Customer service was awesome 💯💯

Staff was friendly, only concerns would be the room. Zero pressure in the shower which made it impossible to rinse body. Flaw with the glass for the shower also, the water leaks out and creates a puddle of water around the toilet. Looks like there’s a half inch gap between wall and the glass. Other than that, everything was good.

Pretty sure the front desk was wearing PAJAMAS... Unprofessional and lot of inane chatter with her friend (?). How is this a Hilton? Halls aren't vacuumed, room was not vacuumed. Depressing stay.

First time to Rochester. This hotel was right down the street from Kodak Hall at Eastman College of Music. Yunchan Lim piano recital was the attraction. Hilton Garden Inns have a business-standard quality but this Downtown Rochester location is definitely a cut-above. People working here understand the word ‘Hospitality’and demonstrate it constantly. Plus the food is really good. The breakfast buffet was far superior to similar at the United lounge in SFO. You definitely get value here but more importantly you get lots of positive human interaction - if that matters to you as much as it does to me.

Nice room. Glad they don't use hot thick comforters. Didn't know there is no outside view from the windows. Good location to the river

We loved that this old building has been repurposed for the hotel. Very nicely decorated. The room needed a few little fixes to the bathroom.

Great hotel.

They are renovating the garage and that was a bit difficult to figure out. Enjoyed the stay - convenient to our event and the shuttle was available for us to use!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. They checked in on us every day making sure we were satisfied.

Not as updated as other Hilton Garden I've been to. - 1st room I was assigned was not cleaned and second room I moved to the key card had to be reset 5 times - I got ID on the last key Card reset and questioned was anyone else in the room thought he seem both of us come in together. That person should be fired.

Room was almost $200 and I think overpriced. We should have booked directly. This was the view from our room. It was right next to the elevator. When we asked to change rooms, they told us nothing was available due to us booking via a second party (hotels.com) what a ripoff

Convenient with the parking

Stay was comfortable and location was great. Our reservation was for six people but it didn’t look like the room was prepared - not enough towels, no bedding for the pullout couch. We had to call for these items. The room was also not cleaned every day which is problematic for a six person reservation. It would have been nice for breakfast to be included as well. Other than that, a great option for downtown Rochester, NY!

Arrived early and room was ready.
Was given many options for what to do in the area.

Stayed there w 2 dogs. The parking garage situation is a bit of a hassle, but otherwise, it was a fine experience. Walking distance to stuff we cared about! Nice folks!

Shower head holder that is screwed into the wall was broken.

We booked the King bed suite. There is a good amount of space for both the living room and the bedroom. However, some of the furnishings and textiles (e.g. carpets, couch) either had stains or just a bit drab / dirty. No pot lights and a lot of the free standing lights did not work. The whole suite needs updating and it's showing it's age. The public areas of the hotel are well appointed, however. The only reason I booked this hotel was to have a separated bedroom for our two kids. I would not be booking there again. Would rather book the more updated Hampton Inn across from the Strong museum (our friends booked there and raved about it).

The hotel and staff are phenomenal. Rochester in general I found to be unsafe to be walking around with small children. There are a lot of homeless around the area in general and the city doesn't have many friendly walking areas in the downtown.

My stay was great! Only thing was the remote to the tv didnt work, even after the front desk cane and gave me batteries

The hotel (outside) area is ok. If you want nice restaurants, museums you have to drive about 3 miles from hotel.

Short walk to the Museum of Play. Nice room and good restaurant onsite. I was disappointed that the room wasn't stocked with shampoo, or extra blankets (we had a room with a pullout couch) , and when I needed a pen and paper I realized there wasn't any in the room. We stayed at 7 hotels over 10 nights, the Hilton was the first to not have paper/pen, shampoo, extra bedding.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Arrival signage would be helpful-where to park while checking in/etc. The City owned parking situation caused confusion for several guests. The city employed garage attendant seemed more intent on giving folks a hard time as opposed to just simply being helpful when asked. The hotel elevators seemed to make excessive noise that we had not experienced anywhere before. Due to our rooms proximity to the elevator, it was unavoidably noticeable most hours of the day (every time anyone called for an elevator, we knew it). We were there during what we understood to be an abnormal heat wave. The elevator area and hall to our room was quite hot during the day (quite warmer than outside).

The parking garage needs better signage and better markings to identify where cars are parked and where the entrance to the hotel is.

Staff was great, not a good area, no green space and nothing is open at night.

This property was clean. The staff were friendly and it was located in a convenient location.

While the property is well situated downtown (great restaurant options in the neighborhood, and close to the highways), the parkade is undergoing construction and super confusion on it's own - the construction just makes it even more confusing! The hotel is good; however, if you're sensitive to scents, then you'll want to stay elsewhere. They use a green apple air freshener throughout the hotel (lobby, hallways, elevator) and it is VERY overwhelming - especially in smaller areas like the elevators. There's no escaping the scent, and it even embedded itself in my clothes - - to be honest, it put me right off staying there again.

This Hotel should be offer a Breakfast for 183 Dollars by Night, other wise the property is very clean, quiet and well located in the Roschester Dowtown.

Nice hotel, bar is exquisite, staff is friendly, room was a perfect temperature (sometimes you go in and it is insanely cold or warm, this was neither)

Great place to stay for our daughters Rochester graduation weekend! Right in the city so very close to all downtown restaurants and corporate area. Be sure to keep the paper parking pass that they give you upon check-in. The garage is run by a different company and they get a bit surly if you need assistance exiting the parking garage. Other than that, great stay!

Great stay. Right in the heart of the city. Convenient to downtown restaurants and the Strong Museum of Play which I highly recommend....super fun for adults and kids alike!

If you’re attending a concert at the Blue Cross Arena it is in the perfect location! Parking is available and a parking pass is given with the room. Staff were friendly and check-in/check-out was extremely easy and quick.

The hotel was very clean, very well taken care of. As is the new normal, significantly understaffed and check in times for myself and several others traveling with me were significantly delayed.

The room was cold and there was no place to turn heat up.
They charged me $293.67

Coming out of parking garage was suppose to be free. When we left Sunday
morning at 6:45am I had to pay $10 to get out of garage. We checked out before leaving.
Room was cold and we could not put heat up.

They told me my reservations were canceled so I had to find other rooms. Will not use your site again
