I recommend this place if you want a budget hotel near the Imperial Palace for running.

Excellent hotel. It’s 5 minutes walk from Hanzomon station from which you can get to the main areas easily. Breakfast was delicious everyday.
The room is small, but is as advertised so I knew to expect that.

The floor I was on smelled like cigarette smoke

It wasn’t clear where the front door was. I was standing in the side of the building trying to figure out how to get in.

Good location and clean room. Breakfast is good.

I liked that it was a clean, convenient hotel room.
It is only 3 star because there is not pool, spa, or gym facility.
But I am not looking for that.
The staff was courteous and tried their best to understand English.
The only downside would be for big & tall.
I am short and not so big so the room did not feel cramped.
Room had no view except of the outside of the building next to it.
The bathroom door swings out so that your knees do not get hurt while you are on the commode.
Very good value for a hotel near the Imperial Palace grounds.

It is a good location for early morning run around the imperial palace.

The hotel was accommodating and fairly comfortable, the food in the restaurant was delicious and as a smoker I appreciated the smoking room, everything was very clean and cleaned well every day of my stay, my only issue was the Wifi was very poor and I had to use mobile data as it barely worked.

Very convenient location, just less than 200 meters away from Hanzomon metro station exit no. 4.
All staff members are extremely polite and eager to help.
I will definitely stay here again when I revisit Tokyo.
A few customers complained about slow and/or bad Wifi connections from their rooms, and in fact it was true. However, a counter staff kindly lent me a portable wifi apparatus (photo included) . With it, I had no problem with wifi. Thank you so much!

Great location. Room was a good size for even two people. They don't accommodate early check-in, but they can hold your luggage while you go exploring. Everything was clean. Good breakfast. Really helpful staff.
The bathroom is a bit of a squeeze, so not ideal for large visitors (at least for a Single-type room). Also, the pillows are unusual--something to be mindful of. Also, information for the train exit (especially for the elevator option) would have been really helpful.

This hotel is very close to 'Hanzomon' station and it is near to the central of Tokyo so you can visit the near sighseeing and anyware in Tokyo with the subway. Around this hotel, you can find a convenience store and local restaurants. Staffs are very friendly. English communication is okay.
Actually this hotel is remodelled one so you can see some old things like faucet in the toilet, furniture, air-conditioner, small bathtub, and so on. They are still working, cleaned, and usable, but you cannot avoid the feeling of using 'old stuffs'.
Wi-Fi is really horrible. In the room, the information mentions that the Wi-Fi may not compatible with your device, but it is worse than this mention. I had never seen that the Wi-Fi connection cannot sustain more than 5 minutes and cannot be connnected for a while, any device(PC, mobile...) has same problem until I stayed in this hotel. At least LAN connection is very stable, so this hotel better to check the Wi-Fi infra quickly.
Except ammenities and room cleaning, there are only few facilities. Vending machines, hometheather ticket machine, two restaurants, Fax© machine area, end.
In sum: this hotel has not-bad location, price competition, staff service, and basic things in hotel. But some old infrastructure and inconvenient things ruins the experience of this hotel. The manager or owner should invest to facilities and intrastructures in this hotel.

One block from metro station but no connecting subway lines so a very quiet area. Staff was kind and helpful. Room was small but typical of Tokyo

Even though they were out of non-smoking rooms, they made their best efforts to accommodate. The staff was SUPER friendly, and I'm just sorry I didn't have time to try the Chinese restaurant.

Location is excellent. Walking distance to Imperial Palace and to 3 Metro stations. You can walk to Ginza, Tsukiji and Ueno if you fit or take Hanzomon metro station located 100m from hotel. The room is small but has a refrigerator.

Room was a bit dated, as expected of an older hotel, but it’s conveniently located close to the train station, in a quieter area. Staff was excellent.

Hate smoking rooms, wasn’t even asked if it was ok

We had a tea and cake set one afternoon for 1,500 yen. A little high but the kicker was, they want 500 yen more for a second cup of tea. Coffee would have included additional cups at no charge!
