One star experience for the price of a 3.5 star hotel. Staff were not very friendly or hospitable. Breakfast options were limited and not good. Constant slamming doors. Shower not working great. Towels and bedding seemed old and poor quality. Saw a cockroach.

Staff are great, very friendly, reliable and helpful. My brother and his family of 5 stayed overnight so we could bond longer, they are from General Trias. Thank you, it was a great experience for the kids especially. They used the pool, it was love. We wished we booked there but it was sold out on the dates we wanted. The billiard table was a bonus, my Aussie husband bonded with my brother over severa games which he won, it was a memorable time for all of us. Thanks a lot!

Tagaytay Country Hotel is a great considering the rates. We booked 3 rooms, and all are clean and restful. WIFI connection is strong even the rooms located on lower ground. The kids enjoy the amenities especially the infinity pool. And the best of all is the friendly hotel staff from the front desk, Bellboys, housekeeping and security. We will be back soon! rated 5 star

This property has been a nightmare. We decided to come to Tagaytay last minute and found this place because of the pool. Come to find out, the pool was not available. However, we decided to stay a couple more days so we can explore more so we booked a different room to accommodate all 6 of us. When we checked in, they claimed to give us an “upgrade.” Shortly after getting to the room, we received a phone call from the front desk stating that the room that we got was only for 4 and that I needed to pay additionally for the 2 adults. I purposely booked for 6 (4 adults and 2 children) because that was how many we had in our party. How dare this property claim to provide an upgrade and then try to charge us extra?! Ridiculous! To top it off, they send over a messenger to try to charge us and send over a bill?! This is not just bad business but it is so unprofessional. I definitely DO NOT recommend this place. Never have I experienced this!

We were on family vacation, eight (8) of us, including two (2) senior citizens (my in-laws). reserve three (3) bunker-type rooms, because i thought it was small. But to our surprise, the room was spacious, comfortable & contains 4 beds per room for a total of 12 beds! I could have paid only TWO ROOMS instead of THREE (my goodness!)There is no elevator (LIFT) in the hotel. The breakfast was also great. The air-conditioning was very cold. There is little issue regarding there smoking area located in the distal right of the entrance door. The smokes of the brats still reaches our nostrils. (Pls provide a vacuum-type room for this smokers)Overall, our stay is great. When you go to Tagaytay (in a group of tight budget), this is a perfect place! We will still stay in this hotel when we go back to Tagaytay.

Overall it was a happy stay for us though it was an overnight stay only. Staffs were very welcoming! They even guide us as to where the pool is.and where our room would be. They were very polite answering our queries.

The staff were excellent but the room was fair.

Hotel staff did a good job responding to guest needs. Hotel somehow looks old and may need refurbishing. The rooms though in apartment row are big, and well suited for a family on a vacation.

If you have an aged person with you, BETTER NOT book this hotel coz it is not comfortable for them. I ask for a room that is accessible for old people then they give us a basement room where our guest have to climbed down the stairs with no lift at all.

Quick check in/check out. Very central to shops and bus stop. Clean comfortable room.

The room was not great but ok. The hotel facility looked old and not well maintained. But honestly speaking, I don't think it was worth of what I paid for. We could have booked in a different hotel or inn for a much lower rate with the same facilities Tagaytay Country Hotel have offered to us. The bed was really uncomfortable. The toilet has this continuous flow of water and the first time I used it, it did not flush. We had to call the front desk twice just for them to send someone to fix it. Probably took us a good 30 minutes of waiting before the problem was resolved. I thought they will offer a room transfer because of the faulty toilet but they had it fixed instead. I was just wondering if the housekeeper who cleaned that room did not notice that or just ignored the toilet and did not care. Free breakfast was okay, except for the noisy restaurant staffs and team leaders/managers. They were talking about personal matters and it was so loud I could actually butt in and join their conversation. I think that was very unprofessional of them. The servers would not even say a word when handing over condiments or beverages. One staff was also seated right in front of the television, watching, while we were having breakfast. The location is quite good for it is close to pretty much everything but I would definitely look into checking in at a different hotel the next time I go to Tagaytay.

The minute I stepped in the hotel, I was ignored by the two staff in the front desk and I have to be the one to introduce myself and my reservation. The room was big but saw three cockroach coming out of the bathroom. Internet is not good and no cell signal comes in the hotel since its located down the city. The aircon was busted it closes and opens by itself and started leaking mid in the evening. It was only fixed on my last day.
The good point for me with this hotel is its location and pool though they need to look into cleaning it more.

No water heater and i phoned them numerous times they didn't even work on it. Awful!
There is no wifi only in the lobby. What's up with that?
