I really enjoyed my stay at Downtown Suites in Boquete. It is quiet yet conveniently within walking distance to dining and shopping. There is a lovely courtyard with comfy seating to relax and enjoy the views. And there is a beautiful park just a 5 min walk away. Josue is very kind and helpful for arranging tours. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Boquete!

Fabulous location, within easy walking distance to everything in downtown Boquete. Great communication with Josue, who was very accommodating. Everything was terrific … little kitchen was adequate with grocery store closeby. Bedroom very spacious with patio doors to private balcony and garden. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, shower was superb! The only thing we were not 100% happy with was the seating in both the living room and the bedroom. We couldn’t sit for long in either space because of the uncomfortable furniture. This May have been the case for room #7 only … we haven’t encountered this problem at this hotel before. If they upgrade the seating options in the suite, it would be a 10/10 for sure!

We would absolutely stay here again if we find ourselves in Boquete! Josea was a wonderful host and our little apartment was perfect for our basic needs. The only small set back was that there was no hot running water in the sinks (only the shower) so we had to use the little stove unit to get water hot enough to wash dishes that we were using. There were lots of dining options within walking distance and don't forget to make a reservation for a 4x4 trek up Volcano Baru!

The staff at this hotel were great! There is no hot water plumbed to any sinks in the rooms even though these are kitchenettes. The hot water in the shower was not reliable. You needed to be aware at all times as the hot water was not consistent. It would change from cool to much too hot several times during a shower.

Location was terrific, within about 2 blocks of the primary bus stop and more or less 10 minutes walk to any number of restaurants. Front desk staff were terrific, friendly, helpful and professional. The room was spacious, clean, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Staff gave me great recommendations for taxi and tour guides. It was a great hopping off point for the area hikes!

A fantastic stay in Downtown Suites! It was great value for money and had a hot tub in the beautifully maintained garden which was perfect post hikes or on rainy days. The staff were very helpful too - during check-in we were proactively shown the map/things to do and taken care of throughout our stay. There were hummingbird feeders in the garden which was nice touch but unfortunately they were covered in wasps so the poor little hummingbird couldn’t get to it every time it tried - I don’t know what the solution is but it would be great if this could be sorted so the little fella can get to them.

Although the place itself is off the main drag & should be quiet I did not sleep the first night at all due to the neighbour's dog barking ALL NIGHT, non stop! I had to get up at 6am for a bird tour and no sleep made it a very rough day! Subsequent nights were almost as bad but I got used to it sort of & had afternoon naps when the beast was napping I guess. The suite was nice, with a kitchen, dishes, etc. but did NOT have any hot water! Washing dishes in cold water is rather unsanitary I'd say! Also, the bathroom sink did not have hot water & the only place to find it was in the shower. It's not that it wasn't working, it wasn't there with both the hot & cold lines in the kitchen & bathroom connected to the cold water line. The manager said that the owner has been thinking about running other hot water lines, but it will be tough. I would never stay there again unless the dog matter is handled & hot water is installed in the kitchen and bathroom!

Super clean place to stay excellent location to shopping and restaurants. Lots to see in the city very friendly and helpful staff. The grounds are beautiful and nice view to the mountains.

I stayed for 2 days and 2 nights. From the moment I got there Josue and Justin were very welcoming and helpful. They offered up tons of information on things to do in and around town and great places to eat. When I told them I wanted to go to the top of Volcán Barú they both got on the phone and started calling tour guides for me. The room was in EXCELLENT condition and was VERY clean. On the day I was to leave town I accidentally left my car lights on the previous night and killed my car battery. When Josue got to work he stopped what he was doing and drove me around town to get jumper cables and helped me get my car started. This place and the people who work there were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will definitely stay there if I ever come back to Boquete.

This was our second stay at this hotel and for the price it is a great deal. The rooms are nicely appointed and the bed comfortable. Most of the rooms have direct access to a beautifully landscaped back yard with gardens, workout area, gazebo and hammocks. It is really nice how the rooms open up to a terrace overlooking this space and there are even spots just outside your door where you can sit and rest your drinks and enjoy the view. When booking I would highly recommend that you get a room with this access. The hotel is only 2 blocks from the main street making walking to attractions a nice alternative instead of having to drive everywhere. You will not be disappointed.

Location is in the middle of Boquete but on quiet street. Room is large big suite. We travelled with our daughter - she slept on a couch in dining/kitchen area. Backdoor leads to private yard. Owner was very helpful, even helped to find good car mechanic.

We just completed a 4 night stay at Downtown Suites in Boquete. The location is fantastic as you are within walking distance of most shopping, restaurants and grocery store. Our room was very comfortable and included 2 very nice chairs to sit on outside in front of our room, plus we also enjoyed access to the very beautiful backyard with its gorgeous landscaping. It is nice to have a separate living/bedroom space plus a kitchenette with utensils and microwave and fridge; which you don't find very often in Panama. Staff was very friendly and helpful and it was nice to talk to Justin, the owner, as he is originally from USA and was very helpful in answering our questions about possibly relocating to Boquete. We experienced very reliable wifi as well as the best TV channel package we have experienced during both our trips to Panama. And, we loved Rusty the dog who welcomes you upon arrival.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel was in a great location. Quiet with beautiful garden and gazebo in back yard. Owners Justin & Kathy were very helpful in sharing information about the area. The cold beer in the fridge and snacks were appreciated after a long car drive on construction roads from Coronado!

This hotel was just what we needed. My husband and I had just spent 5 nights is a hut in Bocas and when we walked into our room at the Downtown Suites we were saying OMG. The room had a large living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It was very clean and well stocked with amenities. The Wi-Fi was super fast and the hotel is right in downtown. Close to the grocery store, tons of restaurants. We even got to see the flower fair. I would highly recommend this hotel for not only short stays, more importantly longer stays, as it was very comfortable and convenient.
