The surroundings are beautiful! The problem was mostly through hotels.com not at the resort. The only issue was a very loud a/c fan. We had to get a box fan and open the door. Glad it wasn’t snowing

0 stars because I booked through Expedia. CLEARLY states on my reservation I had until August to cancel for free. I canceled in May. Turns out, they never canceled it with the hotel, cited hotel policies and I’m out $600 solely because I used Expedia. You read that right. SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS. You will get partially refunded, even if they claim it’s free. BE WARNED AND BOOK DIRECT THROUGH THE HOTEL! Total scam.

We came for the music festival. the valet when we arrived was super helpful. We were on the 6th floor, so you have to go up a few stairs, but he helped us get all of our luggage, chairs (for the festival), etc. up the stairs and into our room. Wonderful place. Loved the fact that the hotel property is right on the ski run. Tons of dogs, which we love. Loved the place and how friendly, helpful and attentive all of the employees were. We'll be back.

We had some issues at check-in and were double charged. I am waiting for some of it to fall off our credit card like I was promised. Lobby and bar area is great. Outdoor amenities such as the pool are dated, but overall we had a nice time as a family.

Great place to stay in the summer if you are in the area for hiking/ backpacking. So many close amazing trails!

No A/C. No one would answer the front desk phone. Had to keep walking back and forth from room to lobby. Never resolved issue. Had to use a box fan.

The service was terrible and also the food in the restaurant was very average

the a/c didn't work for the entire stay, yet the front desk kept telling me that it would be fixed any minute

The hotel layout was confusing. You need bread crumbs to find your way around but overall it was nice and shops were convenient.

If I could give no stars I would. Room service and front desk are literally unavailable at any time. I called repeatedly over 3 hours and no one ever answered. I left no less than 5 VMs, which were never returned. The only way to gt food ddelivered to my room was to physically waalk down to the restaurant, place an order and then aask for it to be delivered to my room. And then, they got the room number wrong. When I went down to the front desk to speak to a manager, I was told there was nothing she could do about her staff not answering the phone, She said they were very busy. Meanwhile, there were two people waiting to get checked in that were furious. They said they had been waiting 45 minutes. As someone who has a heart condition/arrhythmia, not being able to reach the front desk in an emergency or to ask for help (especially at altitude) is incredibly unsafe, not to mention a huge liability for Marriott. Imagine if I (or someone else) needed help and couldn't get a hold of anyone to call for an ambulance. Luckily, this didn't happen. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. In fact, I called Marriott Bonvoy and opened a case. Hoping they do something about the hotel staff and manager.

Too pricey.

Always my favorite place to stay off season when I work in Aspen.

Perfect location, beautiful and near everything. The included shuttle from the airport was easy to access and alleviated a need for a vehicle.

Conveniente located. Friendly staff although rooms are not cleaned regularly.

3 different elevators to get To my room. It was very confusing and the staff gave me a map. Why wasn't there someone from the staff available to escort me to my room knowing that there was NO EASY way to find my room?Other than that, the property is beautiful and clean.Staff very friendly..

The food was probably the worst I've ever had in all my hotel stays .

I would sell this building to the city and use it for affordable housing. This would be a great placto house staff.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room on the third floor was clean and had a nice view. The transportation options were a plus and came in very handy for the Jazz Fest. We will definately return.

Il oved the design of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Service in the bar/restaurant was slow but decent. The servers took my meal before I had finished which was disappointing and it took forever to get my bags, I had to ask 3 times.
The shuttle to the music event was great!

The lack of control of the air in the room is a massive issue. Had to ask repeatedly for the air to be shut off. The room was either an ice box or incredibly hot with no in between.

AC did not work. Staff was responsive but couldn’t get it fixed. Nothing significant was offered for the inconvenience.

Many issues with this stay. Highlights include: hotels.com advertised a room with a view, when in fact that room type did not have a view option at all. No hand soap in entire hotel evidently, front desk suggested I get on a shuttle and buy some myself. Housekeeping replenished coffee supplies 1 time during 6 day stay. Didn't show up when requested. When towel replenish was requested they didn't show up so we had to use dirty towels that were on the floor. when they did show up, they found the tip but left without finishing the job. Loud leak noise from up above-not sure where. Outlets didn't work. Very convenient location, beautiful setting.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the stunning hotel Viewpoint and would like to share my wonderful experience with you.
From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by the friendly and helpful staff who made me feel immediately welcome. The lobby was beautifully decorated and had a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the rest of my stay.
The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished with modern amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I slept soundly every night of my stay. The bathroom was immaculate and had all the necessary toiletries and towels.
The hotel's amenities were excellent, including a fitness center, spa, and pool. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet that was included in my stay. The variety of food options was impressive, and everything was fresh and tasty.
What really set this hotel apart, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable and comfortable. They were knowledgeable about the local area and offered excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The combination of beautiful decor, modern amenities, and exceptional service makes it a top choice for anyone visiting the area. Thank you to the staff for making my stay so memorable!

This is a great property, but just about every room doesn’t have proper working heaters. When you ring front desk, they send an engineer who says “I’ll have parts tomorrow, here is a space heater for the night”. Needless to say a space heater doesn’t work at 15f, nor is it safe. The next day, they come back “it’s a mess, it’ll be a few days, but the space heater will do”. Hang out at the front desk and you’ll hear the complaints and same “excuses/fake fixes”, time and time again.
Please, fix this issue! People are paying $800 per night to wear their ski jackets to bed because it’s so darn cold!

I should not pay $1,000 a night for a room in Aspen and be woken up my first morning by a barking dog in the next room.

We paid $1,200 for a night, ended up arriving to the hotel at 4:30am due to flights delayed, we ask for late check-out and was told that no availability. We ended up sleeping 3hours only because when we arrived our room had an envelope with another person’s name and the bathtub was clogged. They ended up changing us from room. We got the village view, not the mountain. Lots of light enters the room. Carpet floor and pillow shams were dirty. At around 9:30am drilling sounds of construction woke us up. Got a video of it, which I cannot upload. They don’t have valet, a $1,200 per night resort! From lobby to parking is a 10mins walk, walking on ice. Our experience was horrible.
It’s a 2-3 star hotel. They charge too much for the room. We have previously stayed in 5 star hotels and it never compares to this.

Loved our stay here! The location was next to the ski lifts and equipment rentals-making it fast and easy to get on the slopes. The restaurants and deck lounge have a wide selection and there was live music. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the spa was relaxing rejuvenating.

Viewline is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The view is amazing and the staff is very courteous and very helpful.

Our A/C didn’t work and it was very warm in our room. They brought us a fan.
