break-ins. Thankfully, there were no valuables in our car, and nothing was taken, but we learned from hotel staff that there seems to be a gang operating in the vicinity.
Despite having signs urging guests to keep valuables out of sight, there was no prior warning about the risks of parking in that area or any advice on safer alternatives. The hotel management's response to our situation was disappointing; they appeared indifferent and offered minimal support.
For anyone considering a stay here, I strongly recommend thinking carefully about where to park. While the hotel offers a pleasant stay, the security concerns combined with the management's lack of engagement in addressing them have left me quite.

Very pleased with the room which was surrounded by private gardens on both sides. The service of the Reception staff was exceptional.I liked the spacious nature of this hotel and it's location. The restaurant choices were fairly good and the food quality too.Perhaps some travel toiletries like shower cap & cotton buds and a robe would have been nice in the room. Just one two things missing to make it excellent for the money!

My stay at this property was a wondwrful experience, the staff were wonderful in all areas, the dinning was lovely, with a good choice, which was of excellent qaulity and taste. The grounds surrounding the property were beautiful and calming, lovely to just sut or walk around. Thankyou to all.

For a big tag price, quite an under-whelmimg stay. Had to wait a while before greeted at the desk, then was given no information on where facilities were and their opening and closing times, just a piece of paper with some details on. Handed the key and receptionist then carried on with something else, I had to ask which direction to go for my room. No towel given to me so the spa which was very odd. Staff overall just did not seem particularly attentive. I booked it for something special for my birthday, but it did not feel special in the end.

We stayed here for 2 nights for the Taylor Swift concert and stayed in a family room. The hotel is on a flight path but you can’t hear the planes when you are inside the hotel. There are two lovely parks, a river, canal and tube within walking distance and there is plenty of parking. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean. We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food. My only negative was the cleaning staff waiting outside the room for us to leave - even though it wasn’t time to check out. This made us rush to leave when we didn’t want to. We would definitely come back here as the hotel, staff and location is great.

The staff were amazing and made my partners birthday a special once.

Hotel was expensive for what it offered. And, FYI, they charge extra to go to the pool and do not allow kids to go into the pool at all. One night the air conditioning did not work in the room. But the staff quickly moved us to another room and provided a courtesy discount on the stay. Overall, the stay was fine. Nothing special.

Excellent hotel and would recommend and to stay again.
Only downside if you are just staying for 1 night the use of the pool and spa services for 2 hours cost £25 per person which I think is a bit pricey

Love this hotel & location & the parking for London is fantastic. Both restaurants are very good & breakfast is always a feast. Glad to see the addition of “ tattle scones” too 😉….sometimes the rooms can look a little tired in places but spotlessly clean & the staff are very helpful & professional.

No power connection to one side of the bed - and precious alternatives. Advertised and then booked as a Hotel and Spa - only now you have to pay £££ to access the pool - £25 for 2 hours. Very disappointing.
Very well dealt with by the manager

Sad the jacuzzi wasn’t working.

Hotel facilities very good and stay comfortable.
Cost of bar drinks somewhat excessive given that there is a standard service charge added on top of the displayed costs. Restaurant meals also have non discretionary service charges applied which is okay for table service meals but not appropriate for buffet meals.

Thought I would splurge a bit to get a good nights rest before a flight.
Loved the free parking, however no signage for lobby so a bit confusing.
Went up to room and sat on bed and immediately noticed how stiff and uncomfortable it was, called and asked if there was any others and they said all mattresses were the same. I’ve slept on comfier beds and have had better feeling bedding at economical hotels.
Also it says the rooms are sound proof. Mine was not, I could hear everything in the hall and a bit of music through the night. So much so it woke me before my alarm in the morning.
Also I believe housekeeping was trying to ring my bell before checkout time while I was in the bathroom.
I didn’t want to use the pool but that is also an extra charge I was unaware of.
I’ve left much more tired than before I arrived and will not be staying again and would advise people looking for a comfy relaxing stay to stay elsewhere.

Dated - a far cry from the days of when this was a Waldorf brand hotel.. ordinary food, dated and worn out.. unreal that there is a charge to use the pool. Staff were nice.

Comfortable bed and good service. However the hotel in general is tired and not spotlessly clean. The decor is odd and dated. Bar prices are astronomical. Strong smell of cannabis from a neighbouring room. Feels like a venue for assignations.

Great stay. Spa was a little busy but facilities were very clean.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Especially the Night Manager, who went "above snd beyond" to help me with a problem with extensive bird mess on our car (not picked up at the hotel). So at 11 pm he willingly brought cleaning materials and helped get rid of the worst, before paintwork was damaged. Exceptional level of service. Reception clerks very friendly and helpful.

It was lovely

On arrival the staff were very welcoming and friendly the check in was easy and without fuss. The room was lovely and spacious and beds really comfortable. I asked for different pillow due to being allergic to the feathered ones and they were brought to our room instantly. We only had breakfast at the hotel which was lovely and plenty of choice again the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful.
The let downs for us were there were a few minor dusty areas in the bedroom, the sink and surrounding tiles weren’t wiped down and the car park had a lot of litter, empty gas canisters and empty medicine bottles. These were picked up but were there for two days and when you have impressionable children with you asking why they where there it’s not a good look when your paying over £800 for three nights. Also there were groups of teens in cars playing music in the car park and again not what I would expect for the price we paid.
Also a big let down for us is the use of the swimming pool. This is one of the reasons why we booked this hotel but it wasn’t made clear until after we the free cancellation date that the children or under 18’s were unable to use the pool. It previously stated that no under 18’s were allowed in the spa but it wasn’t clear that the pool was part of the spa.
Over all we would stay again but maybe not with the children

What a fantastic experience! We stayed there overnight for a wedding. Staff was brilliant, they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was problem free. The process was incredibly smooth before during and after check-in. We would definitely go back as a family for our weekend trips away. Thank you to all staff at reception of Hilton Syon Park! You are stars!!
