The guy at the front desk is rude yelled at me cause I left my key in the room at 7 am. The lobby doesn’t open till 9am. He gave me another key and it canceled my other 2. I went to ask for the other keys to be reset and he got mad. That key stopped working the following day so I had to go back to as for another key. He yelled at me and said that was the last key I was going to get. I got there on Wednesday and they didn’t clean my room until Sunday because I chased down the house keeper and asked if she would clean our room. She said “ I will clean it but I can get in trouble. We are not allowed to clean rooms until you move out. “ They are tearing out drywall and and insulation from all the rooms around us so the room gets dusty really quick. The lady did a good job at cleaning the room and by the next morning everything was dusty again. I’m still here in rock springs but I moved to a different hotel.

Room was in very very bad shape. Floor was falling apart. Walls were dirty. Bed was very old. Sheets had holes. Nothing was nice.

We ended up not staying here. The motel is rundown. We had stayed at other motel 6's on this vacation and they were good places. But our reason for leaving was because after 4 attempts we could not get a key to work to even open the door. Desk clerk even tried. I can't evaluate the room because did not enter. Clerk said there would be no charge but he charged my debit card anyway. Am going to try to get it back. Would recommend Quality Inn instead. Nice and clean!

The hotel is under major renovations. So normal operations seem to be a bit lacking. Stained towels, exterior of building in disrepair. Their road sign has a weekly rate they will not honor saying it is broken. It has been broken for a year.

Some Motel 6s are good, some are okay, and some are Rock Springs terrible. Our room did not have air conditioning. It has a control but it was not connected. They did provide a fan. The ceiling had stains. The wall had holes. There weren't enough outlets to plug in the microwave/fridge and TV at the same time. For some reason the night stand was in the corner of the room.

When we arrived at the motel, we were immediately checked in. When we went to the room the room was not made up, there were dirty linens piled up everywhere. We were then given a different room. The door does not shut correctly. The security latch was broken. The air conditioning unit had the intake hose pushed out the window and not very secure for room security.

It was AWFUL. The manager was so totally rude and condescending every time I had to deal with him. I drove 17 hours through the night because I was staying a month. He absolutely would not let me check in early and I got to town at 1130-12. I had a space heater for heat and it snowed the first 2 days I was there. After the first week it warmed up and I had no ac. I was told to open the window. I’m a day sleeper so u can imagine just how much sleep I got with the window open blowing hot air in, hearing every word spoken including some man near my door screaming at his kid. The final straw on a Sunday afternoon I was laying in my bed sweating and he walked into my room. No knock no nothing. That’s just a few of the highlights. I will NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER EAPECIALLY ROCK SPRINGS WYOMING

1st this Motel 6 in under going re model
1st floor rooms not avaible.
2nd floor rooms had no AC, person at desk said they would bring in portable AC quickly
But then key (card sensor) did not work. Person at desk came out and saw my card sensor was not working so he used his. Got me into the room, but then I realized he gave me his MASTER sensor card, I could get into any room (I checked on a couple rooms)> I went to desk and told him about giving me Master sensor card, and thought that was not a good idea (I have /had no bad intentions) He switched the card and moved me to a 3rd room . I decided it was too much hassle, and asked for a refund and went to a different hotel. When I was there another person was having difficulties with the check in person. This other person ALREADY paid for his room and it had cleared his bank. But the check in person, said that his card was not working. I do not know the outcome of this but it was not looking good. Desk check in person was not helpful and did not seem to know what he was doing

Do not stay here! Or room didn’t even have a working smoke detector. I don’t even think that’s legal! When I asked to be moved to a room that had one, I was told they were full up even though no one was or is here. The light fixtures are stained or shredded. The ac doesn’t work. The light in the bathroom flickers so much, it’s a good thing I’m not prone to seizures. This property should be permanently removed from all reputable platforms.

Very disappointing. The check-in clerk was not friendly at all. My grown son had to push the door really hard with his shoulder to get it to open. There were no wash cloths or a trash can in the room. The towels looked like they were really old and worn out. There was no AC. Luckily for us the temps were only in the mid 60's. The room had two double beds and they were jambed against the walls. They had two ice machines and neither of them worked. The only decent thing was the price. We've stayed at a lot of Motel 6's and always had a good experience. I would NOT RECOMMEND this place.

It has been a while since I wrote a bad review for a motel, but I had a big issue with this property. Arrived into town, booked a room minutes before pulling into the Motel 6, and tried to check in. The evening manager said that the water had been off for a while because of a frozen pipe (it is Wyoming in the winter) and that he recommended I cancel and stay elsewhere because there was no estimate of when the water would be running again. The plumber told me outside, when I was booking another room, that it would be a while and it would be wise to go elsewhere. The plumber and the front desk were in a small argument and it is after 9 PM; not a good sign. I contacted Hotels.com customer service the next morning and told them of the issue. The Motel 6 Rock Springs manager decided he was going to deny the request for my cancellation that could get my one nights stay money back. I do not think this is fair at all; that person knew about lack of water and I don't know how 2 people could have used the toilet, let alone shower or get a drink of water. Things happen, especially in frigid weather, and ethical businesses look beyond a cancellation policy and make things right. Sad that you decided to keep the money; you didn't really have a motel room to rent.

Heater made noises as If It was about to come rumbling down and the price was not charged correctly from Hotels.com . Called and was told that It would be compensated otherwise It would’ve been a huge Issue. The room was In terrible condition walls were peeling and bathroom door would not shut, but I had no choice but to stay because of how tired me and my family were.

Curtains were not all the way hooked on the rod, no wash clothes, no soap, shampoo, etc. Refrigerator smelled and freeze was full of water, very few options on TV for children and not the cleanest. And, No coffee pot but did have a small microwave. No heat but the office furnished a space heater. Outside was not maintain and several piles of dog poop. And, for some reason he charged me about $20 less then i was quoted online, which made it a little more in comparison.

While the staff is friendly they are not all skilled at their jobs, but make an effort. The Motel is in the process of renovation so some difficulties are not the fault of the facility. However working thermostats at this time of year is a complete requirement.

Always ask for one of the recently renovated rooms! Those are decent, with comfortable beds. We were in 205, which was satisfactory.

The heavyset man at the desk was arrogant and rude to my husband. It is cold here in late Sept, but he said they don’t turn on the heat til winter! He grudgingly gave us a heater, which flipped the breaker, and he was rude about flipping it back on again; we had to ask him again!

Both towels were disgusting. One had a blood stain and the other had a huge circular tear towards a corner. Also, there was a trash can under the P trap in the bathroom because it leaked so badly. Here’s an idea: Fix the leak amd THEN give out the room. Also, the shower was not cleaned and the water pressure was terrible. After seeing that, I grabbed a sleeping bag out of the car and slept on top of the bed.
By the way, the fact that they are remodeling has NOTHING to do with how poor the room was. Obviously, no one there cares if the shower is not cleaned and the P trap is cracked.

Property was dated, as expected, so no issue there. Hair on the sink and one in bathtub. Noticed this morning the bathtub faucet had a steady trickle. I couldnt turn it off. When i checked in, i was told the AC only worked on low setting. I didn’t notice even that working.
