Very old rooms but clean.

We waited 1 1/2 hours for the person working the front desk to show up for work and check us in. When she was called she said she would be there in 20 minutes and that turned into 40 minutes with every excuse.

I liked the price as it was cheaper than the hotel that we usually stay at. What I did not like was all of the hidden fees that you are hit with if you take a boat. Then to top it off you have to pay another amount to be able to park your boat. This should be listed on the site as well.

Love the location and staff

The linens were stained and old. Cobwebs on the ceiling and ants crawling in the bathroom and window sill.Needs a lot of updating.

For the price, this hotel was ok. It felt like a fisherman’s hotel but we only needed a place to stay for one night. Very satisfactory.

The location & the view is excellent !!!

The property views and location are fabulous. The price is right for the conditions you get. If you like the finer things this isn't for you but if you don't mind outdated, it's cool. The bed was very good which was great.

Look it’s an old building, but great location on the river and a great manatee swimming experience in the same building!

The location of this property can't be beat. It was very clean and the staff was great. The on-site restaurant, Waterside Social, was amazing. Our only complaint is lack of maintenance. We were in the second floor and our balcony was a tetanus event waiting to happen. There were rusty nails coming out from the side walls from a by gone screen enclosure. The cable wires were strung willy nilly. These things would cost ZERO dollars to address. It's merely a lack of attention to detail.

beautiful location, friendly people

Beautiful property with a beautiful view!!

It was nice amd quiet

The place is terribly run down. I heard the person behind the counter say that they are tearing it down next year. Not soon enough! Probably one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in and I've traveled around the world.
2.5
Nice location on sea front

I wood stay again

It's a lovely location to see the sunset. In the afternoons they have live music

Property was very run down and needed a lot of maintenance. Location was great which was their saving grace. Staff was also very helpful.

On the water, nice view, tiki bar and restaurant (very busy), ability to rent a boat, kayak, jet ski.
Very little parking, Balcony door wouldn’t open, once management got it open, it would lock again. Room was old and dirty, spider webs, hair, dust. Tv is challenging along with a remote that has batteries held in with tape. Bathroom door wouldn’t latch. Fridge wouldn’t keep anything cold and microwave worked but the display was broken so you couldn’t see what it was doing. Bed was not comfortable, pillows are not comfortable. Shower had more water pouring down the wall than out of the shower head. Water was nice and hot though.

Nice quiet property. Friendly staff. Old building. Sad that it is going to be taking down for large hotel chain. It will be missed by all locals. It was the start of Crystal River tourism.

Nice clean affordable place. Fantastic location and view. Some renovations and upgrades were underway but area was quiet and clean

Rooms were large and very clean. It’s an older motel and decor was also a bit outdated but if your don’t care about “fancy” it’s a great place with awesome views. Staff was very friendly

This is a quirky throwback to the early 50’s hotels but with upgrades - Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, bath area - and a 2 minute walk to the Tiki bar and restaurant. Right next to the Manatee tours. Nothing fancy just a neighborhood place.

This property was in the perfect location. I absolutely loved it.

They need to resolve their internet issues and have a backup plan in place.

We stayed one night. While the hotel is “old florida” it was very clean, bed was comfy and employees super nice. The location was perfect. Beautiful sunset right on the water.
The restaurant next door had great food.
I’d stay there again, no problem.

Older property with a clean room and magnificent view. Spent many hours on the balcony overlooking the gorgeous water!

My daughter and I stayed one night as we were traveling through. Although the hotel is older and could use a little more fixing up, the bedroom and bathroom were clean, and the beds were very comfortable! Having a balcony gave us our own private window into the springs and we enjoyed watching the birds and the boats coming and going. There were a few manatee passing by in the morning to make our stay even better. There is a restaurant and Tiki bar right on the water and plenty of ecotours to book right on the property. If you enjoy nature this is a great place to stay. It’s not a flawless property but we will definitely return.

The location and staff were excellent. The hotel is charming old Florida. Will Definity be planning another trip to stay at this hotel again. The website says breakfast included, in all honesty its not breakfast for us (pastry and coffee) The location is perfect and close to so many attractions and restaurants. The hotel is Definity old and a bit run down. But for a casual beach weekend it works. Even though it is old and outdated, we will be staying there again instead of the newer fancier big hotel chains.

Nice view and location but really not value for money breakfast was a waste of time very poor

The beautiful view makes the stay much better. The hotel needs some updates but the staff and the view were amazing.

Nice view from our room. Clean and comfortable. The outdoor restaurant does not allow pets.

The view from the room was fantastic. The room was very large. The on site restaurant was super. Best cob salad and burger was fantastic. Wife allergic to seafood, otherwise I would have gone for an item from the water. Memorable stay.

Clean and great view. Not fancy, but acceptable for price range. Staff extremely nice. A/C in room needs to have thermostat checked, constantly came on and so room was pretty cold most of the time. Needs better fitting sheets.

Great view, you have to understand it is an older hotel. I’ve been told Elvis stayed there. The bed was a little uncomfortable
