We stayed two days prior to catamaran cruise. Close to the airport and the marina. Very friendly and helpful staff. On site restaurant was excellent.

We had the pleasure of staying at Raiatea Lodge Hotel during the second leg of our honeymoon, and it was everything we could have hoped for—a peaceful retreat after spending time on larger, more touristic islands. The hotel is set on picturesque plantation-like grounds that instantly evoke relaxation. The lush greenery and tranquil surroundings made it feel like a hidden gem in the heart of French Polynesia.
The fusion of Polynesian and French influences in both the cuisine and entertainment was a standout. Every meal was an experience, combining local flavors with French culinary elegance, and the live entertainment added to the authentic yet sophisticated atmosphere.
One of the most unforgettable parts of our stay was the incredible sunsets. They set perfectly to the west of the hotel, painting the sky in hues of gold, pink, and violet—some of the best sunsets we’ve ever seen! Watching them from the lodge was pure magic.
If you’re looking for a quieter side of the Tahitian islands, Raiatea Lodge is the perfect choice. It’s far less touristic than some of the bigger islands, yet offers all the amenities of a top resort. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome without making us feel isolated from the island experience. It’s a place where you can unwind and truly enjoy the natural beauty of Raiatea.
Highly recommended for those who seek tranquility, comfort, and a taste of island life with a refined touch.

The staff at the lodge was very pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend the half-board which includes breakfast and dinner but no alcohol. Was surprised by a local group of preformers on the first night of our stay (W night). The 4-1/2 yr. old is an up and coming star! Would highly recommend. Lodge will be going through a renovation for 6 months over year end.

Beautiful property with excellent staff and service. Restaurant on site was also very good.

Front desk members were phenomenal!
Restaurant service was a little slow and members didn’t speak much English.
Activities were limited. Not much around the property.

My whole stay was a pleasure and good, relaxing and not forgettable moments.

Incredible snorkeling just off the property. Great food. Attentive staff. I will go back.

Great place for relaxing. Restaurant food is very good— surprising for a small resort. Enjoyed access to bikes and kayaks. Pool furniture very comfortable and pool refreshing.

We had a great time at the Raiatea Lodge. Everything is tastefully decorated. The bungalows are brand new and very comfortable. The pinacolada is delicious. The food is also really good. More importantly the staff is the most friendly and helpful.
The only minor complaint is the low internet bandwidth. But I don’t know if it’s an issue with the island overall.

The Raiatea Lodge is quite nice and in a good location. It is spittlessly clean and the restaurant is excellent. The staff is very kind, but they do promote some completely turistic excursion and were not very helpful about all that is available in Raiatea, such as availabilti of water taxis to the nearby islets or transportation to Taha outside of a turist tour. The location is great, near the airport and town, but a car is essential. There are kayaks available, but the current makes it tricky. Also there are bikes available, but biking in the narrow road is not very safe, although the locals do. There is a pontoon that is in disrepair and not usable, it would be nice to snorkel from as Raiatea has no beaches. The pool is very nice but small and usualky crowded. All and all a nice stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is beautiful, comfortable and has great food. In addition, the staff is so nice and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay as nice as possible. I highly recommend the Raiatea Lodge Hotel.

Pros: staff is fantastic! Chef and food is excellent! What's also super awesome???...the kayaks to get to the nearby motu for exploring. Also cool, the place is right across the road from a beach great sunset views. We had bungalow M1 which had a great covered outdoor area to sip drinks and watch sunset. Plus, the bungalow was super new.
Cons: we didn't tell them so they didn't fix, but the bathroom had a small ant issue.
If you ask them to book a Tahaa day tour, either buy your own snorkels or get them from desk (they didn't recommend us to do this). The ones the company they use that provided us had lots of black mold growing in each snorkel...apparently were the only ones who didn't bring our own (never a problem in Bali or Hawaiian outfits we used) and no fins provided so progress was SLOW.
Would stay at Raiatea Lodge again in heartbeat.

We have stayed at Raiatea Lodge previously and really enjoyed it. This time we were disappointed to see that we could not use the dock to launch kayaks and go snorkeling which we were really looking forward to. They also have a new chef and we’re handling COVID issues as much as possible.

Very laid back place. The cottages had a nice covered porch. Bathroom facilities were excellent. We had the half board plan and food was superb. Friendly staff. Pool with covered jacuzzi was nice. No beach but right adjacent to ocean. Road runs between property and the ocean. Would stay again

This hotel by far exceeded our expectations. The food was some of the best food Ive ever had, lots of unique items on the menu. Staff is super friendly, rooms were clean and modern. 5 star experience.

This was a fantastic hotel managed by the owner. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of smiles. The hotel had a lot of character. Plenty of things to do. They had bicycles, kayaks and you could snorkel right in front of the hotel. Food quality was EXCELLENT! Best we had so far on this trip.

Our stay at the Raiatea Lodge Hotel could not have been better. The staff and management were very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfasts were great and the dinners were some of the best we had in French Polynesia. They offer free bicycles and kayaks to use. If you want to snorkel, kayak to the Motu. The left side is pretty shallow but some of the best snorkeling can be done on the right side. Overall, this was a very relaxing stay and are glad we decided to go to Raiatea and stay at this hotel.

Amazing sunsets every day at their own “dock”. Breakfast was personal and rich. Possibility to rent car AT the hotel for one day, even thought there is not much to see in Raiatea to be honest. NO BEACHES on the island. No joke. Take the Taha island tour if you can.
Room was a bit outdated. Our shower made the whole bathroom floor wet (no drapes). Personnel was very friendly and helpful.
One incident. We found a semi-dead cockroach laying on our floor once checked in. Probably dosed off from poison. Made us a bit uncomfortable and worrying about more. But never saw any bugs or anything like that in our room or hotel after that

The Raiatea Lodge could not have been better. 5 star service, food, everything. Amazing place. When we booked it I thought the price was a little bit high, but after being there it was so worth it! From the greeting upon arrival, to the service while there, and the amenities this place rocks! The front desk staff spoke English, which was very helpful as we do not speak French. Highly, highly recommend it!!
