Room was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Good value.

Thanksging trip to Bakersfield CA. Normally make the trip in 2 1/2 days, but added this stop to allow weather to clear along the route.
Checkin staff friendly, efficient.
Loved being able to catch dinner at Dickey’s BBQ, a 60 second walk across the parking lot.

The high rating is not accurate. I reserved a king size bed, given a room with two queens when I spoke up they said that was the room they had available. They didn’t even make the second bed, the linens were just sat on the bed

The person at the front desk was extremely helpful!

It was cheap and had a decent bed with range of fast food nearby. Good for one night on long trip.

Traveling across country and met our needs. Bed was comfortable, clean bathroom and had a dog area for out dogs to run around.

Just passing through. Nothing fancy older hotel but clean quiet and safe

Whilst this is a budget hotel there are standards we expect that weren’t met here.
Hole in the front door which we blocked with a towel.
Carpet was filthy & we kept our shoes on all of the time.
Suitcases were not left on the floor
Did not use the coffee pot as it looked dirty.
The advertised photo looks beautiful - this did not reflect our room.

It’s not new, but it’s clean, safe, and relatively inexpensive. I would happily stay there again!

I would have rated this property as excellent if the air conditioner had been up to its task.

The price was right for what we got. A place to sleep bed was clean. Room was clean.

I just need a place to sleep during road trip. Not a extended stay

I only stayed here because it had good reviews. The staff was really friendly. The rooms were very outdated, the carpet was filthy, & the blankets were smelly. I wouldn't recommend. Stay at the Little Bear Motel instead .

Outside trash overflowing. Very hard to set the dead bolt on my room. Bathtub very stained.

We have stayed here several times in the past as we traveled home from Nebraska and were always satisfied as we just wanted a clean and comfortable room for the night and a shower in the morning. This time however, we were very disappointed. When we went to our room, we could not get our door open. I went back to the desk and the attendant Zack, came back with me. He literally had to put his shoulder into the door to get it to open. When we got in, it was warm, but we figured the air had just been turned on, so we thought it would cool down. It didn't so my husband called to see if they had a different room for us to stay in. Zack was very accommodating and moved us to another room just a few doors down. It was much cooler. Zack was very apologetic about the whole thing. We slept comfortably for the night. In the morning however, the toilet backed up. I called the desk to see if they would bring a plunger to clear it. After waiting 20 minutes I walked down to ask for the plunger. They had to look for one which made me feel that my earlier call was not a priority for them. There were just two people standing around talking. Again, I know that we did not pay a premium for amenities, just a clean, comfortable and safe stop for the night. We should have at least gotten that.

AC didn’t really work. Luckily I had a fan with me.

This was the first hotel in a very long time that I felt like I needed to wear shoes in the room. The bed was broken and leaned down to one side. The one of three lightbulbs illuminated a very dusty glass lampshade. The only electrical outlet by the bed was at ground level and in the middle of where the headboard would be. The air conditioning didn’t get very cool and the pipes made noise. All in all I guess you get what you pay for. My recommendation: spend the few extra bucks and stay somewhere else.

Room was basic the AC was not working properly the door was difficult to open and lock. Not sure if we slept with the door not secure. beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean

They have made numerous updates , for the rooms .The area is easy to walk for dinner, or shopping or just a pleasant walk.

Room was very dirty,

Although the room was basic it was clean. The tall shower head was unexpected but appreciated.

Solid motel option. Room smelled like smoke, but was clean and the staff was nice.

After driving all day we checked in late. The ladies at the front desk were so very nice and helpful. They gave us a room downstairs since we are seniors with bad knees. They suggested places to eat that were still open. We had a very nice room, quiet, everything worked as it should. I would recommend this motel to anyone. 5 stars.

The staff was really kind, and the check-in/out process was super easy and quick. But this motel room was so dirty. They had baseboard heaters, and you could tell they had not been cleaned underneath in quite some time. The door was also broken. We couldn't shut it all the way in order to lock it.

The hotel is definitely older. Needs some updating. My problem was with the bugs found in the room. Made sure to keep everything off the floor. Shower was good.

Good place to stay.

Overall great. Staff was nice and the hotel is cat friendly and was super chill when we told them our car was with us. Rooms were clean and nice. Only reason its 4 stars is the AC in our room didnt work well. Would turn on for a few minutes then go to fan mode so the room was quite hot.

showers and floor were dirty nobody told me at check in where the ice machine was where they got the 8.8 rating is beyond me

I do not understand the 8.4 rating for this motel. The person who checked me in was not a talker, not even for the usual informations. Just a stern warning about the air conditioning. Then I got to my room and was astonished. Stians on the carpet, stains on the chairs, stains on the countertop with the sink. When I opened the fridge, two packets from a previous occupant. Later I discovered a used towel hanging in the bathroom.

The property was clean, staff was friendly. The showers are hot and had good pressure. It is dated and the parking lot was too small and has giant pot holes. Over all, it was a good stay.
4.0
Was clean with a large room. A couple of ddors needed some tlc (sticking)
1.5
Very old facility. The room smelled, the door didn’t shut tight, the HVAC unit didn’t work properly and the rooms carpet was dirty. No breakfast, no pool, no landscaping so when the curtain in the room was open anyone walking by could see in as in a 1960's motel.
